Hello,
I deleted all of the pictures in iphone because there are no available space anymore.
So I connected the iphone to my PC, and opened iPhone > Internal Storage > DCIM folder, and just delete every pics in there.
When I launched Photo app on iphone, there is nothing, beautiful, clear, no problem.
BUT on the PC, "Internal Storage" is still full without any change!
Then I found it's full of ".AAE" files, every sub folders.
Is it a bug on iOS8? I've never seen this before.
I want to delete these AAEs perfectly.
Please help me. Thank you!

Without reformating my Zen Vision:M how do I erase all the music files from the player. I have found that even though I have approx. 0 gig of music on my computer the Zen tells me that I have 9 gig. I want to remove all the music files and re-sync with the pc. I have also fixed a great deal of the "unkown albums" on my computer to have the names and art so I don't want to duplicate the music. Oh and I would like to be able to do this without reloading the firm ware. THANKS!!

You should be able to use Zen Media Explorer to do this. Just use it like Windows Explorer: highlight the albums (folders) you want to delete, hit delete and it should take them off the player (may take some time).

Sync is only oneway, from PC to your device. Unless you have the music on your PC, iTunes is going to wipe out what you have on your device if you are syncing to a new library.
You can only transfer Purchased music over to Itunes on your PC.

My imovie seems to have completely crashed... and I'm hoping someone can help me. I have moved all my projects and events to a folder on my desktop. I've deleted all the plist files I can find and I still cannot get it to open.

Please help... it seems all is lost as all I kind find on this subject seem to lead to nowhere. My engagement was on imovie, a school project, several videos of our son. You will have to hold my hand through this process... as I am not very good at this type of thing. Yes this can be many things - and I can only guess/suggest.
A. a very common origin to make the Mac un-happy is to - PANIC-HALT - when the round multicolored thing appear.
So much can go wrong by doing this - and if done often problem builds up that can result in a real disaster.
B. NEVER - move or alter any folder named - iMovie Event's resp. iMovie Project's - as iMovie has no search function - moving them results in that iMovie get's 100% lost.
One can move them - but this HAS TO BE done within the iMovie application (as it is up and running)
C. preference files - there are TWO or more Libraries on Your Mac. First and easy to find is the one You see when opening Your Start-Up Hard Disk window = Root Library == the WRONG ONE
What we need to find is the one in Your User-Account folder (icon as a house) - and this is in Mac OS X.7, X.8 and X.9 HIDDEN. To see it do:
( It can be done like this: Open Terminal, then enter:
chflags nohidden ~/Library
Press return, then restart, and it will always be visible until the next major update, when you do the same thing again. )
or - do like this.
On the Finder window at the top left of the screen,
Hold down the Option key and clicked on Go.
This allowed You to see the Library folder and select it.
Then keep the Option button pressed down in order to see and select the Library folder.
Once found it, You are able to navigate to the iMovie preferences file and move it to the trash. iMovie then start’s up fine!
Now here in Your User Library - find Preferences and trash
com.apple.iMovie.plist
com.apple.iMovie3.plist
com.apple.iMovie7.plist
com.apple.iMovie8.plist
com.apple.iMovie9.plist
com.apple.iMovieApp.plist
and find
com.apple.iApps.plist
While iMovie is NOT RUNNING - move this/these file/s out on to desk-top.
Now restart iMovie.
I Prefere another way to find out if this is the problem.
(after all folders (iMovie Event/Projects are moved into original place)
• go up to Apple Menu
• Down to System Pref's
• Select Accounts - Create a new User
• Go down the Apple menu - Log OUT
• Log into as the new User
Now try iMovie
Does it work at all ? (Yes You don't see Events or Projects in Your original Account just now)
If so - Then we know that there is a corrupted pref file to be trashed.
Else - the problem are much more severe.
D. After Panic Halt / Forced Quit - I always do -. to keep disasters on arms length.
• Repair Permissions (Apple Disk Util tool)
• Start from other HD or DVD - then run Repair Hard Disk (Apple Disk Util tool)

I lost a file with a lot of songs on it and it can't be retrieved. How can I delete all the song titles with broken links at once without having to delete 500 songs one at a time?

One way to identify the broken links in your library is to create this set of playlists:
Lost & Found playlists
Create a playlist called Found, select everything in Music and drag it into the Found playlist. Create a smart playlist called Lost matching All the rules Playlist is Music and Playlist is not Found. Your lost tracks will be in this playlist. They can be deleted with CTRL+A then SHIFT+DELETE.
Or use iTunes Folder Watch and enable its option to check for dead tracks on startup.

I have like 1500 songs and only want like 700 of them

You can select some files in iTunes then right click consolidate.
Then delete the original files not in the iTunes media folder.
This way you don't have to do it all at once.
Note that when you add files to iTunes, they are copied into the iTunes media folder so anything you added in the past is already in the iTunes media folder. Consolidating wont do anything to those. Likely all you need to do is delete the original.

3) I downloaded AI, but I get the message that my trial version of AI has expired and that I should purchase AI

1)I purchased a license for Adobe Illustrator CC (and my expired trial version was for Adobe Illustrator CC)
2) I am using Mac OSX, 10.7.5
3) I just removed the previous installation with disable / remove Illustrator CC from the files programs

Deleting pictures from iPad 2. When I trasnfer pics from iPad to PC using Windows Photo Gallery import I am given the opportunity to delete them off the iPad BUT only ALL of them.

This must be done from your computer...
In iTunes, select the device icon in the Devices list on the left. Click the Photos tab in the resulting window.
Choose "Sync photos from."
On a Mac, choose iPhoto or Aperture from the pop-up menu.
On a Windows PC, choose Photoshop Album or Photoshop Elements from the pop-up menu.
Choose "Selected albums" and deselect the albums or collections you want to delete.
Click Apply
Or... once copied to the PC, use the ipad to delete individual photos.

I'm trying to sync my iPhone 5 with my new macbook pro and im trying to back it up and then start from scratch with no pictures or music on it. but it isnt letting me do so. i have no boxes ticked, andi am doing everything the same way i would normally do it on my old microsoft computer. but it doesnt seem to be working. the pictures on my phone stay on there and they also back up to ym computer. i dont want to have to sit and go through my whole camera roll deleting my pictures. please will someone help me with my query as im getting rather frustrated at trying and constantly failing. if anyone could help id be very grateful. as you can tell im a beginner to the whole macbook, but ive had an iphone for ages and never had this problem on my microsoft computer. thanks in advance

So you do not want to keep any of the pictures you took with your iPhone 5?
Settings > General > Usage - Photos & Camera.
Swipe across Camera roll then tap Delete.
