When I open a file from Camera Raw in PS this is smaller than the screen so I double-click with the tool "hand" to fit on the screen, but the picture loses sharpness and becomes blurry. If you magnify the image even only slightly with the tool "zoom" the picture comes back clear. In Camera Raw instead is always sharp. I solve the problem by turning off the graphics card in PS but often use plugin that need the graphics card otherwise the processing time is much longer. I ask for help.

My laptop touchpad scroll is not working with firefox 4. It is wroking with other programs. When I attach a mouse then scroll works with mouse wheel. It is only not working with touchpad. It is/was working with firefox 3.6.x

I am using windows xp service pack 3 with Lenovo T60p.

I too have this problem, I have an Acer Aspire 7551G with an ALPS mutitouch touchpad. It works perfectly fine in every other program, and worked in Firefox 3.6. Scroll also works fine with a USB mouse. I tried downloading the 'latest' driver from the Acer support website, but when I tried to install it, it says that I am trying to install the same driver that I already have, so that fix isn't possible. I've only had the machine for 3 months, so I would imagine the drivers are pretty current.
I can't believe that this is a driver problem anyway, as I say, it works perfectly well in every other program, so it must be something wrong with Firefox. I was looking forward to using Firefox 4, but this problem is too annoying to put up with. Oh well, back to Chrome... at least until there is a fix found or implemented.

Working with japanese and other char sets..

I primarily use XML Pull parsing becuase of its speed and my lack of need to validate a document.
One problem we are having is saving text input by a user into an xml when it is japanese characters. We can clearly see the japanese characters in the text field.
I have tried setting the encoding to utf-8, utf-16 and ucs-2. When I set it to utf-16, the output gets all garbled and it cant be read. Actually, in fairness, I am using a basic file writer and building up a StringBuffer with the xml I want, where I put the declaration tag at the top in and write it all out. At least on the mac, when I open the xml with textedit, I see a slew of japanese characters but no valid xml. Somehow it turns the entire file into japanese and not just the values within quotes.
What's the trick in writing xml out and reading it back in so that various languages can be saved and restored?

I am using a basic file writer and building up a StringBuffer with the xml I want,That isn't the trick. The trick is to use a FileWriter that has been set up to use the same encoding you put into the XML document's prolog. Just having the XML document declare that it's encoded in UTF-8 doesn't make it be encoded in UTF-8, that is your responsibility. Like this:Writer w = new OutputStreamWriter(new FileOutputStream(...), "UTF-8"));And make sure you have a text editor that can understand UTF-8 and also render Japanese characters properly.

Working with Muse and other CMS outside Business Catalyst

Well I have been using Adobe Muse and I love it so far, I have been experimenting with some animation on Edge and integrating it to Muse, also like it since I got rid of Flash players, and also has been looking at Business Catalyst. I like the last one very much but here is the thing... not all my clients are so convinced about that! They want to use their choice hosting service which is not Business Catalyst. And although it has pretty cool stuff clients want freedom of choosing something else. Is there any chance Muse will be able in a near future to integrate other CMS and let us designers to have that choice in an easy way?

SMB under 10.7.6 doesn't work with Lexmark and others

I understand that Apple has changed SMB -- and it is not incompatible with lots of applications and devices (e.g. Lexmark scanners than scan to Mac). Short of going back to Snow Leopard, is there a way to get the "old" SMB to replace the 10.7.6 SMB -- or is there a prayer that Apple will "fix" this problem?

Uninstall the Tuxera NTFS driver according to the developer's instructions. Reboot and see if there's any improvement.

Windows Technical Preview for Enterprise does not give me an option to uninstall I.E. 11 or it does not list it as an update in installed updates. HELP! I need to be able to work in Sharepoint! Any help is appreciated.

Uninstall Internet Explorer 11 is possible, but install an Internet Explorer 10 is not an option in Windows 10 Technical Preview, due to this is no such update existed for Windows 10 Technical Preview.

If a website uses BGSOUND then it will only work in IE.
BGSOUND is not compatible with other browsers like Firefox.
