Icloud calendar display of events on pc

Some of the events on the calendar display with the event printed in a bar of color across the square of that day. Other events display with only a dot of color after the event's name. The first option is better because it makes the event stand out more. How do I get all events to display with a bar?

You can change the calendar color from Red to something else, but the events will all be the same color

ICloud calendar syncing but events not syncing

I have an issue wherein my iCloud calendars on my Mac are syncing with iCloud, but certain events on the calendars aren't syncing. I imported a calendar from a file that has my school class schedule, so now on my computer I have my class schedule and can make alerts on it and that kind of thing, but the repeating events that stand for the classes aren't syncing with iCloud. I tried creating test events in that particular calendar, and they synced fine, but the class events are refusing to sync. Any help?

ICloud calendar events disappearing

I have iCal on my Mac at home, synced to my iPhone, and then I use iCloud at work (from a PC). Today at work, I was looking at my iCloud calendar and several events disappeared from right in front of my eyes. However, they are still on my phone! (I can't yet check if they're on my Mac at home.) What is going on here?
I suspect that it has something to do with weekly repeating events - all the events which disappeared were in that category - but how do I get them back? My iPhone is set to sync 'all events' already.

Apple doesn't seem to be doing anything about this. So maybe we can at least help them diagnose and fix!
Question 1: did you all recently upgrade to Mountain Lion? I did so a few weeks ago.
Question 2: I noticed this problem with only SOME recurring events, mostly those that have weekly recurrence. Events with daily recurrence have not disappeared. Is this the same with others?
Question 3: how to get Apple Customer Support attention???

Calendar display off by two days

My phone calendar displays all events as two days earlier but each entry when opened has the correct date e.g. all todays events 8th Nov show as Sat 6th Nov. When i hit the today button it shows the 6th not the 8th but shows the 8th events.
Confused? So am I

i guess we have the same problem...my mac & me account are synching properly but when it comes to my IP the bdate is 2 days ahead of the actual date.
can anybody has the solution for this

Sorry, missed that fact. My memory is good, but short.
Try moving the "Calendar Cache" file to your Desktop. Quit iCal, and find the "Calendar Cache" file in your Macintosh HD/Users/yourusername/Library/Calendars. Move that file to your Desktop. After that, (I remember that I recommended this before), as long as you are moving files to the Desktop, repeat the plist removal procedure once again, log out/in or restart.
You should also consider removing the "To Do's" from Mail before restarting iCal. When you open iCal turn off "Show Birthdays calendar" in iCal>Preferences...>General.
Are you syncing any data? If so, what method(s) are you using?

The concept still holds true. When clicking to select your time zone, you will need to select another city within your same Time Zone so that that one becomes your default.
If you are still unable to select your Time Zone, you may find more information by using another one of Apple's Support Resources at: https://getsupport.apple.com/GetproductgroupList.action.

ICloud Calendar - 3 calendars, how order on event display?

(Windows Vista, no Outlook; iphone 4, ipad)
I'm using 3 separate calendars on my iCloud calendar. Viewing my calendar via iCloud.com, the 3 calendars are displayed on the left in the order I would like to see them on the actual calendar display. I know how to order them on the left, but that order does not reflect for the actual events shown. What I'm trying to do is have the most important (my primary calendar events) appear first on my calendar) and others at the bottom. For instance, I might want to use that one to show a period of time, that someone is out of town and do not want that at the top of my to-do events.
I've tried dragging, both on the monthly calendar and on specific days and that doesn't work. Anybody know how to do this?

You wouldn't know how to get iCal to update on a iMac that doesn't have Lion installed, would you?

Can't add events to icloud calendar

I have problems syncing my iPad, iPhone and MacBook Pro for the calendars. I added and event on each device and I never see all the others. Let say I put the event "test iPad" on the iPad, "test iPhone" from the iPhone et "test mac" on my MacBook Pro. Also I wen't on the iCloud calendar and when I try to add an event it says Impossible to create event "test from mac" because of an error on the server. Please try again. I also send the information to Apple but it's been like that for a while and I never get a solution.
By the way, the sync works fine for notes and contact.

