ICloud Email not working with Outlook 2013
I'm trying to set up my iCloud email on my Outlook 2013, using this guide: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4864
But it keeps asking me for smtp password, even though the password is right.
Anyone help please?
Thanks in advance.
The problem are the wrong SSL setting. There's a detailed description, should work for outlook, too:

Icloud dosen´t work with outlook 2013
I can´t use icloud with outlook 2013.
What can I do? Outlook crashed every time istrat icloud.No workaround. At least, a safe workaround.
The final version of Office 2013 was released on October 24th on TechNet and yes, we need to wait for Apple makes some fixes in iCloud for Windows.
Some tests on Virtual machines showed me that upgrades from Office 2010 to Office 2013 can work, with some tricks, but the result was not trusted.

ICloud email stopped working with Outlook
Unable to receive iCloud email in Outlook - was working perfectly for ages and suddenly just quit.
When iCloud email is on, Outlook disconnects so Comcast mail won't even work either. I get a continual pop-up asking for the password for the iCloud email address, even though the password is remembered. If I remove the me.com address and have iCloud Control Panel setup email again, outgoing server works but incoming server does not.
Calendar, Notes, and Contacts are all still working with Outlook and iCloud. All old mail stored in iCloud/iPhone/iPad is unable to be seen on computer now. Very frustrating and annoying since all my old email is in iCloud.
All iCloud is working fine with iPhone, iPad, and iCloud online. Just cannot get mail into my computer where I want to read it as I work all day and want to have a copy stored.
Have searched for an answer and been unable to find this addressed.Check the port and SSL settings as mentioned in the thread. A little tweaking should get you up and running.
I only changed the smtp settings... left the incoming server settings the same as they were.
outgoing server = p06-smtp.mail.me.com
outgoing port = 587

Icloud email stopped working with outlook 2010 after icloud 3.0 update.,
Hi all,
hope some one can help me out here...
I have had my icloud email set up successfully on my PC (Outlook) for many months, until the icloud 3.0 was released now it doesn't work. I have tried all the usual suspects, I have even gone to the trouble of uninstalling both MS office & icloud control panel then reinstalling them but to no avail. I have tried to manually configure the account in outlook but all I get is an error message "The server responded: 530 5.7.0 No AUTH command has been given"
please HELP?
my config is:
User Info e-mail: @icloud.com - I have also tried @me.com
Server Info IMAP
imap.mail.me.com port 993 SSL
smtp.mail.me.com - also tried p06-smtp.mail.me.com port 587 TLS & SSL
Logon Info User name - my primary @me.com - & i have also tried [email protected]
followed by my usual password, which i have not changed recently.
as you can see I have tried most of the usual combinations of problems & what others are experiencing but i still can not get it to work.
any ideas would be greatly appreciated.Check the port and SSL settings as mentioned in the thread. A little tweaking should get you up and running.

Attach to email not working with Outlook 2011
I've created a pdf document for users to fill out and then click a SUBMIT button which attaches the document to an email and sends it back to me. It works great with Windows users, however, it fails to create an email for Mac users with Outlook 2011. It opens the program but doesn't create an email. I'm using Acrobat Pro 9.5
Can someone please help in fixing this matter as there are people that use Macs.
Thanks
MattYes the Acrobat PDFviewer Plug does nt work with anything but Safari on a Mac. In OS9 days it would work with any web Browser.
But Adobe has decided That they will only support Webkit Browsers and refuses to support despite pleading with Adobe by people using Ecko based browsers. This leave more people unable to use the adobe PDFviewer plugin, than can. A fellow from Germany called Schubert has come up with a PDF Browser Plugin that can use any Browser Webkit or Gecko except Internet Explorer. The one caveat is that you can't fill out forms. And he is banned from putting that feature in, by Adobe. -
Send file as email not working when Outlook 2013 is default mail client
Have Adobe Reader XI 11.0.2 installed. Running Windows 7 Pro 64 bit with Office 2013 installed. When I set Default E-mail Application to Microsoft Outlook from Preferences I receive the following error trying to send any file as an e-mail:
"Either there is no default mail client or the current mail client cannot fulfill the messaging request. Please run Microsoft Outlook and set it as the default mail client."
I have toggled Microsoft Outlook 2013 off and back on as the default e-mail handler in the Default Programs of the Control Panel, but this has not resolved the issue.
I am guessing this may be a new bug since Outlook 2013 only recently came out, but if not, and someone has a fix, please let me know.
Thank you,
- BrianPlease try the steps mentioned at: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/813745 and check whether the issue is resolved or not.
If not, then try starting the outlook in safe mode using (Outlook.exe /safe) and check the issue again.
Hopefully, these will resolve your issue. -
TS3999 when will iCloud work with outlook 2013?
when will iCloud work with outlook 2013?
I have been running Outlook 2013 for a couple of weeks now using W8 64bit.
It works with iCloud and is a little flakey, what I've found.
1. 4 X Junk Folders.
2. Some emails cannot be moved into saved folder, saying message has changed, but opening in outlook safe
mode allows move.
3. Sent Items (this computer only) and Sent Messages, so you have to move emails from Sent Items to Sent
Messages if you want them to sync across devices.
4. Icloud control panel say's there is a problem and not syncing but it is no problem.
I can live with the bugs, but I wish the last icloud update would have corrected the issues. -
Why won't icloud work with outlook 2013 on a PC anymore? It worked prior to windows 8.1 update.
Would like to add that I have tried unloading outlook 2013, reinstalling itunes and icloud and still get the "install could not start do to unexpected error" when trying to install icloud controll panel and sync.

