I was using Firefox 4, which had the google toolbar and I accidentally updated to firefox 5, which does not have the toolbar and without the toolbar, I feel handicapped using the browser. Is there any way I can go back to Firefox 4??...Pls urgent...

I am a medical transcriptionist. I was using Firefox 4 and without knowing that Firefox 5 does not support Google Toolbar I updated it. Searching in google is a integral part of my job and without the Toolbar I feel handicapped using Firefox 5. You can say that there is no need for toolbar in firefox 5 as the address bar doubles as toolbar, but I find it very difficult using it. I uninstalled Firefox 5 and try installing Firefox 4 version, but I am not able to. So, I have uninstalled Firefox 4 completely. So, pls advise if there is a way for me to get back my Firefox 4. Tx in advance for your help.

No, reordering within folders and albums is not supported. the yare arranged automatically by date. I found this, but I have not used any of the apps besides iPhone. You might check the descriptions to see if they do what you need.

My history was set on 50 steps in Photoshop CC, since I never needed more than 50... Until yesterday, when my school asked to see all my work. Now I need to trace back all of my steps. Is there any way I can recover all of them? or at least a few more than 50?

It is a major disappointment, particularly visually, and would love to get back to the more user friendly ios6 on my iPad. Last time I experienced a similar disappointment was when I tested the new Microsoft 8. In that case I was luckily able to stick to the previous operating system.

You can have the iWork '09 apps be the default but still have the new apps installed. After I installed the new iWork updates I created a folder on an external drive & named it "other applications." I then moved the new iWork apps to this folder. I have icons for two versions of Pages & Numbers (I rarely use Keynote) in my Dock. Even with two versions of Pages running, double-clicking an existing file opens in Pages 4.3.

My history is no longer showing up in the history menu, is there any way I can it back?

When I click on the history menu it used to show all my history but a few days it stopped doing that.

Safari > Preferences > Extensions
Turn those off and relaunch Safari again.
Turn those on one by one and test.
Delete safari .plist file.
Quit all applications. Click on an empty spot on the desktop to activate Finder.
Hold the “Option” key down and click the "Go" menu in the Finder menu bar.
Select “Library” from the drop down.
Library > Preferences > com.apple.Safari.plist
Right click it and select "Move to Trash". Close Finder window.
Please don’t empty the Trash.
Restart. Launch Safari
If this doesn’t help, right click the Trash icon in the Dock and select “Open”.
Right click the com.apple.Safari.plist and select “Put Back”.

I just installed IO 5.01., went through the configuration process, resynced with iTunes but now I can't get the ipad out of the configuration mode. O' on PC with XP home, SP3 installed. What am I doing wrong? Is there any way I can revert back to IO 4?

The first time I synced with the ipad I did go through "restore" from iTunes. The other options on the screen were "restore from iCloud" and "new ipad".
How do I do a restore now? With the ipad attached? Everytime I connect and disconnect the ipad to the cable, even with reboot, it takes me back to the same grey iPad configuration screen. Do I need to do a hard reset?

You can't download pictures from iCloud by logging into icloud.com. If you deleted pictures from camera roll AND photo stream, the only possibility is preforming a restore from an iCloud backup, assuming the backup has the pictures in it. (Many users have been unable to restore and get back their pictures.)
If the restore doesn't have all the pictures, then they are gone.
In the future, use photo stream to sync photos from an iPhone to a computer, then copy the photos on the computer from the photo stream album into a permanent album. Photo stream pics stay there only for 30 days, and only up to 1000 photos are stored. Don't use photo stream as a storage medium, it's only for copying photos from one device to another. Always copy (either via USB cable or photo stream) to a computer and then move to an album.

Are you running Mountain Lion (Mac OSX 10.8.x)? If so, and you are using Pages, you should be aware that Apple has implemented a new auto-save feature for its software (and other software that has been written to comply). The very good news is that you can retrieve prior states of your document. The bad news is that the feature makes it easy to modify your work inadvertently by saving your changes without your knowledge. I don't think Apple has it quite right yet. In any event, research OS 10.8 auto-save and see if this might be your problem.
