an icloud backup warning will not respond, even after connecting to imac and backing up through itunes with usb connection. Any advice appreciated!

Try this.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.

Sorry, don't know what you are asking. You have an old iPad Mini 3 and a new iPad Mini 3? How did you set up the new iPad? Did you restore it from a backup of the old iPad? What photos are you not seeing?

ICloud Backup is not showing up when trying to restore?

(Obviously) I just updated to iOS 7. GOt through activation and everything. But when I was setting up through the phone and through iTunes, my iCloud backup does not show to restore from. I backed it up this morning at 9 AM and it only shows one from 1 PM. I checked my iCloud storage and the control panel and it's there, but not available apparently for a restore. Any ideas?

Is it possible that some of the clips were recorded in 60P? iMovie does not natively edit 60P.
There are several options.
You could convert it to 30P using an app like ClipWrap.
You can edit 60P in Final Cut Pro X.

I installed ios7 and now my icloud backup does not work. When I connect to iTunes i can back up my phone on my computer, but when I change the option to icloud it gives me an error message. Please help

My iCloud backup is not working on my iPhone 4S. I was took backup on november 2012 after that I did not connected with wifi and i did not take any back. Now I try to take a backup using wifi it is not working can any help me to fi this issue.

Here is the solution..(works with iPhone, iPod, iPad)
1) Please export all your contacts by signing on iCloud.com
1.1) Go to https://www.icloud.com/ and sign in with your Apple ID
1.2) Go to contacts and click on the settings icon on the bottom left of the page which is also called as the Show Actions menu. And then click on Export vCard.
1.3) Your file is saved on desktop or any location that you choose to save at.
2) On your device, go to the settings menu - General - Reset - Erase All Content and Settings
3) Allow the device to restore and turn into a new device.
4) Sign in with iCloud account on your device and turn on backup after you restore all the data you need on your device.
Try Backing it once you have completed all the above steps. iCloud backup works !!

My iphone says that icloud has not been backed up in 2 weeks...but after several attemps to back up, it continues to say "the latest backup did not complete"...I did have the phone plugged into my computer & connected to wi-fi..and it was locked...any idea why it won't complete the backup? it says total storage is 5.0 GB & available is 3.3 GB

You might try a forced shutdown to begin with, hold down the top and home buttons together until the device shuts down, then restart it.
First check that your device is correctly connected to the wifi/internet (settings > wifi)
If your back up continually fails, you might try turning off back up on your mobile device (settings > iCloud > storage & backup) and then deleting the backup file from iCloud by swiping the backup file on the mobile device (settings > iCloud > storage & backup > manage…) and then turning back up on again.
If this doesn't help, try turning off some items for back up in a pattern to try to establish if your problem is being caused by specific data on your device.
Being able to back up to the cloud can be very useful, especially if you don't have access to a computer or have infrequent access to one, however unless you specifically need to use iCloud for back up, you will find backing up to iTunes significantly more convenient and possibly more reliable.

TS3992 Icloud backup does not completed after install IOS 8

I recently installed iOS 8 on my iPhone 5s (32 GB). Prior to the install, I had just enough storage to backup on iCloud. However, after the install, it is saying "[a]n additional 3.1 GB of storage is required. This is puzzling because under Manage Storage it says that I have 4.3 GB worth of backups (3.6 for iPhone and 731 MB for iPad), which is within the 5 GB of free storage. In addition when I try to Backup my Iphone several times show me that the Backup is not completed and the last back up was before install IOS 8(17 Sept)
it is probably something to do with the iOS 8 update. This could be the case, although I downloaded and installed iOS 8 via Iphone wireless update, so nothing (I'm guessing?) should have been downloaded onto the phone.
Any help would be appreciated.

I am having this problem too and I saw on another board that it is because it is keeping the copy from ios7 instead of replacing it w/the new one and that the solution is to delete the old backup. I have not verified that this is the correct answer yet as I do not know how to do that, but at least it may get you one step closer.

Icloud photos beta not responding on pc

Whenever I try to open Photos in icloud beta on my windows PC I get a notice NOT RESPONDING and to reload or send Apple Report.
I have reported this numerous times but nothing has changed.

Could you please tell us which version of Windows you are using?
Do you mean the programm iCloud for Windows (beta) or the the folder were the Photos from iCloud are stored?
Does Photos from iCloud for Windows (beta) or the folder not respond immediatly or after some time it tried to load the content?
Reports only send various informations to Apple so that they can work on a solution. Problems will be fixed (if possible) with updates of the software. Please also check if windows firewall, windows defender or other (security) programms are in the way.

I am getting an error message that reads - Verification Failed, Request timed out even though the credentials are correct.

Is there a way to download the files form you iCloud backup? Not restore but actually download the files.

Is there a way to retrieve your backup files from iCloud? Wehn you backup locally, you can get to the actual backup files. Is there a way to retrieve these from iCloud? I want to actually examine the individual files.

AFAIK, no, nor is there anyway to view your icloud backup.

ICloud Backups do not seem to be Incremental

After the initial setup of iCloud, I ran a manual backup. It was 2GB worth of data and took roughly 3 hours. Since then, my iphone shows that my next backup will be 2.1GB. Shouldn't it be .1GB if it is incremental? This does not seem practical if iCloud is trying to make full backups each day. Anyone else experience this behavior? I am using an iPhone 4 btw.

The only way I made that determination was based on time it took to backup. The original backup that showed "next backup size 2GB" took roughly 3 hours. The second backup which I am only assuming is incremental, stated "next backup size 2.1GB" and took roughly 10 minutes. My assumption is the delta would be next backup size minus backup size, or roughly .1 GB. Again, I am only assuming based on length of time for the backup to complete. Can anyone validate if this reasoning is correct? The first backup I had to run manually. The second backup was automatic once all of the criteria were met: power, wifi, locked.
