ICloud email changes

I have an iCloud account that was migrated from MobileMe while on the developer beta last summer. I would like a new iCloud address for login (NOT an alias) but if I make a new account I lose access to the MobileMe features I still currently have access to. (Such as iWeb, iDisk and Gallery)
Can I either change the address or transfer the entire account to another account under a new address, effectively doing the same thing?

No you won't. Just sign out of iCloud, and create a new Apple ID and use that to sign in to a new iCloud account. Your MobileMe sign in and access to your iDisk will be completely unaffected (at least until MobileMe terminates at the end of June).

my husband and I both use the same icloud account and apple id, however with these new iphone 6's it seems to cause a lot of issues and I was suppose to create a new icloud account for his phone before they switched his info over but I didn't get the chance too. So, we currently have the same icloud account email and apple id. I don't mind having the same apple id, however the icloud email is a different story, it seems everything is showing up on his phone from mine such as who I called etc. is there a way that I can just change the icloud email on his phone and keep the apple id the same and leave mine the same all together? if so, how do I do that without him losing all of his information?

He can migrate his phone to a new account but he will need a new Apple ID to create it. He can create his new ID by going here: https://appleid.apple.com/account. Then to migrate his phone to a new account he should go to Settings>iCloud, tap Sign Out (which only removes the account from his phone, not from iCloud; your phone won't be effected by this), choose Keep on My iPhone and provide the password to turn off Find My iPhone when prompted. Then he can sign back in with his new Apple ID to create his new account and choose Merge to upload a copy of the iCloud data to his new account. Once you are on separate iCloud accounts, you can each go to iCloud.com and delete the other person's data from your account. He will have to choose a new @icloud.com email account to go with his new iCloud account.
You can continue to share the same original ID for other services such as your iTunes store account if you want to. The ID you use for iCloud does not need to be the same as the ID you use for other services. However, to avoid getting each other's text messages and FaceTime calls you should use different IDs for these services. He should go to Settings>Messages>Send & Receive, tap the ID, sign out, then sign back in with his new iCloud ID. Then he should do the same thing in Settings>FaceTime.

ICloud email change help

I changed the email I was using for iCloud a while ago. I recently got a different iPhone, and it continues to prompt me to sign into iCloud, but it has the old email in the email spot, so obviously when I try to sign on it won't work. It also does not give me the option to type in the new email address. That part is grayed out so I cannot change it. Help!

In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iCloud account on your iOS device, you need to delete the account from your iOS device first, then add it back using your updated details. (Settings > iCloud, scroll down and hit "Delete Account")
Providing you are simply updating your existing details and not changing to another account, when you delete your account, all the data that is synced with iCloud will also be deleted from the device (but not from iCloud), but will be synced back to your device when you login again.

You can't add an existing @me.com address to an Apple ID because it already is an apple ID.
If you sign into System Preferences>iCloud with your mydomain ID you will be asked to create an @me.com address; this will become the iCloud account's email address but will not change the login ID.

Here is the issue:
I am trying to restore my iPhone to a previous backup. It will not let me because "Find My iPhone" is on. I cannot turn it off because in iCloud, it is signed in with an account that basically doesn't exist. I changed my Apple ID email to a new email, and for some reason, on iCloud, it is still my old email. I cannot do anything with iCloud because I need to sign in to my account with an email that no longer exists, which means that the password I have had forever doesn't work, because THE ACCOUNT DOESN'T EXCIST! I cannot delete the account, because to do that you need to log in, and again, the log in is with an email that doesn't exsist. I also really need to restore to a back up. I use iPhone 5.

If the old ID is yours, and if your new ID was created by editing the details of this old ID (rather than being an entirely new ID), go to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change. Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address. You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iDevice, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then save any photo stream photos that you wish to keep to your camera roll. When finished go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was. Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your current iCloud ID and password.

I changed my Apple ID. But when I send email with a help of iCloud I see that the previuos ID remains the same though I already started to use new Apple ID. Changing your AppleID has no effect on the @me.com iCloud email address attached to it.
The username of your @hotmail.ru email account is not connected with your @me.com account username.
The only way to get a different @me.com iCloud email address is to setup a whole new iCloud account, or setup an email alias within your existing iCloud account.

