Ias 10.1.2.3 glitches in chgiphost to change the IP address

RHEL 4, Kernel 2.6.9-67.0.1
After recently patching our ias from 10.1.2.2 to 10.1.2.3 we did in depth testing on our developement server.
After that we copied the whole server (VMware virtual machine) to our test server.
On this test server I changed the IP address and the hostname.
I tried to use the tool chgiphost.sh to reflect the changes to the ias aswell (like done several times before on the old ias 10.1.2.2).
I got the following error:

I found, that the shared object is not suitable for the Intel server.

After copying this shared object from the old ias 10.1.0.2, it looks like this:

I tried again to change the IP address.
I still got errors, but it looks like it worked. I can call all my Form dialogforms
Any idea, what might have caused this error?

i am not sure what do you mean by changing ip address and machine name.
Is the IP address and machine name of the installation machine changed?
Then you can change the ip address and machine name from kregedit. If
you want to run it from some other machine, you wont be able to do it.

when i install the soa suit, I don't have a registered DNS name.
So I set a invalid domain name for it .
Now I want public this application, So I changed the ServerName as a public and fixed IP, and modify the port 7777 with 80.
All application running OK but BPEL.

I have a macbook pro (OSX Lion) and just updated to 10.7.5. There is no longer the option to empty cache in safari. Is this a glitch or a feature of the update?

HT1583 When burning a DVD of photos and music from iDVD, the photos blur right before the transitions and the music has about 5 second glitches here and there before the music starts again. Is there any way to burn the DVD without this happening?

Each year I am in charge of making a slideshow of photos and music for my annual company meeting. I always use iDVD to set up my photos and music and then burn the DVD to play at the meeting. Every time I burn the DVD, it blurs right before the transition of the photo. It has always done this and I'm not sure why. It will also make the music glitch in a few spots for about 5 seconds or more. If I burn another DVD to try it again, the glitches will still be there, but in different spots. I've tried the highest quality of DVD's possible and this still happens. What can I do to fix this problem?

Try disabling transitions altogether!
There is a technical reason that this breakup happens - it is to do with how slideshows can be saved within the DVD specification, they can either be recorded as 'video streams' or as a collection of 'still images'.
When you add transitions iDVD has no option but to use a video stream, this can result in terrible 'breakup' because the mpeg 2 encoder isn't designed to handle scenes that are static with a sudden short change. You can see 'artefacts' in the video stream…

'Still image slideshows' avoid the issue altogether by only showing a static image, no video compression is used & because the scene doesn't transition so it shouldn't breakup.
NOTE: Music on the slideshow is irrelevant, both types can use a soundtrack.
I cannot remember if it is possible to force iDVD to only make still image slideshows, I always use DVD Studio Pro to correctly setup DVD's. I'd suggest you use the option to save the DVD to a disk image & then open that disk image so that DVD Player can preview it, that should save on the number of test disks you burn.
If you cannot make it avoid using video streams you may be ether off making your own video slideshow in iMovie & then import that into iDVD. It may eventually look better despite being a video stream!
iDVD isn't really condusive to professional levels of control.

Importing stops at every glitch in tape when using the ADVC300 to imprt vhs

When I import a analog video from VHS or an 8mm with the ADVC300 iMovie stops the import at every glitch in the tape, I am looking for a way to import an entire VHS from beginning to end. Is the a preference setting in iMovie 09 that I can change? Or maybe Final Cut Express?

I have exactly the same problem. I'm importing old VHS which has a lot of bad spots. I have the ADVC300 - default settings.
iMovie seems to be coded to stop importing whenever it sees a break in the tape. I guess for digital media that's a good assumption - but for ratty VHS it's a real problem.
iMovie does better than Quicktime 7 Pro - but neither work very well for this kind of import.
Any suggestions would be appreciated - if I find a solution in the meantime - I'll post it here.

The old computer is a 2.6 Ghz Intel Core 2 Duo
The new one is a 2.3 GHz intel core i7
In going over this, thanks to "tallking it out" with you, I did discover the Text Edit problem. Because I've still been unable to get the new computer text size (fonts or whatever) to match the old computer, I did not notice that the curser is now different--the line midway down the curser has to be placed on the line I am working upon, otherwise the edits go elsewhere on the page. Now, with a bit of difficulty, I am able to get Text Edit to work correctly.
If you have any ideas as to why my menu bar and Text Edit type are still so slow, I'd love to have them.
(I went through the process you suggested earlier, re my Trackpad preferences, and found no improvement.)

