I've deleted events from my calendar but I keep getting reminders.

I had a daily reminder set on my calendar on my iphone 4s. I have since deleted the reminders as I no longer need them, however I still get the reminders every day. Does anyone know why & how to stop this. I've deleted the events & done everything else I can think off but I still get the reminders.

How you delete content from your iPod depends on whether you have it set up to sync manually or automatically with your iTunes library.

If still no luck, you can always opt to restore the iPod. This will delete all the content from your iPod and set it back to its original default settings.

Can't add/modify/delete events from iPad calendar app after updating to iOS-5

Ever since I upgraded the OS on my iPad, I haven't been able to delete/modify events on the calendar app. I have to do it on my Mac first then sync my iPad to it. How do I fix this. Can't delete Calendar app & reinstall.

Have you restarted the iPad? some have reported that restarting it, by holding down the sleep and home key until you see the silver apple, can resolve the issue.

before i was using my photo stream and i could access the photos from all the devices but since the last update I only have one album "all photos" and every time i try to delete a photos it says that it will be deleted from iCloud as well. It seems, as if me and my client have kind of the same issue. Any suggestions to this: I sent my client an invitation via my iCal from my iMac (using my yahoo calendar as the exchange server). My client accepted the invitation. Now I have deleted this appointment from my iCal and my yahoo calendar. But my client is not able to delete the appointment in his iPhone 4S. What can my client do?
My client already went to the next apple store. There they told him to plug in his iPhone 4S to my iMac. Then he would be able to delete the appointment. Honestly, this does not make any sense to me. Why does my client have to come to me and plug in his iPhone into my iMac to get a meeting deleted. What if my client lived in a different country?????

I have deleted many important events in my ipod touch, this morning i deleted a specific calendar thinking that i wouldn't need it, along with deleting the calendar i deleted all of its events without thinking. i need those events back and am having a hard time getting them back. is there a way to get that calendar and its events back?

Restore the iPod from backup. If you are restoring via iTunes make sure the autosyncing is off otherwise when you connect the iPod the backup with the calendar might be overwritten. To turn off go to iTunes>Preferences>Devices and check the box that says "Prevent iPods...".

Most often a connection error. Since you are (I assume) seeing this on your iPad, the solution that often solves this is to reboot your iPad. Press and hold BOTH the power and home buttons at the SAME time for at least 10 seconds (ignore the red slider to shut down) until the Apple Logo appears, then let go of both buttons and your iPad will restart. Once back up, try again and see if there is still an issue.

Go to Settings>Mail, Contacts and Calendars
Tap on your mail account
Scroll to the bottom
Tap on Advanced

I tried to set the date to today, but I got the same result. Since setting a date is supposed to delete all events older than that date, I don't think setting it in the past will delete anything.

Moving events from one calendar to another

Is it possible to move events from one calendar to another?
Here is our scenario:
User abc123 has set up a calendar abc123:boardroom for other users to book slots in the board room (he didn't know about resource calendars at the time and so didn't request one be created).
Now abc123 is leaving the company, so his calendars are going to disappear, along with all the bookings for the board room.
So my question is, can these events (and tasks) be moved to another calendar?
I've tried creating a resource calendar and exporting/importing the calendar data, but this appears to leave the organizer of each event set as abc123:boardroom, with the result that the owner of the new resource calendar cannot modify the imported events.
Maybe I'm missing something blindingly obvious here, but there doesn't seem to be any way to actually move events from one calendar to another. Does anyone have any advice as to how I might achieve this?

here is one way:
Click on a meeting to get a Compose window. In the upper right Calendar box, click on the dropdown icon and select the calendar you want to move to from the list. Click on OK to save.
Of course, if you have a lot of meetings to move, this will be a pain, but it does work.
Note: before you do this, make sure you are an "owner" of the calendars(s) you want to move meetings to (or otherwise have access), and are subscribed to those calendars.

To set up CalDAV support for Google Calendar in Apple's iCal, follow these steps:
Open Apple iCal, go to Preferences and then the Accounts tab.
Click on the + button to add an account.
In the box that pops up, enter a description for the account and your Google Account username and password.
Under Server Options, add the following URL:

Replace '[email protected]' with the email address that you use to log in to Calendar. Make sure to include the '@domain.com' portion (which is @gmail.com for Gmail users) in this section.

You won't be able to invite or email guests to Google Calendar events within iCal if your address is not in your Address Book.
Your Google Calendar will now appear in iCal's list of calendars, and changes you make to your Google Calendar in iCal will be reflected when you sign in to Google Calendar.
Event information will automatically refresh every five minutes. You can change this interval by opening the iCal > Preferences > Accounts menu and selecting a new refresh interval under the 'Refresh calendars' drop-down. Keep in mind you can also force a refresh by selecting a calendar and pressing the Apple and R keys at the same time.
Calendars that are checked but disabled have already been added to iCal - you can remove them from within iCal.
