I can't undertsand what is going on since the closing has never occurred before.

The offer from EE was presumably to fix the phone , which they are entitled to do, you turned it down.
You can either go back to them and take up their offer to repair or you can try the Nokia warranty which will involve you contacting Nokia direct either by taking it to an authorised/approved Nokia care centre or submitting an online claim under the warranty to Nokia and following whatever instructions they issue for sending the phone to them.
You have not so far contacted Nokia as you have dealt only with EE.
I'm surprised the EE assistant told you the phone was being sent to Nokia rather than their inhouse technicians although I think that was simply a mistake on the assistant's part.
How did you get a PAYG phone from EE? I thought EE were offering contracts only.
So far as time scales EE don't post phones backwards and forwards on an individual basis. The shops use courier services and the frequency of deliveries and collections will depend on the number of shops in a town and the level of goods going back and forth.

A few weeks ago an itunes upgrade did not install properly on my PC so I had to uninstall itunes and everything associated with it. I was able to reinstall itunes and it works fine including syncing with my ipod. However, now whenever I open my email (outlook) a box pops up stating MobileMe Services has stooped working. This happens a couple of times after I click to close the program. This a nusance and really slows down getting to my email. From what I've found MobileMe was something that used to be used by itunes to sync mobile devices but is no longer used by itunes. I can't find a way to remove this MobileMe from my PC. I've tried going into Contol Panel then Programs and Features to uninstall it but there is no button there to uninstall it. Any suggestions on how this can be removed?
Do you have a backup that you can restore from? Your old hard drive seems to be the problem.

I've been using iMovie for a while now to make movies out of mostly travel photos and video clips. I try to vary the time for the photos from 1-4 sec., although most of them are 1-2 seconds so as to keep it short. A friend of mine who saw my most recent product said that this is too short. Any ideas out there?
I apologize for my confusion on your question. I find that depending on the principal of each photo and my target audience to determine the time frame for each photo. It seems most people get impatient with viewing one photo for more than 1-2 seconds if the photo is not complex.
If there are several things that interests the viewers in any one image, they want to look at it a second or two longer. If the movie of images is a training aid, the images may need to be more than 3 seconds. For intro's, or a trailer for a training movie, no longer than 1-2 seconds.
That was a long answer to say, generally speaking, I find 3 seconds to be an average time length. -

In the current Firefox 34 release there is a new "one-off" search bar.
This search bar doesn't show the name of the search engine and a logo.
You can type one letter to make a drop-down list appear where you can see suggestions and see the used search engine and that also has bar at the bottom where you can select other search engines that are enabled via the Search tab in Options/Preferences.
You can use the Tab key to select one of the other available search engines and press the Enter key to search with the selected search engine.
Click the search engine icon and click "Change Search Settings" to open the Search tab in Options/Preferences (positioned between Tabs and Content) to select the default search engine and select which search engines to show in the search bar drop-down list that opens when you start typing search terms. -
The volume on my facetime goes out very frequently. I can hear the person just fine, but they can not hear me. I have checked my app store to see if there have been any updates to the version of facetime that I bought in May 2011 and it's not. Is there anything that I can do to fix this problem?
By the way it is not my speakers. I have used Google+ and Skype, and they both work just fine and the volume does not go out.Thanks, it seems that it doesn't like to play games, which is a bit of a bummer as i bought this specifically because it was capable of doing that. HP sent me two replacment cables because after using them once both when plugged in the 2nd time, gave me the screen saying i need to use the cable meant for the device. HP determined they needed to replace my unit and sent me a new one but after again using the cable once then plugging in again to charge and load new books, the unit gives me the screen about using the cable right for the device, I used all 4 cables I now have, all are not even a month old, I even tried the cable the came with the unit when I first bought it. HP now has no email or chat support and I cannot access my pad for my books including text books for college and my portfolio. can anyone help me??Only folks left here are volunteers, not employed by HP.

I have been using Firefox for months, but now when I click on the icon I cannot open a page. I tried downloading again but still get tnothing.
I can get on Explore just fine but I want to get back to using Mozilla Firefox.Nothing is worse than IE.
You can try the following:
Save your bookmarks.html in
%userprofile%\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\profiles\
Delete the whole content of the profiles-directory
Then create a new profile and start FF again. Now you can import your bookmarks.

USB is cranky, you're not the first (probably not the last) to have this happen. -
If you do a search on the web, you will discover that I am far from the only one who finds that she cannot use Firefox because it is incompatible with Windows 7 64 bit. I'm pretty sure there must be hundreds of thousands of users out there that can not use Firefox for the same reason. At what point are you thinking of updating your browser?
Also are you connected to Waterfox and is it safe?In device manager tick Show hidden devices, under view on the toolbar.
If DM cannot see it you cannot install a driver, not sure why that hardware will not get detected. -
I have been using Firefox for many years now and have been going to several sites on Firefox. Now, after an update around two days ago, I can't do anything with the sites. The cursor stays an arrow, and doesn't click anything. It's like a blank page with print on it.
I've tried almost everything, but to no avail. It's too much to copy and paste below.
Any ideas or help would be very much appreciated.

I'd try starting Firefox in [[Safe Mode]]. If you don't have the issue while all of your add-ons, extensions, and themes are disabled, you can try adding them back in one by one until you find the culprit. You should look at the [https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/Troubleshooting-extensions-themes Extensions and Themes troubleshooting guide ] and the [[Troubleshooting plugins]] article as well.
