Thank you. The troubleshooting guide online suggest resetting network settings and I did a restore to factory default. Since then I was able to receive another text message from the sender and it worked fine. He also left a voice mail message (several) and I'm not able to retrieve those either. Thank you so much for responding.

Is the camera damaged? Could be a hardware problem.
Try:
Close the Camera app in the multitasking bar, then try again.
Restart/Reset/Restore your iPod. In that order.

Stop the "thank you; your message has been sent"

I have a interview handler/voicemail account setup to gather information from customers. I wanted to add my own closing statement instead of the standard "thank you; your message has been sent"; I added a call handler to play my own greeting and then configured the interview handler to transfer to the call handler and then hang up, but before it gets to the call handler, it still plays the "thank you...". How can I stop that from playing?

That prompt is actually associated with the message recording converation which is used by call handlers, subscriber and interviewers - you can't turn off the prompt for just one specific interview handler.
You can turn it off system wide by replacing the promot in question with a silent (empty) prompt, but this would then remove that prompt in all cases where a message recording was terminated.

Check your system preferences.
My copy of flash installed as a preferance pane.
If its there you will be able to check the current installed version and set preferences for flash and updating.

I changed my rescue ID and want to use my former rescue ID as my new apple ID, but it won't let me as it still says that email is my resuce ID, even though the new rescue ID email has been verified! Help!

My apple ID is associated with an old email I never use. My current email was set as my rescue email, so I could not make that my new Apple ID. I have changed my rescue email to another email address and verified it, but when I now try to update my apple ID it still says I cannot use that email address becuase it's my rescue email address, even though it is not. HELP!

That usually means it's associated with another ID or used somewhere else.

I am having trouble uploading am iPhoto book that I created. It keeps concluding the upload by saying there has been an error and would I like to retry it or cancel. After four "retrys" , I'm in need of some advise.

I need some help probem solving as to why my I photo book won't upload to be printed by Apple. It keeps saying there is an error at the very end of the upload and asks me if I want to retry or cancel. Considering the hours spent creating the book and the fact that I can't transfer it to a different file, I seem to be stuck. Ideas?

What version of iPhoto and of the OS? Is the print products country in the advanced iPhoto preferences set correctly ?

Why is my Ipad telling me a message has been delivered but my Iphone is not?

I sent an Imessage. Both my Iphone and my Ipad are connected to my apple ID. When I send a message to one particular number, I get a delivered message at the bottom of the text on my Ipad, but my Iphone shows the message with nothing underneath it?
Is the message delivered or not? And why is are both devices telling me different things for the same message?

If I understand correctly you are seeing in Messages that your, well, messages are being sent, but the receiving party does not actually get them. I would recommend these troubleshooting steps from the following article:

If the issue occurs with a specific contact or contacts, back up or forward important messages and delete your current messaging threads with the contact. Create a new message to the contact and try again.
If the issue occurs with a specific contact or contacts, delete and recreate the contact in the Contacts app. Create a new message to the newly created contact and try again.

I have a user on an iMac 10.6 connected to our domain. She uses Outlook web access for email on our exchange server. Last week she received the following message which is randomly preventing her from sending emails. She claims no attachment was involved in the original email when this all started. I have not been able to look at her account as she is out of the office but maybe someone else dealt with this issue. I realize this may not be Mac related but thought I'd give it a try. She did say it occurred once over two days while working on a PC but it continued over the past weekend.

This is because F-Secure Anti-Virus for Microsoft Exchange has detected a virus in the attachment. If the user tries to send the message again, the message will be sent but without the attachment. PS - have found other posts indicating that clips smaller than 2s or sometimes 5s, or "short files" can cause this. Modern style editing often uses short takes ! Good grief I cannot believe Apple. Well I deleted a half a dozen short sections and can export, but now of course the video is a ruined piiece of junk and I need to re-do the whole thing, the sound etc. which is basically taking as much time as the original. And each time I re-do it I risk again this lovely error -50 and again trying to figure out what thing bugs it via trial and error instead of a REASONABLE ERROR MESSAGE POINTING TO THE CLIP IT CAN'T PROCESS. I HATE this iMovie application - full of BUGS BUGS BUGS which Apple will not fix obviously, since I had this product for a few years and see just hundreds of hits on Google about this error with disappointed users. When sending from one mac email account to another email account on the mac it seems to send fine, and it moves to the sent items, but nothing appears in the mac inbox.
When sending from a mac account to the pc, it seems to send fine, and it moves to the sent items, but nothing appear in the PC inbox.
When sending a massage from the PC to my mac email, it send fine from the PC and arrives in the inbox on the mac.
