hello thanks for helping i found where the problem was coming from but no how to resolve it. it sems like the AC3 format of avi video is in conflict with quicktime pro or something like that..
i tried to take some codec for avi video but none of them resolved the problem if somebody has any answers thank you very much.

You should be able to enter the code into the preferences dialog of your existing QuickTime installation to upgrade it to pro.

Hello.
I have already bought quicktime pro but after I had to reinstall it is running again without the pro options. I logged into apple.com and there is nowhere where I can find my actualisation or key code which I have paid for to make it run as pro.
Does anyone know where to find it or how to fix this problem so it runs as pro again without having to pay for it again?

If you've lost the email Apple sent you containing the Pro key, log into your account in the Apple Store and click on the Downloadable Software Purchases link. You should find the key shown there.

QuickTime only appears on System Preferences if you are running Mac OS X Leopard, and you have OS X Mountain Lion.
In Mac OS X Snow Leopard and newer, QuickTime Player 7 isn't included, so you have to install it before getting QuickTime 7 Pro > http://support.apple.com/kb/ht3678
After installing QuickTime Player 7, you have to activate it in order to get QuickTime 7 Pro. In that link, follow the steps under "Information for QuickTime 7 Pro users"

I spend a fair bit of time answering question on this forum, but I had to do a clean reinstall of my operating system, and reload all programs recently. And I can't say it was particulary easy to find and download the Desktop Application manager, which handles the rest of the installations for you.

I have just purchased Quicktime Pro but Trim does not display IN and OUT options. It trims to the frame on display.

I have just installed Qicltime Pro but when I edit a video file and try to set the In and Out points, it does not show any way to set them. It trims the video down to the one point on display. Have I installed the software correctly?

QuickTime Player 7 Pro is in the Utilities folder.
To set in and out points set the position you want in the timeline and tap the i key. Move to the end of your selection and tap the o key. To step frame by frame move the playhead by tapping the left/right arrow keys.

I just bought an album but the music is no where to be found yet the money was from my account like if it was purchased. How do i get my music?

I just bought an album but a screen came up saying that i need to verify my account through security questions. Initially I didnt get the answers right to the questions so itunes locked me out. When i went to see if the music downloaded, it didnt. But from the amount left on my giftcard, it's clear that the album had been bought. I looked in the "downloaded" section and cant find this album. I even tried rebuying the album to see if it would resume its download but it was going to completely rebuy it.
Please help me receive the music I bought.

Just bought Quicktime Pro, can't load into V10, but won't allow me to install V7 with V10 Present.

OK I video'd my bands latest gig on the weekends using I-Movie, but when played back on I-movie, the video / Audio are over 10 seconds out of sync. Common Problem apparently, however on Quicktime it runs smoothly, so I was told I need to edit it in Quicktime Pro. Easier said that done. Quicktime Pro is only available for V7, I have V10 installed, and it will not allow me to install V7 when V10 is installed. Already paid for the rego, so not Freaking impressed with Apple having such a F..d up system in place where they do not keep the Pro version up to date with the free version. What do I do?

I've just had it.
I'm gonna test it to see if it was what they said that worse or good.
I'll post my experience here later.

The results are better than I expected!
I was very worry when I saw the comments and poor stars on QuickTime Pro 7.6 section.
Now I know those who claim that QTP 7.6 wasn't worth to buy are not true.
Since I've tested it whole afternoon, no problem at all, and one surprised me was, it has DivX 6.6 embedded! I can't believe it, I was almost to click BUY on DivX web site, but I didn't and I don't have to.
Here are my test results below :
A 17 seconds Original files captured by Sony W5, original Codecs:MPEG1 Muxed
Dimensions : 640 X 480 : Original size 21.3MB
After Export from QuickTime Pro 7.6
Movie to QuickTime movie with Default Settings, size turns out 36.3MB
Movie to QuickTime movie with Broadband Low, size turns out 224KB
Movie to QuickTime movie with Streaming Medium, size turns out 684KB
Movie to QuickTime movie with Broadband Medium, size turns out 620KB
Movie to QuickTime movie with Broadband High, size turns out 1.6MB (480x360 and very clear!)
Movie to QuickTime movie with LAN/Intranet, size turns out 3MB (640x480, and same quality with original Sony file)
Movie to FLC, size turns out 48.6MB (which is very big, I don't know what FLC is for?)
Movie to DIvX, size turns out 2.6MB (This is amazing, the quality is very good)
Movie to Microsoft WMV, failed.
Because it said it couldn't file the sounds track, well, WHO cares?! Hahaha!
fu-k the WMV, who would buy a QuickTime Pro to convert .mov .mpg back to old .wmv anyway?
So far so good, QTP is the software I needed, maybe I will find a problem later, but so far now, there is no problem at all, don't trust the comments on shopping area too much, here are my results so far and I'll post more results if I had chance.
There is one query for me only, that is, what is the details of the Movie to QuickTime movie(Default Settings)? Since I examine the two files, the QTM(default) and the QTM(LAN), they are the same 640x480 and almost the same quality, I would say 95% the same, the QTM(LAN) seems very very good in size, which is only 14% of the original, I think I will use this one as my favorite.
Any comments?

Where can I download photoshop cs 8.0 I have the serial number from the case but I can't find the Cd that came with it. I can't find where to download the software for it so I can just enter the serial number and download the program.

I am trying to find at least the trial version so that I can enter the serial number that I have on the back of the case and activate the full version so I can get some work I need to get done finished. My laptop was thrown away after a flood in my basement and I believe the cd was still in it. I don't recall ever taking it out.

Forget your existing disc and serial number. They won't work.
Download the new non-activation version of CS2 (applies to CS owners as well) from
Error: Activation Server Unavailable | CS2, Acrobat 7, Audition 3
Install then enter the new serial number provided at that link.
