ICloud plays all music on iPhone even when synched not to

Since downloading Yosemite on my MacBook Pro (early 2011), I have been unable to create my music library for listening in the car on my Iphone 6 via blue tooth. I have checked the songs I want to include, synched my phone and thought I was good but got surprised by Christmas music and other unwanted tracks playing.
The other problem I am having is the very lengthy pause between songs. It is so frustrating and nothing seems to help. I push the radio off then back on and maybe it will play the next track, or maybe it won't. If I try to click to the next track, I get the same silence and pause displayed on my radio.
Any solutions would be very helpful. I am not having fun with my Apple products since upgrading to Yosemite.

I have a similar problem but not to the same extent, of the 13,498 tunes in itunes libery only 12906 are synched to my pod, am still unsure as to what is not synched!! I find this very annoying partly wishing I had not used sync and manually managed but this takes ages!!

My iPhone 4s plays muted music in the background when connected via Bluetooth to my 2009 Ford Focus. This puts a heavy drain on the phone battery. I would appreciate any ideas to prevent this happening.

It doesn't really matter whether I am talking to Apple or not (and I'm sure they monitor these comments), I want everyone to know how bad this new iphone 4s is, and all of it's problems.
Apple have already launched an upgrade to the software - it obviously did not help, as many around the world would concur.
As far as being patient and waiting for another "update in the works" is concerned, it is just not satisfactory. This is not a cheap phone, and those who are experiencing these problems, should not have to be paying a substantial amount of money, for a very smart phone, that obviously, has some serious problems.

Try a hard reset:
Hold the home button and the sleep/wake button down at the same time. The phone will turn off and then the apple logo will appear. As soon as you see the apple logo release both buttons.
If the issue remains check the headphone jack to see if the water indicator has been set off. if it has you will see a red/orange spot inside your headphone jack and would mean you have water damage and would need the phone to be replaced.
Last option would be to back up your phone and restore to factory settings to determine a software or hardware issue.

So it appears iCloud/iTunes Match isn't the issue - the error message would seem to be complaining about where the music is being downloaded to. So with this in mind:
In iTunes select Preferences and select Advanced. The iTunes media folder should be set to /Users/<your account>/Music/iTunes/iTunes Music. <your account> would be whatever your user account is. If you see something else there I'd guessing it is a folder you don't have permission to write to.

Welcome to the Apple Community.
First check that all your settings are correct, that contact syncing is checked on all devices (system preferences > iCloud on a mac and settings > iCloud on a iPhone, iPad or iPod).
Make sure the contacts you are adding are added to your 'iCloud' group and not an 'On My Mac', 'On My Phone' or other non iCloud group (you can do this by checking in groups), non iCloud contacts will not sync.
If you are sure that everything is set up correctly and your contacts are in the iCloud group, you might try unchecking contact syncing in the iCloud settings, restarting your device and then re-enabling contact syncing.

You don't have to shout - typing in caps.
The earphones must be pushed very hard into the iPod. So hard, that the white part of the plug must touch the iPod in order for the external speakers to turn off. You will hear a click.
 If you do a forum search, you will find this same solution. If it does not work, you will need to take your iPod to an apple store or call the Apple iPod tech support if still under warranty or you have Apple Care.

You cannot. However, you can solve this problem by setting the iPhone as a new device and upgrading iOS in Settings -> Software Update.
After upgrading iOS, open Settings -> General -> Reset -> Erase All Content and Settings. Finally, Setup Assistant will let you restore the backup.

You will have to provide the correct password to delete the existing account, if you have tried but are not getting the password reset email, contact Apple for assistance by going to https://expresslane.apple.com, then click More Products and Services>Apple ID>Other Apple ID Topics>Lost or forgotten Apple ID password.

IPad 2 playing of all music videos in the folder is not possible. You can play a music video (all purchased from iTunes) but once is finished you have to manually select another one. This defeats the whole concept of having a music video library

How could we play all music videos within the music folder in the iPad2 ? In other words, select all, choose random, and click play and all music videos will automatically play upon completion of the one been viewed without the user having to deselect another video manually (annoying interrupt).
Currently you have to choose each music video and upon completion choose the next one manually. That defeats the whole concept of a music video library.
This does not happen on previous iPad or MacBook Pro iTunes!!!!!
Very annoying.

What exactly do you mean here...there's really nothing to turn on/off. Your purchased music is simply available for download, directly on your device, if not already on your device. If you don't want to download it, then don't.

Under your device in iTunes, you need to make sure you have "Sync Music" enabled on iTunes under the music tab to tell iTunes to move the music it has over to your iPhone.

Apple (and no one else) can not assist (with serial number or iCloud) in finding a lost or stolen iPad.
Report to police along with serial number. Change all your passwords.
