The easiest thing to do is a reset on the phone. Hold the sleep/wake and home buttons together until you see the Apple logo and then release. After that, go to the app in question and tap on it. This should restart the download and finish it, as long as you have a solid internet connection.

I can not open my Safari. It quits unexpectedly. The issue only happens to a single user account. It does not happen to anyone else in my family. Please help!
Launch the Console application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ If you’re running Mac OS X 10.7 or later, open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Console in the page that opens.
Step 1
Enter the name of the crashed application or process in the Filter text field. Post the messages from the time of the last crash, if any — the text, please, not a screenshot.
Important: Some private information, such as your name, may appear in the log. Edit it out by search-and-replace in a text editor before posting.
Step 2
Still in the Console window, look under User Diagnostic Reports for crash reports related to the process. The report name starts with the name of the crashed process, and ends with ".crash". Select the most recent report and post the contents — again, the text, not a screenshot. In the interest of privacy, I suggest that, before posting, you edit out the “Anonymous UUID,” a long string of letters, numbers, and dashes in the header of the report, if it’s present (it may not be.) Please don’t post shutdownStall or hang logs — they're very long and not helpful. -

thanksIt appears that you do have a problem. Ordinarily, if you try to do something that requires the full licensed version of the software (such as creating a new document or edit an existing one), it should prompt you for an unlock code.
If you go to the Quick Office web site, you'll find that the providors of the software are offering a good deal for the full app with MS Office 2007 support, so it is worth doing that instead of trying to use the Download! app in the phone or Ovi Store. -
Own two iphone 5s with ios 7.0.2 loaded. Both phones do not allow camera video to start. Anyone else with this issue? Any suggestions how to correct?

The first thing I recommend is quitting and relaunching the applications on your iPhones:
Double-click the Home button.
Swipe left or right until you have located the app you wish to close.
Swipe the app up to close it.

If you are still seeing the same issue after quitting and relaunching the Camera app, I recommend restarting your phones and then resetting if recording video still not working:
Restarting your device
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red "slide to power off" slider appears, and then slide the slider.
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until the Apple logo appears.
Note: Reset your device only if you are unable to restart it.

Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button together for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.

For some reason the iCloud account on my iPhone has reverted to an old Appleid. I now can't get rid of it for the above reason--I can't turn 'Find my iPhone' off since that old appleid is no longer active and I don't have access to the email address since its from an old job. If the old ID is yours, and if your current ID was created by editing the details of this old ID (rather than being an entirely new ID), go to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change. Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address. You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iDevice, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then save any photo stream photos that you wish to keep to your camera roll. When finished go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was. Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your current iCloud ID and password.

For the Rectangular Marquee Tool and other selection tools like Lasso, you need to have New Selection enabled in the tool options bar to just move the selection outline. -
I am running iOS 4.3.5 and this has been going on for months now. I need to keep my task manager open to kill the task when I connect and disconnect my iphone or ipad. It hogs all of my cpu, sometimes opening 2 or 3 windows media players.

Close the App Store app, double click the home button, press and hold the App Store icon until it wiggles, press the X, open the App Store app again and you should see your updates.

I have 2 apps that have been waiting to update for a week. I don't really care about the update, I would just like to use them, but the are stuck waiting. I have tried powering down, syncing with my computer...all fails. Any ideas?
At this point you have no choice but to update the or delete them and reinstall them since you wont be able to use them until they update - or come out of the "waiting" loop.
Make sure that you do not have a stalled download in iTunes - a song or podcast .... if you have a download in there that did not finish, complete that one first. Only one thing can download at a time on the iPad so that could be what is causing the problem.
If that doesn't work - sign out of your account, restart the iPad and then sign in again.
Settings>Store>Apple ID. Tap your ID and sign out. Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
Go back to Settings>Store>Sign in and then try to update again. Tap one waiting icon only if necessary to start the download stream.
You can also try deleting the waiting icons - tap and hold down on an icon until it wiggles - the tap the X on the icon to delete it. Then try to download again.
You can try resetting all settings. Settings>General>Reset>Reset All Settings. You will have to enter all of your app preferences and device settings again. -