HT3650 Glitches exporting aux channels using the blank region method. Any solutions?

I've ended up with LOTS of glitches in the output from the stems. Does anyone have a reliable way to use this method? E.g., one aux track was receiving a left channel only track and a right channel track but the exported file only had the right channel!

Yes my particular issue is not like yours. However, there have been many other laptop users experiencing similar problem to yours after 3.10 kernel. Mostly it seems to be bumblebee users that experience your problem with the blank screen. We do know that nvidia have yet to make their official drivers work with kernel 3.10 and up. The drivers in the Arch repository have been patched to work with 3.10. From what I have seen, this also only seem to be affecting laptops with newer nvidia gpu's. I fear there is not much to do with this problem until nvidia give official 3.10 kernel support.
My suggestion would be to stick with 3.9.9 kernel and the drivers that work with it, and don't upgrade those packages until nvidia has addressed these issues. If you have a look at the nvidia forums you will see quite a number of topics mentioning black screen when starting x on 3.10 kernel, and also a thread for the system dying. Reading some of the threads there may help you keep up to date on whether or not the issue seem to be solved.

I am seeing from last 2-3 days or i realized in last 2-3 days but am keeping seeing every 1-2 hrs apart the lines keep coming and phone also acting especially in the areas of touch response. I am on latest 8.1.3 version .

Logic 8 Glitch: Blacked out screen to the left of the play line

Using: Logic Pro 8.0.2 / Macbook Pro 2.8GHz i7 / 8GB ram / OSX 10.9.4
When I play anything on Logic, everything that has been played (everything to the left of the vertical play line) is blacked out (see figure 1). When I move the screen back and forth horizontally, it returns to normal. Sometimes the glitches are even more extreme (see figures 2+3). I went to reinstall logic off of the disk, but the DMG no longer works on this version of OSX. Is there some alternate way to reinstall this version of logic, or is there any discount for upgrading to a newer version?

This is a known issue with LP8 and OSX Mavericks, with no fix other than:
Downgrade your OS
Upgrade Logic: there is no "upgrade path', so either buy Logic Pro X from the AppStore, or possibly locate a "second-hand" LP9 (Logic Studio 2) upgrade (EBay?)

My iMac turns on and about 10 mins later it glitches and freezes and then the screen turns blue/green/white

My iMac turns on fine, but about 10 minutes later I can't use the mouse as the whole thing freezes. Sometimes it continues to move the mouse for a while but then glitches the screen (see first image). After that my screen turns blue/green/white and even purple as a solid colour (second image - changes to a different colour). I'm wondering what the problem is and can I fix it myself?

I have a similar iMac.
1. Be sure you have 4 GB of RAM.
2. Create a new USER wih Admin Rights
3. Don't add anything to the start up sequence.
4. Update all your apps. This is a big problem. Do it.
5. Use Font Book and verify your fonts. Delete any broken fonts.
6. Download and install Applejack. If you have to force a restart, press and hold command s. A black screen will appear. Finally it will say something about Applejack. Type applejack and run #1 and #2. Restart.
Don't run Applejack outside of safe mode. (Command s)
Come back and let us know how it is working.

I tried your solution and its a very good workaround for the workbooks stored in the Database, but when i open workbooks from file system then Discoverer defaults the export path to the Directory from where we have opened the workbook.
My clients are having most of their workbooks stored in File system & stored at different locations. So i wonder if there is just one common solution if possible?

A glitch in my use of the change event

I have a script in the change event of a drop down list field that works when a certain choice is made then another field becomes visible. I am trying to get that field to become visible when when a record from a database populates the field the correct value. Right now all that happens is the drop down field shows the correct value but the field in question isn't visible.
Here is the code I am using for the change event.

I have a Drop-down List called "ContractTypeList" that has three items in the list;
Limited Permission
Creative Works Unlimited
Commission for Creative Works
If Creative Works Unlimited is chosen a hidden Drop-down List called "ContractLanguageList" becomes visible otherwise if either of the other two are chosen then it is hidden.
I would like the "ContractLanguageList" to be hidden or shown depending on which item shows in the Drop-down List when I cycle through records in a database. Right now it only works with user interaction.
I'm not sure what to do. I have been using the line, xfa.even.newText. If anyone can help me out it would most appreciated.
