I was in the middle of watching a movie rental from iTunes on my Apple TV and it shut off the movie and took me directly to the main menu. Now the movie doesn't even show up on my iTunes account. How do I get back to the movie?
Now when I try to re-rent the movie on iTunes a message pops up saying, "You already purchased this item. Go to Settings --> Downloads." Every time I do this There is not button that says "Downloads." Please help.
Mac responded to my question, they didn't download automatically into my library, they were still in the purchased section of the itunes store and i downloaded it from there. Thanks

How do you know they won't run in Yosemite? You're not trying to fiddle with stuff in your backup from the Finder, are you? If so you are likely to render that backup unusable.
WHen when you restore them from your backup, they should be updateable. -

From your backups. By doing a clean install you erased your startup volume. You may have installed OS X, but your personal software was erased. You can restore from backups if your have them. If not, then you've lost it all, permanently.

My IPod was dead and I hooked it up to my computer it had the charging symbol but when it was charged up enough to turn its self on it stopped charging and my computer doesn't even read that it is hooked in I tried another chord and still doesn't work I would like to send it in but I do not know what Information I need to do so can some one please help me It was also a gift to me for christmas last year and she bought it in December I was wandering some one told me that Ipod touches have atleast a 1 year warranty with Apple and if it gets replaced can they put what pictures that are on it on the new one If you know the answers or at least one please please help I would be very appreciative. thank you

How to use your iPod to move your music to a new computer

My I phone was connected to my desktop to upload pictures, magically I tune activated and synced all my phone data and notes. I don't have Itune account.
This happened because you had not disabled automatic syncing in iTunes (so your phone synced when you connected it to your computer). If you haven't synced again since this happened you may be able to restore your phone to the backup created at the beginning of the sync process to recover your data. (If you have synced again the backup is already overwritten and your data is lost). To do this do the following:
Without connecting your phone, open iTunes on your computer and go to Preferences. On the Devices tab check "Prevent...from syncing automatically".
Now connect your phone and import your photos if you haven't already done so (see http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4083).
Now open iTunes and right-click on the name of your phone on the left side and select Transfer Purchases (to transfer any recent purchases to your iTunes library prior to restore from backup).
Right-click on the name of your phone again and select Restore from Backup, choose your most recent backup to restore from.
When complete, you can go back to iTunes>Preferences>Devices and re-enable automatic syncing. -

If possible, I suggest changing to a credit card.
1) There is a max $50 in stolen dollars.
2) It is easy to dispute a charge. You call the credit card company. Complain. They call the retailer & refund you the money.

1st time, bought audiobook from iTunes store - how do I get it on the iPod?
Just to try it, I bought Hemmingway's 'Old Man And The Sea' I've never read, just to see if I could try it on the iPod in my car as I spend so many hours in traffic.
The book downloaded, it is in the 'audiobooks' tab in my iTunes, but when I plug in my iPod there is nothing, it says my iPod is up to date, there is not even a tab at the top of the screen that says 'audiobooks' only music, music videos, movies and a few others which I have checked all option menus on.
How do I load this book onto the iPod? Do I have the wrong iPod model? it is a new 5.5 30G Video.Do you have your iPod set up so that it syncs only certain playlists, or do you manually manage your playlists? If it's the former, then you will need to create a playlist of that audiobook. You'll then see that playlist on the list (see under Music). Choose the playlist and then sync.
I have a 1G Nano (4GB) and I have mine set up to sync with certain playlists, since otherwise if I had automatic sync with all my music, there'd be no room. I purchased many audiobooks and have followed the same steps I outlined above, with great results.
If you have your iPod set up as "automatically manage my music," then the audiobook should already be in your iPod, under Music-->Audiobooks (mine shows up at the bottom). In fact, all your audiobooks should show up here.
