Ideas for getting a nice water colour type of effect PE7

I wish to frame some pictures for a room where all colours are pastel and think a water colour treatment for the shots would look good. I know there are loads of effects but wonder if anyone would share their ways of getting a nice end result. My shots are mainly landcsape, seaside and old buildings like cathedrals, abbeys and such.
The shots will be 15' x 10' and in simple no border clip frames.

I have worked my through the options (pencil, watercolour, etc) and now working my way through the additional tweaks with each option. But you are right I seem to like the pencil options the best. However after putting through Fotosketcher I still tweak in PE7.
I will practise more and see what other shots I have to use.

Help! Ideas for displaying ~100-300 still images with After Effects / Premiere Pro

Hi, I am a cadet at a US Air Force detachment and am responsible for making this semester's end of the year video.
I have the Adobe creative cloud and am familiar with the basics of Photoshop, and Premiere Pro, and I am trying to also learn After Effects. I have a large amount of picture and video, and am at a loss for how to quickly make all these pictures into an interesting slideshow. Software such as Cyberlink Powerdirector had a "photo grid" which would allow me to create an automatic slideshow of images on a 3x3 grid, where each image flashed into place one at a time. I am looking for automated processes or tutorials to feed my images into and have a modern effect of displaying the images.
If anyone has any idea for a template or where to start on handling a large amount of still images in After Effects or Premiere Pro, I could definitely use a point in the right direction!

Any ideas for getting AirPlay to work???

I have been researching the subject of enabling AirPlay on my iPod Touch (Gen4) and iPad2 for quite some time. I have read a number of blogs and articles and reviewed many of the postings on this forum. Unfortunately, none of the information has allowed me to enable AirPlay on my iPad2 with my Dell running Windows7.
Here is what I have done thus far:
1) I have enabled Home Sharing on my iPad (under iPod settings) and on iTunes on my PC. In using the Remote app on the iPad, I can see my library.
2) I have made sure both devices are on the same Wi-Fi network.
3) I have performed a plethora of restarts on the iPad.
4) I have disabled the firewall on my PC.
5) I have performed so many syncs I have lost count.
6) I have gone through the troubleshooting steps provided on the Apple website.
7) I have validated that iTunes is current, using 10.2.1.1.
Everything that I have tried has yielded the same result, I am unable to see the AirPlay icon in the iPod app, videos, etc. Two things to mention, although I was under the impression these two things did not matter: 1) I do not have any music on the iPad (I didn't think it mattered) and 2) I do not have any videos on the iPad.
Any ideas what I can try next?

I've tried all the ideas for getting the Dell inte...

I have a Dell Inspiron 5520 laptop with a webcam. I have unistalled and reinstalled the drivers for the webcam, I have tried and failed to use an old version of Skype (I guess Skype is blocking old versions). I am using Skype for Desktop on Windows 8.1, not the modern Skype. Still no webcam. Does anyone have any other ideas on what to try? I am pulling my hair out.

1000s of photos randomly sorted into 1000s of folders. Any ideas for getting them out without opening each one??

Somehow, very much unintentionally (it might have something to do with a 2 yr old "typing" on the keyboard while I wasn't looking), 1000s of my photos have been placed into separate folders, 2 or 3 random photos or videos in each folder. I have started opening each folder and moving the photos out, but with almost 1600 folders to go, I need to know if some else has ever encountered this issue, and if so, did you find a quicker way to get the photos out of the folders without having to manually open each one?
For the record, I now have my computer set to lock my screen when I leave my desk, lesson learned.

