I've created my installation disk and downloaded all the support files for bootcamp, but when I click the button to install windows nothing (and I do mean nothing) happens. No pop ups, no error, no anything.

I really need some boot camp help...

You are running 10.5.8
Did you try booting off your Install disk holding the c key down. From here you can get to the drop down menu just a few clicks in (you are not going to install) and run the Disk Utility>Repair Disk. See if it will let you do this.

The pdf is loading as html code. If you save it, it will download as :
605124.pdf.html
Change the extension to .pdf

Without a link, it's anybody's guess.
It could be a problem the video rendering itself. Which software did you use?
Did you export to the 3 file types -- MP4, OGG and WEBM to support all browsers?
Does your web server support those 3 MIME file types?

I am trying to reapply for the FAFSA online for school but when I click the "start now" button it takes me to a page which says I have an incompatible browser and need to update my Firefox.

I have the latest version and I tried updating anyways, but it still won't let me access the page to fill it out. I just downloaded 30 free apps from Itunes but when I tap on them on my Ipad nothing happens.

I have tried reset but that didn't help either. I have plenty of room according to the Itunes connection to my Ipad so why won't the apps I just downloaded open. Most were free but I may have paid for 2. I also cannot download apps from my Ipad alone because it brings up an old email address not the new one I opened so I have to download them on my computer and then sync my Ipad to get them.

Try deleting the 'broken' apps and re-downloading them.
There was a DRM (digital rights management) problem with some apps updated and downloaded from the App Store between July 3rd and July 5th. Apple fixed the problem, and re-released the apps:

I keep getting a popup window saying there is an important update for FireFox but when I click on "More information about this update" it doesn't show anything. It seems suspicious so I have not downloaded or installed it.

There is a security update for Firefox (Firefox 10.0.2) which you should apply. Unfortunately, it looks as if the updater on your Firefox is messing up somehow.
The easiest way to work around this and get you secure is to go to [http://www.getfirefox.com www.getfirefox.com], and download the latest version of Firefox there. After it downloads, go ahead and run the installer over your current Firefox. None of your settings will be changed, but it will apply the security fix, and you will be all good to go!

IMDB is listed as an add-on, but when I click on it to install it, I get an error message saying "this add on is not supported by Firefox". I find this very strange, since I have the add-on installed on my desktop--it just won't install to my laptop.

Compaq laptop with Windows 7 installed. My desktop PC uses Windows Vista SP2. I have the IMDB search engine add-on installed on my desktop, and it works perfectly. When I attempt to install the add-on to my laptop, I get an error stating that "this add-on isn't supported by Firefox and can't be installed". Hey there - just a few minutes ago suddently I experienced the same problem.
However, a couple of months ago on December 1, 2012, I purchased/downloaded Prometheus (Movie) no prob.
Anyhow, here's how I resolved the issue: (restarted after each download/update)
Originally running OSX 10.5.8, iTunes 9.2, Safari 4.0.5, Quicktime 7.6.4
Then, in effort to fix, I downloaded/updated from the apple website "iTunes 10.3" - Didn't solve my problem.
So then I downloaded/updated from the apple website "iTunes 10.6.3" - Didn't solve my problem.
So then I downloaded/updated via apple (menu) software update "Security Update 2011-4" - Still nothing.
So then I reinstalled iTunes 10.6.3 - Still didn't solve my problem.
And then finally, when I downloaded/updated via apple (menu) software update "Safari 5.0.6" - Resolved it!!!
So now I'm running OSX 10.5.8, iTunes 10.6.3, Safari 5.0.6, Quicktime 7.6.4
