I want to post my iPad from Australia to the US but Australia Post will not accept it because they say it has a lithium battery and cannot be put on an airplane. Is the battery in it a lithium battery?

I need to post my iPad from Australia to the USA but Australia Post is refusing to do it because they say the lithium battery in the iPad mini will be detrimental in the aircraft. Does anyone know if the iPad mini DOES have a lithium battery? The alternative is to use FedEx which will be too expensive.

Sorry for the long title -- I am new to this forum.
This should be SIMPLE -- just trying to get old Mac G4 desktop to print on directly attached (USB) HP Laserjet 1020.
Several online sources say the HP drivers for Laserjet 1022 work fine ...
I deleted all printers, installed the HP drivers (all prompts indicate it is installed fine), re-connected the printer by USB. OSX recognizes the printer and auto-populates its name in the Name: box, puts "desktop" in the Location: field ... and the Print Using: field is gray, saying "Please select a driver or printer model"
I click the arrow to expand options, choose Other ... and get a selection box for identifying the driver. I open the folder with the PKG file and click it ... and then find myself back at the printer setup with the the Print Using: field still gray, and still saying "Please select a driver or printer model."
I have tried this process a half-dozen times with re-starts in between --- cannot get past this sticking point -- aargh !
Any advice would be welcome. Thank you !

Safe Boot , (holding Shift key down at bootup), it will try to repair your Disk Directory while the spinning radian is happening, so let it go, run Disk Utility in Applications>Utilities, then highlight your drive, click on Repair Permissions.

Okay this is what fixed my problem. Some kind of error/glitch occured half-way through importing that third cd that prevented further imports from any other cd. Once I completely removed the half-imported cd album from my library I could further import cd's without any problems.

I had trouble with a iTunes download. Two songs of an album were not complete. I contacted iTunes and yawl post the the download again. My iTunes now has the complete copies. The trouble is my iPhone will not accept/sync the complete copies. What up?

- Are you saying that they are not listed in your Purchased section?
Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store
- Are they listed in your Puchases history when you log into your account on your computer?
- Are they still available now for purchase? If not then you are out of luck

Launch iTunes with the iPad connected to your computer.
Select the iPad under Devices in the source list left side of the iTunes window.
Select the Summary tab from the menu.
Deselect: Sync with this iPad over Wi-Fi
Quit then relaunch iTunes.

restore your app from the trash and then properly uninstall.
if that fails, CC desktop lists applications as "Up to Date" when not installed

You would have to restore the iPhone. Download the latest version of iTunes and then follow the steps in the article below to get it working again.

if your MacBook Pro doesn’t stay active long enough to perform an OS X Internet Recovery, then you should make an appointment at your nearest Apple store or Apple-authorized service provider to have them diagnose what’s ailing it.

My iPad demands that I sign into iMessage. It will not accept my password and will not allow anything else to operate.

My iPad began by demanding I sign into iCloud. (I had recently changed my Apple account password.) I entered the password and then iMessage demanded my password for the same account. Since the serial number provided was correct, the download started and completed. Once installed the system started to install the software. Again I had to supply the serial number. This time the system will NOT accept the serial number. I entered it again. Not accepted. I tried it again, this time with dashes. Again the serial number is not accepted. What do I do?
