ICloud issue

I am experiencing a problem with my email address in iCloud on my iPad Air. I changed from my original email address and I was able to change it in iTunes and log in without an issue. However, in settings on my iCloud it remains as my old email address and will not allow me to log in. How do I change it in iCloud? I'm using IOS 8.2 version. Thanks for any help!

I see that you are running into an issue with iCloud after you have changed your email address. The following article has some suggestions for you regarding this issue that may help you resolve the issue:
iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch
Go to Settings > iCloud.
If you're signed out, enter your updated Apple ID or password. The data in iCloud will automatically appear on your device after you sign in.
If you're still signed in with your previous Apple ID:
Scroll down and tap Sign Out, then tap Sign Out to confirm. If you're using iOS 7 or earlier, tap Delete Account, then tap Delete to confirm. You might need to enter your password. Your data will remain in iCloud and will be updated on your device when you sign in to iCloud again.
Enter your updated Apple ID or password.

Outlook 2013 and Icloud issues.

To whom it may concern,
I use to have Windows 7 32 Bit and Office 2010 synced with my icloud and it worked wonderfully.
I made some changes in to my operating system and changed to Windows 7 64bit. Also I went ahead and updated to Office 2013.
Lately, I been having issues with the calendar synchronization between my Outlook 2013 and My iPhone 6 calendar and contacts. I went ahead unclicked the "contacts, calendar, and tasks (with outlook) Tab from the Icloud menu. a few second later, I proceeded to re click on the same tab to add this option previously mentioned and after clicking on "apply" a window pops up prepping a download of 0 of 10 items and inmedialy I get an error that says "Your setup couldn't be started because and expected error"... and my options are: report, try again or cancel.
After uninstalling icloud several times and reinstalling I decided to report this issue and so far have not heard back from anyone.
If anyone can help... would be greatly appreciated it.!

ITunes Match unable to download songs from iCloud issue

I have a MacBook Pro running Mavericks 10.9.4 and iTunes 11.3.1. I am having repeated issues with downloading songs from iCloud to my MBP. I have reset Match numerous times using the steps located here: http://support.apple.com/kb/TS4054.
Then it works for a short time and I am able to download some songs and then suddenly I will get the pinwheel, the songs in iCloud will all show greyed out and then I am no longer able to download anymore. Repeat process.
I am about to try a test tethering to my iPhone's internet service to see if that improves things. So far, the only threads I have found on this topic have been related to Mountain Lion. So I'm not sure if this is a different issue I am seeing.

Is anyone else experiencing this and what is the issue? Can it be fixed?

I don't think that you have a similar issue to OP.

Match does not strip out the Sample Rate. If tracks are matched, it shows the standard sample rate of 44,100 but unknown when tracks are uploaded (probably because Apple does not capture this on such tracks). If you have an iCloud status of "Waiting" and a blank sample rate, this suggests that the match / upload process was not completed.
If you have not already solved your problem, I suggest that you delete those tracks and then read them to your iTunes library. Once you have matched or uploaded them, you can delete from your hard drive but not the cloud.

Pages and iCloud issues

So far I have found the following issues using Pages and iCloud both on iPad and iMac.
1. I migrated 2 mobileme accounts to iCloud. The pages option to use iCloud would not stay on. This could only beresolved by deleting one of the mail accounts.
2. Pages froze after editing a document and closing it when there was no internet connection. I had to reboot the iPad.
3. The user interface for Folders on the iPad and in iCloud>iWork on iMac is extermely poor. On the iPad there is no way of organising documents in a folder or displaying them other than as thumbnails. On the iMac it is not possible to create folders, organise the contents of those created on iPad, or display other than thumbnails.
If this is Apple's attempt to lure people to Cloud computing then it is not a good start. They should have ported iDisk. I will go back to DropBox.

Though no one replied to this topic, I'm updating with what I've learned after spending many hours on the phone with an Apple tech rep who had esacalated to engineers. There is NO solution. Docs that are out of sync or unretrievable from iCloud or iCloud Drive, they cannot assist with. They offered to wipe my iCloud Drive account and reset it, but I wanted them to restore it afterwards. Just a simple, pull the data off, dump it on an FTP server so I can access it. Nope. No assistance. Not their problem. I have to manually pull ALL the files off my iPad's iCloud account, the ones I can get to and go through this insane 6 step process to get to those docs. Really disappointed with Apple. Using MS Word on the iPad and though not perfect...at least the Pages docs won't be lost.

Major iCloud issue!

Icloud issues

why wont icloud load any of the apps from my pc? Mail, calander, notes, reminders, when I click on them it tries to load, then says "there was a problem loading the application"

Icloud issue - my daughter hooked up her iphone to my laptop how do i get my information back

My daughter hooked up her iphone 4s to my laptop, now i have all her information on my phone iphone 5, even siri thinks i'm her. Her phone does not store my information, she still uses her phone without issues. How do i get my icloud back, and start a new one for her?

if you sync with itunes then you just resync then it should
sync the calender, contacts and the likes back from the source you synch with in itunes

Has anyone had the problem with their iCloud where u have space on your iPhone and space in the icloud, but yet the books n apps that u download go directly to the icloud oppose to directly to your phone. Than when u attempt to download it from icloud it doesn't allow u to without reason. I'm faced with this issue at present, can anyone help?