I am using an iMac with iOS 7.0.4. All of the photos were on iPhoto '11 after I updated to 9.4.3, and Aperture 3.4.5, but a few months ago they all disappeared from the iPhoto and Aperture libraries, Events, Photos and Faces sections. A few weeks later, I noticed a bunch of new folders on my external hard drive with the same title in a serial list of numbers, had somehow been created. Since I still had the pictures backed up on an external hard drive, I didn't worry about it too much at the time, but today I needed to find a picture from years ago and that brought up the need to fix the mess. In opening the 200 or so files that I have already opened, I noticed that they all listed in their details that they had been modified on 7/27/2013, from 12:07 am to 12:33 am (I guess it wasn't the 2 yr old's fault after all, because she would have been sleeping, sorry kiddo). The peculiar thing is that there is no rhyme or reason to the way the photos and videos were put in the folders. Some folders have only photos from a broad range of time, some have photos and videos, but none of them are sequential in time within the folder. When I transfer the photos and videos out of the folders, into the main overall picture folder, some of them are already in the main folder and some of them are not, meaning that I can't just take for granted that they are all copies, and delete all of the folders with that certain name.
Since I have now cleared my child of being the culprit for all of this mess, I'm thinking it must have been caused by a computer glitch or an update, as Terence suggested, especially considering the time of night when the changes took place. All that is listed in the software update section of my System Preferences area is an update to the AirPort Utility to version 6.3 on 7/26/23 at 12:23 pm. iPhoto had updadated to 9.4.3 on 4/27/13, but none of the files showed modifications on any date other than 7/27/13. Aperture had also updated to version 3.4.5, but it had updated days earlier on 7/11/13. Nothing had updated since 7/11/13 until AirPort Utility updated on 7/26/23, and nothing updated after that until 9/12/13.

Any work around ideas for getting more room on my mac air

Hi. I have an older mac air which really has minimal room left on it. I am going to a photo workshop and would like to be able to upload and edit my images on it but know after 1 day of shooting in raw I will max out the computer. Is there a way to do a work around with an external? I edit with lightroom and will likely shoot at least 2500 images at 25 mpx each, thats alot of data. There is nothing I can remove on the air to free up space.
Any suggestions are appreciated.

Thank you all. Sounds like i might as well buy a new (mac OS supported) external hard drive. Not worth the hassle/risk of taking all the old files off my current external HD.

Welcome to the Apple Community.
I have seen previous versions mentioned in a pop up message before on iCloud.com, but I'm not really sure at all how it would help, as I couldn't get it to do anything.
The best advice I have at this time is to back up your work on your iOS device by regularly saving it to iTunes, if anything goes wrong you can then either load it into the numbers app again on the device or recover it via iTunes on your computer.
My syncs are immediate, I never get chance to see if it works in the background, sorry.

- Table KLAH --> This contains the "Internal class no" [ for the given Class & Class type ]
- Table KSML --> This contains the " internal character numbers " [ nothing but characteristics attached to the class ] , which can be fetched with the above fetched internal class no

Ideas for a nice website?

For a while now, I have been trying to come up with ideas for a website of my own.
I have iWeb '09, and I would like to put my .Mac Account to good use. I would like to create a website with a nice purpose and an easy interface.
Does anyone have any ideas for a website of my own? I have a webserver and a database that I could use as well.
Any ideas or suggestions would be great. Thank you!

Porsche105 I think you'd be far better off spending just a little time now working out exactly what it is you want to say and do. What's your site's purpose? It will save you so much time.
Imagine if you just start designing a site just because you've seen a template you like but you don't know what content you're going to put into it. In a few weeks you might have to start the whole site again because you've realised what it is you really want to do with your site and the way you've designed it doesn't work or look right.
It's the first part of any design project: Questioning. Why do you want a site? What's it going to do? Who's the audience? How's it going to function? Even if you've just got some very rough answers to these questions, it will help you enormously.

Hold down the power button until the slider appears
Hold down the home button (Don't use the slider) Until the App Closes
You might lose your place, but shouldnt be too hard to find it again...

API for getting iView name, type, tCode

I am trying to figure out if there is a way in my program to get iView properties: the iView type (e.g. transaction, Web Dynpro, etc), then if it's a transaction iView to get the tCode for that iView.
I have seen document that tells me I can get the list of iViews in a given PCD location, and I think you can get the properties I mentioned above as such:

New idea for app? how to i go about getting it made?

Im not totally sure this is the place to post this so if its wrong please steer me in the right direction. I have a very good idea for an a new app. There is nothing like it in the app store yet. So basically my question would be how do i go about getting something made into an app? Who do i pitch it too, where? any info would be appreciated. Its not a game so game companies are not what im looking for, and i dont know how to program at all so making it is not an option either.
