I4s icloud back up help
I am in need of help. I have an I4s phone & some of my messages/pictures were deleted by accident. I am trying to retrieve those back from my last i-cloud back up. The back up was one a few days ago, the prior info is what I need. I did not back up to computer or i-tunes, i did not think you had to. These prior records are very important & i would like to get them back. I was told this is possible, anyone out there to help?

You have Jailbroken your device. Apple does not support Jailbreaking and as such having done so has voided your warranty and forfeited any support from Apple and by extension these forums. We are not allowed to discuss Jailbroken devices in any way by the Terms of Service of the forum.
You will have to find help elsewhere. Ask the person that installed Cydia to restore the phone. -
Hi guys, basically I have backed up my iphone using icloud back up. I was just wondering when I restore this on my new iphone everything will appear right? Cos I have this app with my main pictures and I was wondering if that will restore too along with the password?

I am trying to back up my new iPad to iCloud. I understand that I need to go to settings>icloud>storage & back up but I do not have the storage and back up section ??. Please help

My daughter's new IPod will not back up to ICloud. It keeps saying back up incomplete, but I can back it up to my PC. ICloud is turned on and my Iphone is backing up properly to ICloud, so I am not sure what to do at this point
Welcome to the Apple Community.
You might try a forced shutdown to begin with, hold down the top and home buttons together until the device shuts down, then restart it.
First check that your device is correctly connected to the wifi/internet (settings > wifi)
If your back up continually fails, you might try turning off back up on your mobile device (settings > iCloud > storage & backup) and then deleting the backup file from iCloud by swiping the backup file on the mobile device (settings > iCloud > storage & backup > manage…) and then turning back up on again.
If this doesn't help, try turning off some items for back up in a pattern to try to establish if your problem is being caused by specific data on your device.
Being able to back up to the cloud can be very useful, especially if you don't have access to a computer or have infrequent access to one, however unless you specifically need to use iCloud for back up, you will find backing up to iTunes significantly more convenient and possibly more reliable.

Ipad dialog box says iCloud back up, help me fix please
my ipad has a pop up box that says the following: " iCloud Backup this ipad hasnt been updated in 2 weeks. Back up happens when this ipad is plugged in, locked and connected to wifi." It wont let me do anything now, not even shut down.. help
Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.

My contacts on my old Iphone I gave a family member were deleted then synced to icloud. My current iphone lost all its contacts when it next synced. I retreived a 6mth old backup to get my contacts, but I want my recent messages back, any help?
The "system" performed as designed. All devices syncing to one iCloud account are kept in common sync. The idea is that all such devices belong to one user. Different users should have different iCloud accounts. Once your contacts were edited, all devices were updated as well and subsequent backups (from yours and her device) reflected the changed contacts (and any other data that may have been edited like calendars). Your first task is to change your daughter over to a new account before she makes other changes.
The only way I see for getting back contacts is to restore them from a time machine backup, assuming you also have a Mac included in the account which syncs the contacts. However, I'm not sure whether time machine includes contacts from iCloud along with those that are local, "on my Mac".
Otherwise the deleted contacts are gone. -
I recently removed an outlook account and now all of my calendar events are missing. The majority of them were added from my iphone 4s. How do I retrieve the events? Backing up with iCloud did not help, as I assumed it would.
Outlook is a mail client for PC's (and Macs). It is not a type of account. Do you mean an "Exchange Account"?
If so, then re-add it. The calendar events live on the Exchange Server. The only way to get them back is to re-add the account to the phone. The contents of Exchange and IMAP accounts are not part of the 'backup' as they already exist elsewhere. -
i lost my phone and i got an unlocked 4s from my gf she used it before an its still connected to her icloud is there a way i can restore my icloud back up to replace hers without messing up the unlock also my latest backup isnt showing on my pc help plz!!

Connected to WiFi? No Firewalls in operation? Have at least 50MB's of free space on your phone? Have enough space in iCloud...Settings>iCloud>Storage/Backup>Manage Storage>Select your phone.