When I received my iphone 4s 3 years ago the my apple id and icloud email addresses were the same, it was a student email from the college I attended. This account is no longer active, but when I changed my apple id email address to a current email (gmail account) the icloud address didn't change over. I now have no ability to sign into icloud on my phone and icloud hasn't been updated in nearly a year. I wanted to figure out this problem before I upgraded to the Iphone 6 this December. You should still be able to use your college email address, just log in with your details.

Your Apple ID and iCloud email address don't need to be the same, you can't change an iCloud email address.
Also check your Mail rules and filtering, the verification mail may be going to a junk folder or even being deleted altogether. You may also wish to contact your mail provider to see if their spam filters are removing the email before it gets to you.

You will wait for the rest of your life. You need to fix it; no one else will. To turn off "Find my iPhone" and its associated Activation Lock you need the Apple ID and password that were used to turn it on. If you know the Apple ID you can contact Apple Account Security and have them reset the password (after you prove you are the rightful owner of that Apple ID). see: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5699.

I just got an iphone recently and I started my apple id using my gmail email address. I decided to change email from gmail to icloud so I setup an icloud email account and now I have two apple id accounts. All my primary information is in the gmail apple id account and i just want to merge the two together. I've tried changing the apple id on the main account to the icloud email, but it says it already exists. How can I merge these two accounts without deleting one or the other?

You can't merge iCloud accounts.
You could move all your calendars contacts etc over from the account you don't want to the one you do, it's not simple but about all I can suggest.

Naturally, my username was my email address, let's say [email protected] I signed up for an @me email address when they started just to try it out, but never used it. Either by default or by my own decision, my @me account became the same as my old email address: [email protected] Later, Apple issued the @icloud email addresses, so I now have: [email protected] as well. I want to set up a different icloud address, one that I would actually use, let's say [email protected] Then, I would like to associate that address with my Apple ID and delete the oldaddress@icloud address altogether. Since your Apple ID is already associated with the current iCloud account (and the account cannot be delete, it can only be abandoned), you can't use it to create another. You would need to create a new Apple ID with a new non-Apple email address to create a new iCloud account. You can still use your current ID for everything else; the iCloud ID does not need to be the same as the ID you use for other services (iTunes, etc.).
You would then have to migrate your iCloud data to the new account and turn on your iCloud data syncing. When you turn Mail to On, you can create your new @icloud email address (but type carefully since once created it cannot be changed). You @me iCloud email address would remain associated with the iCloud account you are leaving but it sounds like you don't want to use it anyway. You can set up email forwarding to forwared email sent to your @me address to your new @icloud address while your contacts transition to your new address.
If that sounds like something you want to do, I can give you the steps to migrate your data to the new account.

If you mean that Find My Phone is asking for a password to a different Apple ID to your current Apple IDand that ID is a previous version of your current ID, not an entirely different one.
This feature has been introduced to make stolen phones useless to those that have stolen them.
However it can also arise when the user has changed their Apple ID details with Apple and not made the same changes to their iCloud account/Find My Phone on their device before upgrading to iOS 7, or if you restore from a previous back up made before you changed your details and some other circumstances.
The only solution is to change your Apple ID back to its previous state with Apple at My Apple ID using your current password, you don’t need access to this address if it’s previously been used with your Apple ID, once you have saved these details enter the password as requested on your device and then turn off "find my phone" and delete the account from your device. It may take a short while to remove the account.
You should then change your Apple ID back to its current state, save it once again and then log back in using your current Apple ID. Finally, turn "find my phone" back on once again.

First time I entered to iCloud updating my iphone th IOS5, and my iTunes to 10.5, I wrote a wrong Email address, and now, I'd like to change (modify, I've to change one character) but I can't.
iCloud only let me create alias, but not fix my mistake on my main address.
Using the appleid.com, I only can change my login name (apple username), my password or create a new alias for my me account.
There is no way to change the main address that iCloud is using in email service on iCloud.

That's definitely not supposed to happen. You shouldn't have someone else's iCloud email linked to your ID.
You'll have to get iCloud support to sort this one out. The only way to contact them is to start here: http://www.apple.com/support/icloud/. You'll have to provide your iPhone serial number. Unless it's within the 90 day free support window, or you purchased AppleCare, there will be a charge. I suppose you can plead your case when they answer that you shouldn't be charged as you didn't set up this address and it shouldn't have happened with your ID.
