I cannot answer regarding compatibility, but there is no download available for PSE6 if you would need one for this. You might be able to copy the installation files from a disk to some other removable media that the machine accepts. Upgrading to PSE7 would not be possible mainly because Adobe does not sell older versions of their software.

I want to install Photoshop to my external hard drive ?

I want to install Photoshop 11 to my external hard drive (E:\) because my operating system hard drive (C:\) is too full. I can get to the screen where it allows me to install to the default location, or change it to another location (which I do, changing it to the same file names, except on the E:\ drive). Then it takes me to the next screen and says C:\ doesn't have enough room, but it also shows the E:\ drive, however it won't allow me to select E:\ from there. Am I doing something wrong, or will it just not save to E:\ without the room on C:\? Thank you in advance for any advice.

Oh, also, I wanted to add, I have an interchangeable hard drive/CD drive but I can't have them both in at the same time as they use an interchangeable port. Is there a way to enter all of the information from the CD temporarily, switch out the CD drive for the hard drive, then install it on the hard drive? Or, finally, is it possible to enter my CD codes on Adobe's website and download an online version? Thanks (again).

It depends partly on what media you have the CS3 file in to be able to install it and partly on the system characteristics of the new PC. If you do not have disks, then you will need to download the installation file from a site that provides trial version. It is possible CS3 will not install depending on the system.

I already tried every step on the support site, but Photoshop, Indesign and Illustrator still don't work. So this is an S.O.S. here...

I've repaired many a 150:30 error using this method. First make sure your account is an Administrator type.
When you type sudo <space> and drag LicenseRecover.py into the Terminal window, this is what you should see when you press Enter.
Type in your admin password if any, and let the script run and finish.

yes, you can deactivate (help>deactivate) and uninstall.
you do/did not even need to have pse 9 installed before installing your ps12 upgrade. if it's not installed you will be prompted for the pse 9 serial number.

You can check you Adobe account online to see if the serial number is registered under your account. If not then your only option will likely be to contact Adobe Support directly thru chat to see if they can provide you with a/the serial number. For them to do so will require you being able to prove ownership.

It is probably because the software is too old to install/use on your new machine. Look at the files on the disk and see if there are any there that you might try to use to initiate installation.

Installing Photoshop CC and Lightroom from Photoshop Phototgraphy Program

I already own and have installed Photoshop CS6 and Lightroom 5.3 on my computer. Do I need to uninstall these before installing the creative cloud versions or can I just leave them there?

I have the same problem, I could install Photoshop CC, Bridge CC but I couldn't install Lightroom. The Creative Cloud Window tells me that Lightroom is installed on my machine. I don't want to uninstall Lightroom before I start the installation of Lightroom from the Creative Cloud.
How is the way to do this. I have found no option to do this.

Our company has a team plan and I was recently added to the plan. I installed photoshop and illustrator on one computer but I want to install on a 2nd company laptop. But when I am logging in with the company email in the 2nd computer it says install photoshop and illustrator but after install it says start trial. How to solve this issue?

Gear Icon in Creative Cloud Application > Preferences > Account > Log Out and then log-out. Next could you please log-in again using the CCTeams e-mail? ( Same e-mail as the invitation was send to you )
Please make sure your using the same AdobeID as you CC for Teams.

I had restored my OS X 10.3 on an external hardrive with fire wire from my girlfriend iBook .now i want to put the OS X 10.3 on my ibook because it had an older OS(9.2) so i conect the hard drive to my ibook and i went to the start dissk menu and i chosed to start from the hard disk so it restated and then appers to me the apple logo and thats it.....nothing more,i left it for more then half houre but nothing happend so is there anything that iam missing?....by the way i restoerd the OS X 10.3 through the disk ultiltiy aplecation

You have Panther installed on an external FW HDD from your girlfriend's iBook.
You want to install (copy/clone) Panther from the external FW HDD to your iBook, and are having problems.
Are there original Panther install disks somewhere? On which computer is it installed?
Unless you have a multi-user pack the software was installed under a single user license agreement which says, in part:This License allows you to install and use one copy of the Apple Software on a single computer at a time. This License does not allow the Apple Software to exist on more than one computer at a time...In other words, as long as the OS is running on one computer, it is illegal to install it on another.
