I have an email account through yahoo. I am having trouble setting it upon my iPhone and can't receive or send emails!!!! I contacted Rogers and they said I need to find out the host name of the incoming server, in other words yahoos host name. Help!!
Yahoo's servers are notoriously unreliable. Use the "Yahoo" account type when setting it up. If it doesn't work, and you are positive the credentials are correct, wait a while and try again.
While you're waiting, set up a free gmail or iCloud email account. -
How can I completely get my iPhone and iPad disconnected from iTunes Match? I don't usually have Cloud access and find iTunes Match to be very annoying.
Csoud1 is correct. But if you still want to keep your iTunes Match subscribed and did not want to sync with your iOS devices, do the following:
On you iOS devices, just go to Setting > Music > disable iTunes Match -
When I click on an Icon on my desktop to take me to a site (such as Google) I get a message that it could not find the location. Then it goes ahead and opens a Firefox window with the site anyway as if the message never happened. Then when I close the window I see that the message is still there. I have to close it separately. Any suggestions? Oh, and this only happens if Firefox is NOT already active. If I have another Firefox window open when I click on the Icon, it just opens as expected. This message appears no matter which site Icon I select. It did not happen before I upgraded to ver 9.0.

Since you are using one of the the school's Macbooks, it is quite possible that the time and date are not properly set on the computer that you are using. FaceTime will not work if you do not have the proper time zone set up for the location that you are in. This past week, there were a two other Macbook users I've helped by simply telling them to set the Date/Time properly. By the way, you described your problem very well, which makes it easier for us to help you. Hope this solves your problem -- if not, post back and I can suggest other remedies.

I Can no longer synch my iPhone and iPad to Outlook using iTunes on a Win 7 Pc. I updated to iTunes 11.1.4.62 a few days ago. Don't know if that caused my problem. I've reset the Synch History, deleted any Notes in Outlook that don't have a subject. Grateful for any help.

Would like to exclude some email accounts from email count/notifications
I have an email account on my Z10 that I don't want any notification or count on the main screen. I can exclude the email from the Hub but it still notifies me on the main screen that I have email. It would be nice to exclude this so that I could check it once a day or as needed without being notified of every bit of spam that comes to this account.
Open your Hub.
Touch the bottom right three dots overflow icon.
Touch Settings
Touch Hub Management
For the email account you do NOT want to see in the Hub, turn it off.
When you want to see that email, simply reverse that setting and turn it on.

I would like to bcc my email accounts separately - can this be done?
I have 2 email accounts set up on both ipad and iphone. I have created bcc for all outgoing emails from both accounts but the bcc goes through to the first account even though I sent it from the 2nd account.
Can this be changed?
Many thanksWhat would make it fail is the CHM would need to be on the user's PC and I doubt that would be the case. Also you would have to know where it is. I very much doubt there is any way to embed a CHM in the PDF.

I am traveling to the Philippines next week and am confused on whether I need to buy a converter to be able to charge my Iphone (and Ipad). I was told I did not as the chargers were universal and automatically converted anywhere from 100 to 240v depending on what you plug into.
I would just like some more confirmations if any one has traveled internationally.

I brought a new computer is there any way to put the items that i have on my iphone and ipad in my itunes. I know the music and apps i paid for but what about the songs and photos. that are not paid for. and having it sync with out it telling me that it has to erase all my things.

My oldest daughter recently bought a new ipod touch and gave her old one to her brother. How do I unlink his ipod from her account and set up his own without losing the music and apps already on it?
Connect it to his iTunes library and set it up as a new device. You should be prompted to Erase and Sync the iPod if his iTunes library is separate from hers.
Or head to Settings -> General -> Reset -> Erase all Content and Settings.

I am having issues with my itunes account. When I try to connect my Iphone or Ipad to my Itunes account, neither show up. I have tried turning off and re-booting all devices and have tried re-installing ITunes on my computer. Nothing seems to work. Any ideas on how to fix this problem?

Iclouds is supposed to work from my PC but doesn't. Loaded the program several times. I have all the corrected software. I keep getting the error message: ApplePhotoStreams.exe has stopped working. Anybody out there that uses icloud with a PC???