I never had a problem like that unless I purchased something and then deleted it. And even then I still am able to redownload, unless I do not have enough space or my content is restricted.

Icloud issues between devices

Is anyone else experiencing problems with icloud? I use it between my iPad mini (latest iOS) and iPhone 4s (iOS 6). It started with my photostream oddly being turned off on my iPad, I did not do this! My icloud browser tabs won't sync on either device, says I need to sign into icloud yet my device is already? Also my pages app on my iPad will sometimes show no documents yet I can see them in settings then it all coming back randomly?
What's going on? Am I doing something wrong? Please help, I'm at my wits end with apple.

If you're having multiple issues with iCloud on multiple devices and this happens when you're connected to your home wifi, perhaps you're experiencing wifi issues. Potential solutions to that include power-cycling your wireless router (unplugging it for 15 seconds, then plugging it back in), resetting network settings on your devices (in Settings>General>Reset), updating the firmware on your router, and changing the router's DNS settings to use Google's public DNS (see https://developers.google.com/speed/public-dns/docs/using).
If it this is happening on multiple wifi networks, you might want to try signing completely out of your iCloud account, then signing back in. To do this, start by saving any photo stream photos that you want to keep to your camera roll (unless already there) by opening your my photo stream album, tapping Select, tapping the photos, tap the share icon (box with upward facing arrow), then tapping Save to Camera Roll. Then go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account (which only deletes it from your device, not from iCloud), provide the password to turn off Find My iDevice and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your data will still be in iCloud). Then sign back in (your iCloud data will download back to your device).

I'm having numbers and iCloud issues

Does anyone know how I can get numbers on my iPad and numbers on my iPhone to sync? I keep trying to turn on iCloud on my iPhone and it is on for about a minute then automatically shuts off. Any help would be appreciated

Are you having problems or performance issues?
I'd really not worry about what that utility states, if your computer is running well. OSX manages memory exceedingly well and it cleans up RAM whenever it needs too. Some times it doesn't release all the memory from a program because the library may be used again and it will be quicker to keep it there. Another potential issue is some applications including apple's have memory leaks. memory that isn't released but is "lost" this is caused by bugs in the software, safari for instance keeps grabbing ram but not releasing it. Closing the application typically resolves this problem.
I've not heard of the utility that you referenced and to be honest, I'd not really worry about. It is possible that the utility is not correctly reporting back memory consumption. Take a look at the activity monitor found in applications->utilities. It will give you a fairly good picture of the memory is being managed.

My iCal/iCloud issues

(I'm not sure if this should be in the iCal or iCloud discussions) Like many of us here, I started trying out iCloud, but have run into a few frustrations regarding iCal. At first I thought all my events were being duplicated on my iPhone and my Mac. Then I realized that once I set-up iCloud to sync with iCal, two separate groups were created. A group of calendars called "On My Mac" and a group called "iCloud." My expectation was that everything on my mac would be transfered to the iCloud, and everything between the cloud, my mac, and my phone would be the same. Instead, a clone of my calenders was made and dubbed "iCloud," essentially creating two duplicate structures. I don't like this. Not only did it not provide the consolidation I anticipated, but iCloud loses the "Calender Group" functionality I had made in the iCal application on my Mac. Furthermore, all additional events created in my iPhone are only synced to this "iCloud" group, but not "On My Mac"
I realize that everything would be "the same" if I had chosen to delete my local calenders when I first set up iCloud. But I didn't feel comfortable doing that, and I feel like I shouldn't have to. The Address Book/Contacts, for example, behaves like I want iCal to. It's the same across everything. There isn't this distinction between "On My Mac" and "iCloud" the iCal has (unless I'm missing something).
It looks like I have two choices. Either not bother with iCloud when it comes to iCal, or delete all my local (Mac based) calenders (and subsequently their functionality). The whole thing just bothers me.
Is there a work-around that I'm missing? Or does everyone have the same issues?

Your expectation was correct. When you first activated Calendars in iCloud you should of been prompted to merge calendars from your Mac. This would of deleted the local carendars and replaced them with iCloud calendars. If the iCloud calendars are exact duplicates and are current then there's really no reason why you can't delete the "On My Mac" calendars. What functionality would you be losing?

Email address-iCloud issue

I am having an issue with the email address associated with iCloud.
My iCloud is attached to an email address that I no longer use. When I head to iCloud on my phone, it says my Account is Not Verified and to check the email address associated with the cloud to verify. However, it is an old hotmail account I no longer use. While I can still log into this Hotmail account, there is no email there to verify.
I already deleted the account on the phone and tried to "re-do" it with my current Apple ID (a Gmail account) but it still shows as the Hotmail being associated with the iCloud. How can I rectify this?

ICloud issues at a hotel in Belize

Everyone at our hotel that is using an iPhone or an iPad is having issues with iCloud email. All other applications appear to be working fine. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

If you don't want to share anything with others while in Public spaces then uncheck File Sharing options.
It sounds like they are allowing others to share/see their Mac's but that's no worry for you
