Just import them normally and sort the project by date. They will fall into place. If you tried this and it isn;t happening then make sure the data and times on the two cameras are identical and make sure you are sorting by date and time and nothing else.

I doubt it Doc Maik, but I am certainly happy to learn The image is this one (and a similar one). They would be beautiful portraits if not for the "extra mouth". The grey edge that I would like to remove is the excess of (grey) mouth that is actually my horse's chin, but that in the pictures looks like a wider, looping mouth. Practically, looking at the picture, the "extra mouth" to the left. What I would love it to be able correct that to look like a normal mouth, which means that half of the protruding edge should be removed. I am not sure I was able to explain myself, but here is one of the two pictures. I thank you for you kindness in being available to advise me.

Yes. Use the option to sync with selected playlists on the music tab when your devices are connected.

I just upgraded to Lion. When I import photos it imports the same photo over and over. Not even one of the photos selected!! Do you know how to fix this?

I just upgraded to Lion. I just installed iLife'11 last night. When I import photos into iMovie (version 9.0.4.) , it imports the same photo over and over as if it were the ones I selected. Not even one of the photos selected!! The thumbnais show that unselected photo, if I preview then I just see the preview screen all black.
I even tried making an iPhoto album and importing straight from there. Exact same thing. I have restarted the application, restarted the computer, and googled half-to-death. No answers.
Do any of you know how to fix this?

I would like to upgrade my Imac 8,1 from 1 Gb to 4Gb RAM. Apple does not have memory for this Imac but recommended Crucial, Kingston or Ramjet. I have noticed a difference in pricing and would like to know if there are differences in their chips?

My only other question to add to what you've already said is - I currently have 1 G of memory installed. Can I ADD a 2G card to get to 3G (probably more than I need), or should cards match if you have more than 1 - i.e., 2 1G cards or replace existing 1G with a 2G, or even 2 2G cards (way more than I need).

Connect the old iPad to your computer's iTunes and copy your purchases off it and over to your computer's iTunes via File > Devices > Transfer Purchases, then take a backup of it (File > Devices > Back Up) and restore that backup onto the new iPad (restoring a backup onto a different device won't copy passwords, so you will need to enter your email account passwords, router password, and any passwords stored on Safari on your new iPad).

I would like to Import tracks between Logic sessions-

…I've found no mention in the Manual for how to do this. I'm looking to import tracks in a manner similar to Pro Tools' "Import Session Data." So far, the only way I've found to make this work is to export to AAF and then import that file. On a session that has a lot of data, that is very time-consuming. Any ideas?

Thanks for posting that response. I can save my Channel Strip Settings and then open those up in another session. How do I copy the corresponding Audio regions, and have them be in the same sync position on the imported track in the new session?
I would rather not click and drag between sessions using the playhead position as my guide. That seems imprecise and prone to operator error. It's also cumbersome. I'm bringing Six tracks into a new session with a total running time of 90 minutes. That's a lot of regions to drag!
I do see a workaround, which is to import my Channel Strips into the 'Export Session' and then move my clips onto the new tracks. Am I on the right track (no pun intended) here?

I have opened DDE Share but after filing in Share Name; Static Application
Name; Static Topic Name
I get a message, "Can't bind to DSDM service"
I also get this message when I press add a Share
What are the steps to setting up this type of communications link?

I have followed the steps on the Knowledge Base "How do I use DDE To Send Data Across the Network To Excel From Lookout?" but what I am seeing is that the computer with excel (Computer B)hangs up displaying an hour glass continuously leaving me no option but to go into task manager to stop excel. It appears to me that the dde share is not working properly on my windows xp where lookout resides or I do not have a certain service turned on. I do have the DDE services turned on both computers. I have my computer set up as computer A with Lookout and Process1 as the process with a pot set up as pot1. On my computer (Computer A) I also have the dde share set up per the KB example.
On computer B I have the dde services turned on and I am typing the following into an excel worksheet Cell ='\\TAG23232\NDDE$'|'Process1$'!Pot1
TAG 23232 is Computer A's Name
Do you have any suggestions???

Different zoom levels for different clips in the same project?

I am making a movie with videos from two different cameras. As a result some of the clips are cut down in size to a small portion of the screen. This can be solved if it is possible to use different zoom levels for different clips in the same project. I have not been able to do this. Is it possible?

You can scale the small clips up to the same size of the larger one... but you will get a quality loss.
Using Motion or Scale to Frame Size commands
Better to scale the large ones down to a Sequence that matches the smaller clip dimensions.

Does DNG Converter work within LR or do I have to upload pictures to my computer and then make a second copy in DNG format. and then go into LR and use them?

I would like to update my contacts, but sync'd two iphone contacts to one

I have two iphones on my computer. When I recently updated, itunes synce'd both of our contacts together. HOw do I remove the other phones contacts from mine? Do I have to delete individually, because then the next time I update/sync...it will restore from the last backup which will include the contacts from the second phone. Any suggestions?

if you have them separate 'somewhere' it's not too difficult.. if you use mac.
i think there may be a fundamental error in how you tried to sync... separate iPhone requires separate USER if you want different contacts, OR you can make groups in addressbook (phoneone, phonetwo) and check that group to sync in iTunes.
if you have unmolsted (non merged) contacts somewhere, you can merge that into the SAME doubled addressbook but as soon as you do, grab the contacts in 'last import' and make a new group (i.e. phoneone). you can then go to the 'phone one' group, select all and delete.. that will leave only the contacts NOT in 'phone one'.
if there are over-laps than it gets tricker but if you can figure out what those are you can make add'l groups like 'common'... and you can select all the contacts NOT in common and also in phone one to leave only phone two alone.
if you have a good backup than it's even easier.. the likely goof is that you WERE using 'only sync groupone with phone one, grouptwo with phone two, but the setting got changed to sync all contacts.
there is a very helpful option in the info pane of iTUnes... 'replace contacts on next sync'..
if you restore addressbook to have the split groups, than pick the group you want to sync, then check the 'replace contacts on next sync' it will erase the ones you don't want from each phone as you do the next sync.

Yes you can do it. I do it with 4 different devices all using the same Apple ID.
You need to associate different email addresses for each device in order to use those email addresses as the "contact at" email address. The reason the calls are dropping on you now is that what you are trying to do is like calling yourself on your own phone.
You can also create new iCloud accounts on each device simply to use for FaceTime, but I'm guessing that the users of the other two devices have their own email addresses which will make this work for you quite easily.