Crystal report 8.5 export to csv and rtf format not working with office 2013
Hi Experts,
Crystal report version 8.5 hangs and eventually crash when i export my report to csv or rtf format on windows 7 with office 2013 installed, code is written in VB 6 although the same scenario is working with office 2010 installed.
i debugged the code and found the application hangs at function Report.Export(False).
below is the code snippet
.PDFExportAllPages = True 'ePDFExportAllPages
.PDFFirstPageNumber = ePDFFirstPageNumber
.PDFLastPageNumber = ePDFLastPageNumber
.RTFExportAllPages = True 'eRTFExportAllPages
.RTFFirstPageNumber = eRTFFirstPageNumber
.RTFLastPageNumber = eRTFLastPageNumber
.UseReportDateFormat = eUseReportDateFormat
.UseReportNumberFormat = eUseReportNumberFormat
.UseReportNumberFormat = eUseReportNumberFormat
.XMLAllowMultipleFiles = eXMLAllowMultipleFiles
.XMLFileName = eXMLFileName
Report.Export (False) ----Application hangs here and eventually crash
Looking forward for your help, as it is very urgent
Regards
MohitHi Mohit
CR 8.5, being about 15 years old, does not support Windows 7. I am surprised this works for you with MS Office 2010 and to be honest, I'd consider my self lucky there. The fact that is does not work with office 2013... well, like I said, lucky with Office 2010 and your luck ran out with Office 2013.
Your option; rewrite the app in VS 2010 / 2012 / 2013 and use the CR Assemblies for VS .NET from SAP Crystal Reports, Developer Version for Visual Studio .NET. The CR Java SDK would be another option.

Iphone calendar does not sync with OUTLOOK 2013
iphone 4 calendar does not sync with OUTLOOK 2013 calendar. Can anyone help? Iphone [Apple] will not provide support
Why won't Apple provide support? Do you mean free support if your iPhone is no longer under warranty if the AppleCare extended warranty was purchased for your iPhone, or if the initial 90 days of free telephone support after the purchase date has expired? If you no longer have free telephone support, free support is provided at an Apple Store if there is one nearby.

Acrobat XI email attachment does not appear to work with Outlook 2013 64 bit
When attempting to send email from Acrobat, the following Microsoft Office Outlook 2013 64 bit error message is received:
"Either there is no default mail client or the current mail client cannot fulfill the messaging request. Please run Microsoft Outlook and set it as the default email client."
Naturally, Outlook was set as default client and then reset for good measure. I did both Outlook and Acrobat repairs and have the latest 11.0.2 installed. All other internal Office 2013 email applications work as well as seemingly all other embedded Acrobat funcitions with Office 2013 work well. Office 2010 64 bit and Acrobat X worked fine. I upgraded to Office 2013 64 bit and had the problem with Acrobat X. I then upgraded to Acrobat XI and the issue remained.
Most importantly, I intalled Office 2013 64 bit on my laptop with Acrobat X. An the email attachment function works perfectly.
So, is there some sort of corrupt MAPI file that I have to overwrite on my desktop that the Ofice and Acrobat repair functions do not fix?
Thanks,
JoeI am sorry. In my haste, not only did I attach the link the wrong way, but I also did not specify which solution worked. My problem was a Click to Run issue. The portion of the thread that deals with the problem is:
"HurdleRemove replied on May 16, 2013
I created a solution for this problem for 64 bit Windows 8 where Outlook 2013 was installed as Click-To-Run.......
......A registry edit will fix the problem with Outlook 2013 click to run installations and enable Outlook to be set as the default mail client. This registry edit will for many third party programs eliminate the error "Either there is no default mail client or the current mail client cannot fulfill the messaging request. Please run Microsoft Outlook and set it as the default mail client." It worked to resolve the problem where Adobe Acrobat was generating this error.
The registry edit is here for Office 2013 64 bit click to run installations that will enable Outlook 2013 to be recognized by third party applications:
1. Create registry key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\Office\15.0\Outlook
2. Create String value:
Bitness
3. Set the String value for Bitness to:
x64
This registry edit is an essential element necessary to resolve the click to run problem that prevents Outlook 2013 from being set as the default mail client. Although it worked with Adobe Acrobat, it will not completely resolve the problem for some third party applications like Kerio Outlook Connecter where the software developer has a web site that includes extra steps necessary for a full resolution for the Kerio product. The Kerio web site includes this registry edit in the context of resolving the Office 365 problem. However, the registry edit works with Office 2013 desktop as well. A similar register edit could likely be made for 32 bit versions but the registry path would not include Wow6432Node. I do not have a 32 bit machine and cannot test a 32 bit solution." -
