I logged on to my iCloud trying to change my .me address. Not only would it not let me establish the new email but it said I had the wrong answers to my security questions. How do I reset the questions and how do I establish a new cloud account

From your post I understand that you are trying to change your iCloud email address, and also have a question about how to reset your secuirty questions. Once you create your iCloud email address it cannot be changed. You can however create an email alias, which will act like a new email address. I forgot my iCloud security question, also the email address I registed. How can I remove unconfirmed iCloud iD on my Ipad Air (iOS 7)?

When I first set up my grandpa new Ipad Air. I registed an iD-based his name like t•••••••••••@******but in reality such gmail did exsist and I do not know. I was confident that I remember the password so I can change the email later. But now, I forgot all the password, also the security question's answer. So, how can I remove the unconfirmed iCloud account on my device?

Welcome to the Apple Support Communities!
You would need to know the password to the Apple ID set up on the device to remove it from the iCloud settings. The attached article has information on resetting the password via email or security questions. If you are unable to change the password after attempting these two ways, which it sounds like you are, there is also a link towards the bottom of the article to contact Apple Support.

Icloud security question. 4 fam members on same apple id.

My family has 4 devices sharing the same apple ID. We use icloud, Is there any concern that my family could see actual messages i send or receive in imessage or whatsapp?

i should add, that i mean messages i send other people from my device. Of course they would be able to see messages i send directly to them.

I have an apple id and it has my current email attached to it. however when i go to update apps it's asking for the password for an old email. I no longer have the old email and can't use it. when I go to icloud on my ipad it asks for the password for old email. it doesn't allow me to change the old email to current. when i go to reset it i can't remember the password or security questions for the old email so it doesn't let me go any further. How do I fix this? Do i need to call apple support?

I have the same problem - it is maddening. I rely on this iPad for work so this is not just an annoyance! The above solutions of changing the appleid on the device or on the website do not work.
The old email address no longer exists - I haven't used it in a year probably and I no longer have the account. I logged into the appleid website and there is no trace of the old email address so there is nothing that can be deleted or changed there. On the iPad there is no trace of the old email address so nothing can be deleted there either. I have updated the iPad software and the same problem comes right back. Every 2 seconds I am asked to log in using the old non-existent email. The device is currently useless.
The only recent change to anything was the addition of an Apple TV device, which was set up using the correct login and password.
Does anyone have any ideas? The iPad has been backed up to the iCloud so presumably it now won't recognize the current iCloud account? So restoring may notbe an option?

HT5622 I keep getting a pop up about signing into an Icloud account. It won't take the password. I tried to log in on pc and sign in and screwed up on my security questions and it's kicked me out.. how long til I can try again?

I am in iphone **** or better icloud ****. When I try to go ointo settings on the phone a signin prompt pops up continuously with one apple id. I think i've made it that i have a separate icloud and apple id. I am trying to delete the icloud id. I made all the passwords the same so that there should be no problem but the phone won't still take the password. So when i went in again, looking to see if I could delete the icloud, i screwed up answering my security questions and am now unable to enter that icloud id. How long til I can again? It sounds like you have the Find my iphone Activation lock for sure. Go to www.icloud.com/find and see if you put in that Apple ID that is coming up and yoru password to see if you are able to sign into the account that way to turn it off. If you are unable to, you will have to contact AppleCare by phone (chat cannot handle account lock outs or forgotten password due to not being able to verify your identity) and see if they can reset it. And are you sure the Apple ID that is coming up yours?

HT5312 I set up an icloud on an old email address that I can't access anymore. So I created a new account as I couldn't remember the security question answers for the old account. My iphone links to the old account. How do I change it to the new one?

When I set up the icloud I was using my then email address. My email address has now changed.
I tried to access under the old email address to change it to a new email address but I couldn't remember the security questions and as I can't access the old email address, I can't change it. So to solve the problem I set up a new account under the new email address. The only problem is my iphone is still asking for the old email address password which doesn't work.
How do I connect my iphone to the new account as it wont let me delete the old account on the iphone without the password (which as mentioned above doesn't work)?

Content is forever tied to the Apple ID that bought it. Apple does not transfer content from one Apple ID to another. Apple does not merge Apple IDs. You will never be able to access your content bought with one Apple ID with a new Apple ID.

How do I delete an old Apple ID stuck to iCloud when the email address no longer works and neither do the passwords or security questions?

I know I shouldn't have, but I put in my new Apple ID before deleting the old one which was an email address that had shut down. Now the password, rescue address, security questions all don't work and I cannot access the old email address because it no longer works. I cannot delete the old ID from iCloud because I have to put in a password to shutdown find my iphone first. I am going around in circles. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Icloud is synched to the wrong apple ID and the password was unknown to me, after answering the security questions I was able to reset it. Now when I try to login on my ipad to delete the icloud associated to that apple ID it keeps telling me its wrong?

I bought a new Ipad and backup all my info form ym old one to my itunes. I set it up but now for soem reason by icloud on my new ipad is set up an old apple ID account I have never used. After answering security questions I was able to reset my password but when i try to use it on my new ipad to delete hte icloud it keeps telling me its wrong.

It sounds like the new iPad, had a previous owner. If you don't recognize the email for the Apple ID on your iPad, then it was registered to another person.
If it was, you can't use it and should return it.

If your iCloud account isn't the same as your Apple ID, you may have multiple Apple IDs set up (all iCloud accounts are associated with an Apple ID). If you are unclear what it may be, you may find the information and steps outlined in the following article helpful:

I cannnot delete the account because "find my iphone" wants the password linked to this old account. But when i go into the find my iphone app it is using my corect Apple ID. How do i fix this?

If you still have access to your old email address, go to https//appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your iCloud ID. Tap edit next to the primary email account, tap Edit, change it back to your old email account and verify it. Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address. You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iPhone on your device. Then go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back to https//appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was. You can now go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your correct iCloud ID and password.
If you don't have access to your old email address, you will have to contact Apple to have them reset the password so you can disable Find My iPhone and sign into your iCloud account. You cannot do that. The AppleID you used to create the iCloud account is an active primary email address. The email address you created with the iCloud account is also an active primary email address (all Apple domain email address automatically become AppleIDs as well). You cannot replace the primary email address on one active AppleID with the primary email address on another, active AppleID.
You can use your iCloud email/AppleID with iTunes, but it will be a separate account, so all your previous purchases remain tied to the other AppleID you have.
I don't understand your statement that you could not remeber your old AppleID password, as you would have had to use it to create the iCloud account in the first place (the first step of creating the iCloud account required you to login with your existing AppleID and password)?
