Is the app checked in the Apps tab of iTunes? That's how you tell iTunes whether you want the app on your phone or not.
Otherwise, check the very last screen on the phone.

I have already restored my phone to the newest software and also completely uninstalled itunes and re downloaded it.Basic troubleshooting steps clearly outlined in the User Guide are restart, reset, restore from backup, restore as new device.
If you have gone through ALL the above steps and are still having problems, then you'll need to bring your phone into Apple for evaluation. -

If the phone is actually working you can reset it fron the handset, but yours does not appear to be working. Be sure you are using a good cable and the cable is connected directly to a USB port on the computer (not a hub). Follow the instructions carefully in that link; the computer will not recognize the phone until it is in Recovery mode, and it's complicated to get it there. If you have followed the instructions exactly and it still is not recognized in iTunes. try removing and reinstalling iTunes: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1925. If that still fails try a different computer, and also try restoring from DFU mode (Google is your friend).

Your iPhone charging port may have a minor short, causing iPhone to falsely sense it is connected to a dock turning off its speaker. Clean iPhone charging port with a clean dry toothbrush.

I purchased an app and even received a confirmation e-mail but it isn't on my phone. Where is it?
I purchased Bejeweled 2 + Blitz for my iPhone and even received an e-mail confirmation but the app is no where to be found. I went back in to try to purchase it again in case there was a mistake but it tells me that I already purchased it! frustrated!! Now I have been on hold with support for 20 minutes and there isn't any music or any way to even know if there is truly anyone about to take this call. The only way i know that I am really on hold is that the minutes are ticking away and the number is clearly the correct 800 number for support. I just want help :/

App Store is showing that I have 5 updates but when I go into updates nothing appears. I'm not even getting the message that all apps are up to date. I've shut down and restarted but that has not resolved the issue.
Try updating from here:
App Store>Purchased>Select "All"
Note: You'll have to look out for apps that have the word "Update" -

From your OLD computer...
Copy your ENTIRE iTunes FOLDER to an External Drive... and then from the External Drive to your New Computer..

Restore, if iTunes will let you. Everything except the password will be restored. Connect via cable to the computer that you use for sync. Be forewarned that it takes a long time. From iTunes, select the iPad/iPod and then select the Summary tab. Follow directions for Restore and be sure to say "yes" to the backup. You will be warned that all data (apps, music, movies, etc.) will be erased but, as the Restore finishes, you will be asked if you wish the contents of the backup to be copied to the iPad/iPod. Again, say "yes."
At the end of the basic Restore, you will be asked if you wish to sync the iPad/iPod. As before, say "yes." Note that that sync selection will disappear and the Restore will end if you do not respond within a reasonable time. If that happens, only the apps that are part of the IOS will appear on your device. Corrective action is simple - choose manual "Sync" from the bottom right of iTunes.
If you're unable to do the Restore, go into Recovery Mode per the instructions here. -
Can anyone tell me how to tranfer the music that is on my Shuffle to iTunes? When I go to Sync it, it gives me a warning that all the music on my Shuffle will be deleted and replaced with what is on my iTunes. I recently changed computers from an HP to a Mac-Mini and did not transfer/sync the itunes prior to getting rid of my itunes. So the music I had on itunes does not appear in my library. Help please!
