I tried to upload songs to my iphone from itunes but will not play the music. it appears to be on my iphone but I cannot click on the song?? I tried deleting the songs from my iphone too try again but it will not work!

The songs seemed to not uploaded properly as it won't allow me to click on them. I tried swipe and delete but delete won't appear!

I've authorized my iPhone on a Mac but when I go to play videos it asks for authorization again, only to tell me that I have authorized too many computers. Help!

So I used my work Mac to authorize my iPhone so I can play music, but now that I want to play a movie it asks for authorization. I've already authorized that account! I don't understand why it's asking for authorization again when I want to play a movie. Plus, I can't access the iTunes store from my work computer, so I'm stuck until I go home to deauthorize my other computers. Why is this happening?

Authorization does not apply to iphones. Authorization is for computers.

Actually, you cannot download Snow Leopard. You downloaded a Snow Leopard updater.

At some stage is is likely to have been connected to another computer's iTunes. It is now linked to that computer's library and iPhones can only be associated to one library at a time. Linking to a different one requires wiping the phone.
If you used the phone with another computer you owned you can transfer the iTunes library from that computer to this one and the phone will still be syncing with the same library it was before.
If all there is on the phone are items which can be backed up to iTunes and purchases which can be transferred you could do that, then wipe the phone and sync them back.

Then you need to change the store that you bought the apps from - correct?
Go to the featured tab of the App Store and tap on your ID at the bottom. Tap View Apple ID. Enter your password. Go to Country/Region and change it to the correct store.

I downloaded an app and it said that it couldn't b/c it required a newer version of Ipod software.

I downloaded an app for my daughter and when I went to install it, it said that it couldn't be installed because it required a newer version of software. So, I went and checked the software for both iTunes and her iPod touch. It said that both were the latest versions. So, what do I do now? My experience is that you may have the latest software update for your ipod touch but some apps only work with the newest ipods. A nice little way to keep people buying the newest latest thing right? It usually tells you that it's not compatible with the ipod before you download it but I also only use free apps. It wouldn't surprise me if they let you pay for it before you found out. At this point I don't think I would be trying to figure out how to make it work. I would be looking for a refund or on the phone with them demanding they walk you through whatever it takes to get it working. I hate that your daughter can't use the app she really wanted. I had the same problem with a Nook. I bought one that turned out not to let you download or play games. My daughter was really disappointed. On the bright side, she took her points and bought books and is reading a lot more. I hope you have a positive outcome in all of this. I hope this helps.

I called Apple Support and they walked me through it. They told me to basically copy and paste my music to the external hard drive. (I think.) Or maybe it was they had me transfer a folder to the EHD. I don't exactally remember it was a few years back. But I tried to plug in the EHD before starting and...nothing. Still says same thing, "locate file."
