GOing bananas trying to play an episode from channel 7 in Perth. Tryed using Photon for flash and ads play but not main event. Get a message not available in your region.
HOw can I catch up with my favorite programs? Tv station recommends I change my IP address but I don't know how to do that or to change it to what. Love some ideas. Thanks, Lou

I am wondering if it possible to manually create a node in RSA6 for the InfoSet. I tried it by doing the following:
I went to RSA6 and clicked on the white icon for "Create Node". I then entered the number "8", followed by the name of the InfoSet. (I entered an "8", because all our DataSources seem to start with an "8". I'm not sure why.)
The DataSource now shows up, but when I double-click on it, nothing happens. When I select it in the hierarchy and then click the icons for "Display" or "Change" or "Check", I just get an error message that says, "You have not selected any DataSources."
Also, do you know where I can get my hands on the white paper?

Account is a user neame and password with which you purchase content.
A library is your collection of media.

Trying to update apps but keep getting message that my Apple ID can't be used to purchase from the iTunes store but it works on my iPhone & computer?

OS is 5.1.1 but it says no updates available. I've had the iPod for a few years but if I remember right it's 3rd Gen. Model #MC011C. I have no problems purchasing or updating apps on my iPhone, and I went to iTunes in my computer and purchased a song just to see if I could, and didn't have any problem. And I have tons of memory left on the iPod.

I went to the App Store app and selected "Updates" along the bottom menu. It said 11 updates were available. I then chose "Update All." Before any updates could begin, the message popped up that "This Apple ID cannot be used to make purchases from the iTunes Store." That popped up twice, then the same message with, "Please enter another Apple ID" added. I tried 3 separate times (getting all 3 pop-up messages each time). I then tried updating apps via the App store app on my iPhone 4 and it worked fine. Then I signed into the iTunes store on my computer and bought a song (thankfully one I like ) and that worked fine. I tried on my iPod one more time before finally coming here to post a question.
A few minutes after posting my question (and the reason I came back here, not knowing I'd received an answer) I thought I'd try one more time. This time, it worked with no problem and all the apps updated. So I don't know if somehow my purchasing something in iTunes on my computer helped, or creating this community ID did, or if it was just some temporary glitch. Whatever it was, it's working now. Hopefully it doesn't happen again.

I am trying to download photos to mac from iphone 4s and keep getting message (unreadable files:315) which I say (OK). Then it throws me out of downloading. What can I do to get my photos downloaded to Mac?

Trying to download photos from iphone 4S to a MacBook Pro. The process keeps getting interrupted/stopped with a notice (unreadable files:315). When I click (OK), thinking it will download all other photos other than the 315, it stops downloading. I did this thru Image Capture and also Import Photos in iPhotos. Both did not work. What can I do?

Try:
- Try another cable.
- Try another USB port
- Inspect the dock connector on the iPod for bent or missing contacts, foreign material, corroded contacts, broken, missing or cracked plastic.
If still problem then it appears the photo files on the iPod are corrupted or you have a hardware problem with the iPod

If the site is down it should say something like "server not responding" shouldn't it, or if the ISP had the forsight and sense to set it up right it should redirect to another site or page somewhere that says, Sorry this site is down for whatever reason and when it might be back up. Access denied seems like a funny message to get.
Also ... one has to wonder why Arianna Huffington who presumably lives in CA is hosting the HP from New York?

I think I have the latest Firefox version, but keep getting messages about updating it. 1 says something is preventing Firefox from updating securely; another says something is trying to trick Firefox into accepting an unsecure update. What's going on?

The 1st message goes on to say, "Please make sure that you have the latest version of Firefox from http://www.firefox.com." Assuming 4.0.1 is the latest version, it seems this is a bogus message and I haven't clicked on the link.
The 2nd message goes on to say something like, "if this continues [the attempt to trick Firefox into accepting an unsecure update], contact your network administrator."
I started getting the messages on all 4 of our PC's (2 desktops running Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit, 1 running XP 32-bit, & a laptop running Vista Home Basic 64-bit) after updating to Firefox 4.0 on them. I manually updated to 4.0.1 on all thinking that would stop the messages, but it hasn't.
I loaded & ran free versions of McAfee Stinger, Malwarebytes Anti-Malware, and Super Anti-Spyware programs on all our PCs; each program found & repaired some infected files on each computer, but the messages continue on all.

Apparently this occurs when Firefox has problems with security certificates. There have been a few questions about this. I will try to get advice about this.
Apparently you are using Internet Explorer 9 (From your system details). Do you have Google Updater plugin installed on Firefox ?
(That been implicated in this sort of problem by one poster, and some users with the problem do have Google Updater, but some do not)

I was not complete clear.
Since you never changed the settings in the advanced section of iTunes preferecnes, you have to chech that your music is really in the location setted in the folders reported in the advanced section. If not you have 2 ways: reset the position of this folders or in the actual disk organisation or in the pointing on the preferences.
If you press the reset button you just give to itunes its default setting as for the position of the music files: probably this will be a good choice if you have never changed any default preference.
But before I would check the folders and see if the songs are really there

Yes, if you have an appleTV it would be easier. WIthout airplay, you can use APP called BEAMER, beam any video file to your AppleTV hooked to you TV set.
It would stream more smoothly if you put each video file as you go onto the Mac from the HD, and erase after youre done watching same.

that used to happen to me all the time! I would recommend going to a different sight or attempting to download it again ( you may have missed a step it can be tricky).

Exactly what program is throwing that request message?
Does that message list any details, such as WHAT will be written/saved to your computer?
As ATR mentions, I am not sure how PrE figures into the mix. I would anticipate that your message is coming from FaceBook, or from the OS, or from your anti-virus/anti-malware program.
Regardless, be VERY wary of any program, or Web site, that wants to write to your computer, unless you have delibertly invoked something that you DO want to do so.

All content from iTunes is tied to the account that bought/downloaded it, and it can't currently be transferred to a different account. If you don't know the account's password nor it's security questions (http://iforgot.apple.com), then you could try contacting iTunes support and see if they can help you get access to it : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page

That suggests the track is damaged.
If your country's iTunes Store allows you to redownload purchased tracks, I'd delete your current copy of the track and try redownloading a fresh one. See the following document for instructions:

Otherwise, I'd report the problem to the iTunes Store.
Log in to the Store. Click on "Account" in your Quick Links. When you're in your Account information screen, go down to Purchase History and click "See all".
Find the item that is not playing properly. If you can't see "Report a Problem" next to the item, click the "Report a problem" button. Now click the "Report a Problem" link next to the item.
