I've decided to buy the photoshop touch. My questions are related to membership which could be after sale, complementary or mandatory, such as the creative cloud.

I have decided to purchase the photoshop touch for my phone. I'm aware that I need to buy it on the play store by paying through the Google wallet. It is all good with me until this point. Now my doubt is if I need an additional membership to anything, such as the creative cloud? Is it mandatory? Or can I simply work on the photoshop touch app after buying it without having to pay for any charges or buying a membership?

access to the creative cloud is included with the app, no additional fees are required beyond the purchasing price listed on the Google play and Apple app stores.
the creative cloud is also not mandatory, you only need it if you want to access an editable version(with layers) on a different device because local export options "flatten" the image.

How can I upgrade from Photoshop CS4 to Cs 5 or 6 without buying the creative cloud?

    Well CS5's ship has sailed.
CS6 can still be purchased on Perpetual License but it's not going to have all the bells & whistles that the current versions have.  Just as long as you understand what you're getting.

You can't install 9.2.1 or earlier on any Mac that is only Mac OS X bootable. In fact you need to use the restore disks which came with those Macs to install 9.2.2 on those Macs. 8.6 is only possible to install on Macs which came with 8.6 or earlier. The 9.1 disk may be useful for your 1999 PowerMac G4, but won't be of any use for a 2006 Powerbook G4.

  • Can I buy the Creative Cloud in New Zealand, and use it in Qatar?

    Hi,
I have project in Qatar, Doha and I will be based here for next year or so. So can I buy the Creative Cloud Service in NZ, where I live and use the Creative Cloud service and applications in Qatar (Middle East)? Would appreicate answer as soon as possible.
    Thanks,
    Rehan Saiyed

Although I'm not 100% sure, I would say that as long as your registration is consistent with your NZ information, you should be able to purchase CC. This includes an Adobe ID associated with NZ as your primary country, a NZ shipping/billing address, credit card information, etc. The only problem I might see popping up is being on an IP address originating in Qatar, since internet access is required for registering and downloading apps.
Just to be safe though, I would try contacting customer support.
    Go here: http://helpx.adobe.com/contact/ ,
    Select Creative Cloud,
Select a topic from the dropdown menu,
And then click "I Still Need Help"
You should be able chat or call.

I hope this helped point you in the right direction, best of luck.

  • If I buy the Creative Cloud, will I have access to the CS6 apps as well?

I was just wondering if the Creative Cloud Student bundle comes with both the CC versions and the CS6 versions of the apps. I am most interested in the CS6 version of Photoshop.

  • When I start the software, show me a trial modal. I don't have a serial number and I buyed the Creative Cloud

    Hello!
I have buyed Photoshop CC and Illustrator CC and when I start the software, show me a trial modal. I don't have a serial number.
I have only 9 days now, anyone can help me? Ah.. and sorry my english!
    Thank you.

Cloud programs do not use serial numbers... you log in to your paid Cloud account to download & install & activate... you MAY need to log out of the Cloud and restart your computer and log back in to the Cloud for things to work

  • Can I buy the Creative Cloud from Europe?

Can I buy the US creative cloud from Europe? There is a, unjustified 50% price difference and I want to sign up for the US version. Is that a possibility?

    Hi PillBlast,
    Welcome to Adobe Forum.
If you have an US Adobe ID & Credit card from US, you can place order from US Adobe store & activate it.
The reason of vast difference in price is due to Tax Structure, http://forums.adobe.com/message/4372666
Hope this helps you, please mark this post if the issue has been addressed, we value your opinion.

  • I want to buy the Creative Cloud Photography plan that includes Photoshop and Lightroom but I currently have a plan $9.99 a month that includes only Photoshop CC. How do I switch plans?

If you're already on an installment plan for $9.95 per month that includes only Photoshop CC, how do switch plans to obtain the combination Photoshop and Lightroom plans for the same price?
    Thanks,
    Dennis

Cancel old and buy new is the only way I know, but you MAY be able to exchange
Return, cancel, or exchange an Adobe order

  • Understanding the Creative Cloud Plans for a first-time photoshop user

I've never had photoshop before and I downloaded just the free 30-day trial. Then I purchased the Creative Cloud Photography plan (the one that's 9.99 a month). But I need help understanding what this offer me, because in the description this seemed to offer Photoshop and Lightroom, but I don't see an option to install those apps on my creative cloud.
If I'm a first time user do I have to buy the creative cloud complete in order to have access to Photoshop and Lightroom?

Here's a screenshot of what I've got right now. The apps are just saying try, not install. Do I need to purchase the products themselves and the CC is just access to the cloud?

  • What happens to my images if I decide in a few years to discontinue the creative cloud

how would I be able to access and use my images if I decide to discontinue the creative cloud in a few years?

raw files can be opened by any program that can use that format.  that's not an adobe proprietary format.  eg, How do I view RAW pictures in Windows 7? - Microsoft Windows Help
psd, on the other hand, is photoshop only.

  • Currently Own CS3 but want to upgrade to The Creative Cloud...

I currently own Adobe CS3 but want to upgrade to the Photography Creative Cloud (Photoshop and Lightroom). Do I need to uninstall CS3 from my computer before I buy the Creative Cloud?

No, you do not need to uninstall CS3 before installing CC.  You should still be able to use it (not sure if there will be any issues though).
What you might try before buying is installing CC as a 30 day trial.  That will make things clear without having to chance the investment.

  • Will story's cost be looped into the Creative Cloud?

    Hi,
I like Story - and see the release is set for a month away or so.  Is it going to be looped into the pricing for the Adobe Creative Cloud?  The Creative CLoud thing is pricey - starting at $50 a month... Whoa geez!   I only use Premiere and Story - and don't need the cloud services for the other gagillion products?
Can story be separate from the Creative Cloud thing, there is no way I can afford 50 a/mo.

There will be a separate price for Story. You do not have to buy the creative cloud just to access Story. That said, it might be cheaper to subscribe to the CCM if you use multiple adobe products.

  • Photoshop Touch as part of the Creative Cloud

How do you download Photoshop touch as part of the Creative Cloud ?   When I click on download it opens up in itunes and ask for another payment.  Is it not included with  the Creative Cloud?

Adding to what Guido said, PS Touch is in several closed electronic marketplaces (Google Play, iTunes & Amazon's Appstore) so there's no easy way of linking those to your CC account.
That being said, once you buy PS Touch, you're practically locked in for any updates. (And PS Touch has come a long way since version 1.0.)