Microsoft Outlook Calendar: Outlook also displays iCloud and Exchange data separately. Exchange data typically appears within the My Calendars section, as in the example below with Calendar under My Calendars.
Outlook has a descriptive note about which collection your calendars belong to next to the Calendar title in the left panel of Outlook. Your local Outlook data (that is, data not belonging to either iCloud or Exchange) also appears within the My Calendars section of Outlook. ICal calendars displaying in iCloud

I subscribed to an iCal calendar on a high school sports schedule website. I have iCloud for iCal tunred on. The events showed up in iCal on my Mac, iPhone,and Ipad as they should. However, when I logged into iCloud they were not displayed. Obviously iCloud is workng and knows about the events. However, subscribed calendars are not listed with the rest of the calendars on the selection list in iCloud, so I can't check them and have them displayed in the iCloud calendar. Do I have that right? Why not?

Sounds like I have the same or a similar problem. Since I migrated to iCloud, all is well with my contacts, calendars, etc. on my Mac, my iPod Touch, my MacBook, etc. --- but when I went to the iCloud site today, and chose "calendar", everything there is blank. And yes, in iCal preferences, all my calendars show as "iCloud" calendars --- but in iCloud (the site) itself, there is nothing there that can be seen. To add to the mystery, I do not have this problem with contacts: all of them are visible when I go to the iCal site.
Any advice will be appreciated.

Events created in icloud calendar change times on iPhone.

When I add a new event in my iCloud calendar it changes times once synced to my iphone. So if I schedule something at 9am it shows up as 10am on my iphone.

Do you need Time Zone Support enabled with Calendar events on your iPhone? Do you regularly travel between different time zones?
When on, Time Zone Support always shows event dates and times in the time zone selected for calendars.
When off, events will display according to the time zone of your current location.

Calendar events duplicating across iCloud Calendar categories

I have Calendar events duplicating across iCloud Calendar categories. IOW, for example, I have Halloween displaying correctly because I have the "US Holidays" category checked. Fine. I also have a category, to continue the example, called “Motorcycles" checked—obviously because I want pertinent events display under that category. The problem is that I did not put Halloween under the Motorcycles category and it repeats annually. Therefore I see Halloween displayed twice every year (with US Holidays and Motorcycles checked). Further info, if I delete Motorcycles/Halloween for 2014, it remains in place for 2015 and later years. So I don’t know how this happened and I don’t know how to resolve it. Thanks for the help.

Thank you very much for the answer. It turns out that I was under the "call support" category—and I did. While it remains a mystery why some "Holidays" and also "US Holidays" migrated over to other categories but we went onto my iCloud Calendar site to see specifically and compare to my machine Calendar. We decided to Delete a couple minor offending categories that had accepted the repeats and just dealt with it that way. So....still a mystery as to why but problem solved. Thanks again.

TS4337 Icloud only displays "..." for my calender events

Since the update to the ios7 style, my iCal on Icloud.com doesn't display the text of my event names if they are longer than 22 characters. Once my event becomes 23 characters long icloud will only display "..." for the event. Prior to the update it would display the first part of the event title, regardless of the length.
Obviously this made it much easier to simple glance at the calender to see the events. Is there any way to have the current icloud calender display this partial text?

Go to Settings>Mail,Contacts,Calendars and scroll down to the Calendars section, tap Sync and set this to a longer time period.

ICloud calendar - edit vs. calendar display

I just converted over to iCloud and I have noticed a discrepancy in my calendar.
For example, I have an event for Sunday morning at 8:30am but on my new iCloud calendar it shows as 7:30am. More confusing, when I pull up the edit window, the event is set for 8:30am.
What gives?

Confusing here too, I assume you've done all the obvious checks (time zones, time set etc), because it really looks like a Time Zone issue, check the machine (system preferences.time & date.time zone) and that's about all I have at the moment.

You need to set 0 margin and padding on the body tag. Copy
the following
into the head of your document just before the closing head
tag (/head>)
Preferably it should go into an external stylesheet, but by

things you are not using this as yet.

Once you have added the above to your page, you need to save
the page as a
Template. You will be asked to create an editable region
(which is the area
that will be changed on each child page created from this
template).
The DW help files do offer some information on how to create
Template
pages - that may be the first stop for you :-)

Can't add events to iCloud calendars on my iPhone

I have my phone and Mac set up on iCloud, and my iCloud calendars show up on my phone. But when I make a new event on my phone, I can't add them to my iCloud calendars. Thanks.

OK, a simple restart of the iPad fixed the calendar problem, but now my contacts are gone!!
