Ibooks not downloading on my iphone 5

Hi. ibooks isn't downloading on my iPhone 5c. I'm not sure what operating system I'm on. I did an update in early Jan. I recently changed the apple ID associated with my iPhone. ibooks lets me "get" the book, but it just loops the download. Thank you for any help.

Because a few million of your closest friends are trying to download it too.
This NEVER works out well on release day. Keep tryiing, or better yet, give it a few days.

How about this... I'm having the same issue w/ my iPad. Bought 3 books tonight, only 1 downloaded. Other 2 show up on my bookshelf but have no progress in their status bar. When I click on purchases and try to download them it takes me back to my bookshelf and then gives me "you have already purchased these, go to purchases to download." It's this never-ending cycle!
On my MacBook (running everything current), it shows that I've bought these books, but when I try to download them there I get "Cannot check for downloads. iTunes temporarily unavailable." I've re-booted everything (MacBook, iPad, modem, router), even re-installed iTunes.
Then I tried my iPhone, was able to download other 2 books and then synced it to my MacBook, and then synced that to my iPad. Books showed up normal (was able to open them) once and then reverted back to the "will not open, blank status bar" like before.
Have rebooted iPad lots, even did your steps 1, 2 & 3.

Replies to emails i send from my iMac are not downloading on my iPhone, just my iMac. All other emails download to both devices. How can I get all emails to download on both devices?

You may not have the same protocol setup. ie. Try using IMAP on both if available.
What Mail account is it? @example.com

Applications will not download. They are on home screen but are transparent an say waiting under them. Has been two days now an have not installed yet. Also on my iTunes account my music will not download to the iPhone.

If the icon of the app draws on gray probably it's trying to update to a newer version of the app, you must be connected to the internet to complete the process, if you can not continue with your downloads, check the memory of your phone and be sure that you still have enough space to install the apps. Try to do a backup of your videos and photos on your computer and delete some files from yor phone. If you have enough space and you are connected to the internet then clic on the gray icon and the title will change to "paused" then clic it again and will try to reconnect to the server to resume the download. IBooks not downloading

When I am downloading books so that I can read them in iBooks they are showing up in my book library, but they are not downloading. The bar at the bottom is there but they are not downloading. I can also get the free samples of the books, but not the books themselves. Where do I need to look to find the answer for this? Sorry if this has been asked before, I did a search and couldn't find anything on it.

I have the same issue (iphone 4s). The cover appears, with the loading bar in it, but it never actually loads. If I uninstall and reinstall the app numerous times I can sometimes get them to load. BUT, occasionally the will revert to unloaded state and I cant finish reading them!

Hi I have downloaded an app named "Car Logbook" on my iPhone but there was a upgrade in the app of Rs 110/- otherwise I could not use the full app so I upgraded it using my credit card..It says that the in app purchase is done but its not downloaded so press OK to download...I have pressed that hundreds of times but the upgrade is not yet downloaded...I tried on wifi even the app is just of 3.5 mbs but it didn't worked I restarted phone den also it didn't worked even I deleted the app and installed again but den also it didn't worked...can anybody help me on this pls...

Why are my apps not downloading on my iphone?

The apps on my iphone are not downloading. If I connect it to the computer, the apps download via iTunes. I have no problems downloading apps from my iPad. Does anyone know why this might be happening?

For the Contacts (I'm waiting my new 5s) I'm using the free App "MyContactsBakup" (or MCBakup), it works just fine on my iPhone 4.
It works for pics too I guess. It is reliable, it process and send a file attached to a mail with all your contacts (pics, etc.). You open the attachment from your iPhone and add all the contacts again.

I know, I always do that but I was in a rush to get somewhere and I was relying on my thousand dollar Mac to do some kind of recovery or something. I know Microsoft always keeps temporary files (I think Mac does too, part of me asking here in this forum was for someone to tell me where I can find those files) and when you go to open Office Works then it gives you the option of opening the last recent documents, saved or not saved.
I usually copy paste into my emial just in case something goes wrong with the created document but I just didn't have the time to login and do all that My loss, you live and you learn, BUT still if ANYONE got any info on this, PLEASE DO CHIME IN *keeping the hope alive*

this is a known issue with Yahoo, as your thread is the 5th I've seen already about Yahoo email.
Contact yahoo and see what the problem is.

Just updated iPhone 5 to ios7. Now when I plug in, iTunes does not download photos, and iPhone is not showing as a hard drive on my computer. Windows used to have a pop up to download photos, which is no longer there. iTunes is updated and iCloud isoff

I also recently installed Norton 360, but that was eliminated via Norton Help. They remoted in, removed Norton 360 and problem persisted - iPhone did not show on the "Computer" window, and no pop-up to download photos even with no antivirus installed. Norton help advised to uninstall and reinstall iTunes, which seemed a bit excessive. Any other fixes I can try before an uninstall and reinstall?

Your iPhone is in recoverty mode at the moment so to possibly get it back up and running you would need to do a restore as you have been trying. Follow the steps in the article below for the specific error messages you have been receiving. If after following all steps the issue remains book an appointment at a local Apple Retail Store to have the iPhone evaluated.
