I was on a secure site because of the little lock in the right hand corner, now that I've installed this new version I don't have the lock any longer. What happened to the locket and how do I know if the site is safe for me to use a credit card on?

What "app cleaner software" ? I ask because installing Photoshop over a previous version has never been a problem. Perhaps your difficulty stems from another source, eg. "cleaner software" ?
If you look in your hard drive, at the root level there is a Library. In there is a folder called Application Support, and in that you will find a folder called Adobe. Files from your previous version are there.
However, I urge you to call Adobe support to make sure you are not doing anything that would mess up other Adobe applications.

I have a UK apple mac and im trying to use mirroring so when searching google, ebay, writting document it shows up on my tv but i dont have the option of 'Mirroring' when i click on the rectangular box in lower right hand corner. Anyone have advice on how I can do this?

I have had an eMac for a few years. I don't know any of the specs. Every time I try to download or install a new version of itunes or OS I get any number of error messages and cannot complete. Help!!!!

Read the steps carefully as the order in which you follow them is critical. Note that you can do this only when creating a new Apple ID. You cannot use an existing ID.
You will of course not be able to get anything other than the free apps, iTunes U content or podcasts without entering in some sort of payment method (credit card, prepaid iTunes card, gift certificate, etc.)

I just got my iPod back it about a week ago. It's been about 5 months? I don't have the computer I first synced it on due to the fact the whole thing just broke on me. So I can't restore it that way. On top of that I don't remember any type of passcode/word I had it's just been awhile. I don't have much money to go to Apple if they do charge me to reset it...really I don't have money at all to pay for anything like that. Is there any other way I could reset the whole iPod and start over? Can anyone help me?

Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased.

hello rkhpci, yes firefox should automatically update every six weeks (or between if there's a critical security update). in the past this might not have worked when you had a restricted user account.
please download the newest firefox version for your system and language from https://www.mozilla.org/firefox/all/ and install it on top of your current installation. this will keep all your bookmarks, customizations and so on... -
After installing new version, I don't have the firefox button feature.
I don't have the orange firefox button to allow me to see all of my menu options. I am running XP.
Usually you have either the orange Firefox button or the classic menu bar, but not both at the same time.
You should be able to switch back and forth this way:
If the classic menu bar is not displayed, tap the Alt key to display it and then use
View > Toolbars > Menu Bar
to make it persistent. It should replace the orange Firefox button. To switch back, uncheck
View > Toolbars > Menu Bar
Does that work??

Having had recently a problem with my credit card with itunes (the only place I ever used that particular card), and several fraudulent charges, I no longer wish to give my credit card information to itunes or any other apple outfit. Can we pay for icloud by cheque, or money order, or some other way, perhaps a bank account where I would leave just enough money to cover the payment. This would be the only I would pay for icloud. I have a 2006 iMac that I've upgraded to each new os as they came out. I just wiped it (for the kids to use, I have a new iMac with Mavericks) and reintalled Tiger from the original discs. I want to get it back to Lion - which I purchased from the Mac App Store. But Tiger doesn't have the App Store and I don't have the discs anymore from the intermediate versions. I tried downloading Lion from the new iMac but it's not available...
Any ideas?To get to the App Store, you need to upgrade the Tiger machine to Snow Leopard.

Our old computer crashed which had all the kids ipod touch library on it. Now when I try to connect them to new computer it says I need to erase all data, apps, etc. to sync with new computer. It is saying that it can only be connected to one library at a time. Is their anyway around this without having ot erase all their stuff?

- Transfer other music by using a third-party program like on of those discussed here:

- Connect the iPod to the computer and make a backup by right clicking on the iPod under Devices in iTunes and select Back Up
- Restore the iPod from that backup.
Note that the iPod backup that iTunes makes does not included synced media like apps and music.
