Highest an eMac can go is 10.5.8...

* 512MB of memory (I say 1.5GB for PPC at least, 2-3GB minimum for IntelMacs)
* DVD drive for installation
* 9GB of available disk space (I say 30GB at least)
Trouble is appl no longer sells it, you have to search eBay & such for the full retail version, not any grey Install Disc.
There are workarounds if the 867MHz is the only hangup...

Or, you can add your iPad iCloud account to your phone as a secondary account by going to Settings>Mail,Contacts,Calendars>Add Account>iCloud, signing in with your iPhone's iCloud ID, then enabling Calendar syncing.

My ipod nano was synced by itunes and removed all of my music and game files, and replaced my music with my kids music that they have put into the current itunes library. My music is nowhere to be found on my computer, so now I am in the long, forever process of adding my music back one cd at a time, but there is no history of tetris that I paid for from the itunes store. How can I get this game back for my ipod?
Contact iTunes support and explain your situation to them. They may let you redownload it at no cost.

If you have any podcasts in your iTunes library you should see a Podcasts sync setting tab to the right when you connect your phone and click on its name on the left sidebar (see image below). On this tab check to sync podcasts and sync your phone.

I would like to copy my Contacts from Windows to my iPhone 5? How can I do it?

I have recently bought an iphone 5 and I would like to update my Contacts to the iphone 5 from my Windows PC. There in the Contacts folder under my user account in VCARD format, I tried doing it with iTunes, while changing it in the Info tab to 'Windows Contact' but it comes up with 'Syncing Contacts' in the iTunes but I can't see any contacts in my phone at all? I also tried to upload those Contacts to iCloud but then I get an error which is " Could not be imported because there was a problem reading the VCard ".
I really don't know why this is, but as you can understand I desperately need to copy my contacts.
Would anyone be able to suggest me where I am getting wrong please?
And also, I have just updated my phone to iOS 6.1.4. (Shouldn't really matter but just in-case).
Cheers ears!!Right, I finally managed to get it sorted out.
iCloud only accept version 3.0 vcards, and the one I was using were version 2.1 so that's why it wasn't picking it up. So the easy way to get that sorted out is, use a gmail account.
I know you don't wanna do it because you think it's too much hassle and stuff, but trust me it only takes 5 minutes and that's it.
1. Create a Gmail Account.
2. Export your Old VCard files to the Gmail Account.
3. Now Import them from Gmail to your PC again.
And, that's it, that's just makes the new imported version in 1 file contains your all contacts in version 3.0. Now you can just upload that on icloud and then sync it with your iphone.
That's what I did and it worked, and I am sure if you wanna replace this file in the Contacts folder under your User Account in Windows and then try to sync Contacts in Tunes, it should work, but as I said, I did it with iCloud and it worked for me. So aye, that's pretty much it. Phewwww..
Been searching for it for the whole day and it took 5 minutes in the end, badass...

I would like to print a page from a book bought on Amazon. How can I do that?

I bought a digital book on Amazon.com, and downloaded it to my iPad. It is in the KINDLE app. I would like to print a page or two of it on the printer connected to my lap top. Am having a devil of a time. can anyone help? I think I can do it, but just don't know how. Please help?

Has anyone had a problem installing PhotoKit 2.06 in CS4? I keep getting 'Owl Orphanage: Photoshop.exe Bad Image. I have tried installation files from 2 different sources without success. Pixel Genius suggested dropping the unzipped files directly into Plug-ins - that didn't work. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I am in touch with Pixel Genius, the plug-in developer, and so far ( this has been going on for 5 days) a solution has not been forthcoming, hence my post. The required files are shown in Windows Explorer but will not load when I fire up CS4. Previously, I ran version 1.2.4 of PhotoKIt without a problem but that was uninstalled to make way for the latest software. Pixel Genius have asked me to open up CS4 Help, System info, and send it to them which I have done. I wait in hope!

You can't restore an iPhone 3G from an iPhone 4 backup. Until you get a replacement you can access your iCloud data at iCloud.com on a computer. -
iTunes shows 46 app updates. When I try to update it says all apps are up to date. How can I correct this?
Any chance the apps were purchased through another iTunes Store account? That's usually the cause of the symptoms you describe. Get Info on your apps and see if perhaps some were indeed purchased using a different account. If so, just sign into the iTunes Store using that account and you should then be able to update.

I have a mobleme account and an existing iweb website. I would like to create a second website with a registered domain name. How do I do this?
All you need to do is create your second site in iWeb, move it to the top of lhe list of sites in the left hand pane and publish to your MobileMe account. You must make sure the second site has a different name from the first.
Then setup domain name forwarding to the second site following Apple's instructions here: iWeb: Using your own domain name. You will need to setup forwarding at your domain name provider also.
The key is that the second site (with the domain name) must the top top size in iWeb.
Note: with MobileMe scheduled to be discontinued on June 30, 2012, you might begin looking into obtaining another host. When you do you'll find that both sites will need to have a domain name.
When the time comes take a look at HostExcellence.com. I've had excellent results with it. They have a couple of packages that offer free domain names. And most important they have outstanding 24/7, ear-to-ear customer support.

I took my mac to an iStore in South Africa however my country does not have an iStore. Macbook upgraded from 10.5.8 to mountain lion. I lost the update when I tried to restore my old information. How can I get my update back without paying again?
Ok, that sounds like a valid approach...but now the question is, when you say you lost the upgrade when you tried to restore, exactly what do you mean? Restore from a Time Machine backup, or another kind of backup? What happened to the operating system when you did that?
If it damaged the operating system, you should be able to recover it by restarting your computer holding either the Option key (should result in a grey screen that shows the macintosh hard drive and a recovery hard drive), or by holding the Command and R keys while starting.
You can use the recovery hard drive to reinstall Mac OS X either way. If the Option key restart, click on the recovery hard drive to boot from that.
Then with either approach you will have a screen with a drop-down that gives you choices, such as install Mac OS X, Disk Utility, Terminal. You will want to use Install (or Reinstall) Mac OS X...note, you must be connected to the internet from this point on. -

VCA is to make sure that you have a understanding of the general concepts before you go to do a full VCP course.

You have to look at the email protocol being used. the Apple email system uses IMAP, does Tinyworld use IMAP or POP?
Does the email system permit delivery receipts to be requested?
Just some of the things one needs to determine from the information provided by the email service provider. -

Hey there tjbliven,
It sounds like you are not able to use the dictation feature of iOS 8, becuase the microphone icon is missing. It seems to me like Siri may be turned off, which would cause the icon to not be there:
Siri settings - iPhone
To set options for Siri, go to Settings > General > Siri. Options include:
Turning Siri on or off
That should get the dictation feature back for you.
