I want to block some iMessages from appearing in my iPad

I have my Macbook, my iPad and my iPhone set up to sync iMessages between them. I love that. However, there are some people whose iMessages I do not wish to have come into my iPad.
I use my iPad at bedtime for reading and surfing. I do not need to receive text messages from everyone when I am in bed. However, my teen/adult children should still be able to text me if they need me. There are many texts that can wait until morning, but my kids will always be able to have access to their parents anytime of day or night. (I go to bed reeeeeallly early as I get up and run in the early morning).
Do not Disturb is not working for this. I've already tried that.
If I block someone, it is my understanding that they will be blocked across all my devices.
What can I do?

Some apps are iPad only, did you check?
While at it, check also the apps version as well as what devices are supported.

If the songs are downloaded into your iTunes library (i.e. they don't have the cloud icon against them) then you should be able to delete them by selecting them and pressing the delete button on your keyboard.
If they do have the cloud icon then they are in the cloud - you can turn off the showing of all icloud music via the 'Show iTunes in the Cloud Purchases' on the Store tab in iTunes > Preferences (command-comma), or you can hide individual tracks and/or albums so that they don't show in the cloud : iTunes Store: Hiding and unhiding purchases.

You're right, it would have been covered under warranty. But because of the user damage, chances are there's a 200-something dollar fee . If you explain to them that it had a defect previously, they might replace it for you at no charge. **MIGHT**. But they would have to believe that it had a defect previously.

Is there a way to disable previously viewed iMessages from appearing as Messages notifications when waking my MacBook Pro from sleep? Regardless of whether I am using iMessage from my iPhone or iPad, when I open my MBP, I get attacked by Messages notifications for iMessages I've obviously already seen or responded to. Is there a way to change this? Are others having this issue?
Additionally, previous iMessages sent or received from those devices sometimes don't populate into the Messages window on the MBP. I haven't been able to identify when or what causes this; sometimes it just doesn't seem to work (and I verified that the messages sent/received were, in fact, iMessages and not SMS).

First you need to determine what laptop model you have; then we can help you. A Mac Book Pro cannot run OS 9.1.
With your Mac booted up, click on the  at the far left of the menu. Then click on About This Mac. It will show what version of OS you are running. What is the version?
A MBP will be running something like version 10.x.
If you are running version OS 9.x, you don't have a Mac Book Pro.

Thank you for visiting Apple Support Communities.
The Safari, Email and Notes applications are native to the iOS and is unable to be deleted. Since this is the case, they are either in a folder on the iPhone, on another page or Restrictions are enabled. You can also search for these Apps on the iPhone by touching the screen and sliding your finger down. Here is some information regarding these features. I blocked some images from myspace by mistake. How can I unblock them?

I play a my space app called Hotties For Sale. I inadvertently blocked some images from the app. This includes operating buttons and some photos. The only info I can find is "Block images from x.myspacecdn.co... How do I get these images back? Can you help please?

With myspace on display, click on the site identity button (for details on what that is see the [[site identity button]] article) and then on More Information. This will open up the page info dialog.
First select the Permissions panel, make sure that "Load Images" is set to allow (selecting Use Default should also work)
Next select the Media panel, then click on the first item in the list. Use the down arrow key to scroll through the list. If any item has the option "Block images from (domain name)" selected, de-select the option.
This should hopefully resolve your issue, but also see [[Images or animations do not show]].
Some add-ons can also block images, for example if you have AdBlock Plus installed, make sure that you have not accidentally created a filter to block the images.

Sadly, as Call Bliss uses the built in Do Not Disturb feature, it requires that your screen be locked in order to function.

You need to plug your phone to your pc and then in itunes hit the photo tab and then sync the picture you want from your PC.
You can't do that process via the phone itunes.

I have an iPad 2 16GB with iOS 7.0.3 and Netflix version 5.0.2. I cannot watch netflix on an External LCD monitor that I have through VGA out. I use bluetooth speakers, so the AirPlay is going to that for Audio. Before this update, this combo worked without an issue.
So as of Friday Nov. 8/2013, I contacted Netflix support, and they said they fixed the problem on their end, and the fix is on the Apple side of things, and to contact Apple support.
So, I contacted Apple support, and the first person I spoke to said I would have to agree to pay a $35 fee for 30 days of support to this problem since my unit is out of warranty. I said this isn't a hardware issue, it's a software issue, and I'm not willing to pay to fix a problem you created. So I got a Senior Level advisor on the line, and she was helpful, and she's looking into the issue for me and said she'll contact me sometime on Tuesday or Wednesday (Nov. 12 or 13) to let me know of the issue.
Here's the thing: this is a combination of Netflix and iOS not working correctly with any of the Apple Authorized Dongles. This is truly a code error that some hot shot programmer had major oversight on, and their management didn't catch it either. There was no reason for Netflix to rush to get this Netflix update going until Apple sorted out the bugs in iOS 7.
Anyway, if I hear anything from Donna (the advisor), I'll post it and let you guys know. In the mean time, good luck!
