Identify my SB LIVE!
Hi,
I have an older SB Li've 5. that someone gave me:
SB000
I am trying to figure out if it is the equivilent if the CT46xx , CT47xx , or other model of SB.
I am intending to use it to pass through Dolby Digital to my AV reciever and the earlier Li've cards had 5 volts at the digital out plug (something I don't want).
Can ANYONE help me , please.
It is different form the CT46xx and CT47xx card. Those cards were 4/4. cards with additional Digital Out. Your SB000 is a true 5. card, where the Digital Out works also as an analog out for Center/Subwoofer.

Having problem identifying my sb live c
I'm trying to get drivers/updates for my Sound blaster li've! card, but not sure what to select in the downloads section. My card's model# is CT4780, i looked in the creative model number list and matched this model# with 2 products Li've! Value and Sound Blaster Li've! Value Dell OEM. I'm not sure which one is mine, but also ?when i go into the dowloads section i'm not sure what category to select: Li've! or Others. I'd greatly appreciate if?someone?could me ?tell which?categiory is right for me?and which product to select to get the right updates.
germz,
Did you buy the SB Li've! Value retail in a box? If so, then select that card for updates (Li'veDrvUni-Pack) from the CL site. Alternately, if you have a Dell computer, and the SB Li've! Value came already installed, then you probably have the OEM version. I don't know if the Li'veDrvUni-Pack download would work because some OEM cards don't support all the retail card functions. You might need to check Dell for updates. -
What is the best way to differentiate a flatten pdf file and a mult-layers (live) file
Hi All,
I am using Adobe Acrobat 9.3.
I have over 10,000 pdf files saved in the same directory. Some of them have been flatten while some of them are still live.
All the files need to be flatten and I need to identify all the live files.
Is there any way I can identify them without going through one by one?
Is there any program I can use?
Appreciate for your help.
Thanks,
Chris WongYou can use JavaScript to tell if there are any layers in a document. You could use it in a batch sequence that checks all of the files in a directory and print the filename to the JavaScript console for each file that has layers.

You can also use JavaScript to run a Preflight profile that yo've set up to flatten layers. For more information, see:

Complaining to Ofcom and demanding compensation fr...
Where to begin with this catalogue of incompetence from BT?
I placed an order for a new telephone line and broadband for the new house I was moving in to. The order was placed on May 17 with a wait for connection until June 1. The new house had an existing line (actual physical line from the exchange but no live connection). Upon placing my order, BT notified my neighbour they would be disconnecting their line in order to connect mine. Somehow BT got our addresses mixed up. When I informed BT of their error, I was told the only way to fix the error was to cancel my order and start again. I did this on the phone under the advice and guidance of an advisor on May 23, and was then given a new activation date of June 15. Not overly happy I had to wait 4 weeks from the date of my original order to get connected, I repeatedly called BT asking if any earlier slots for the engineer to visit my house were available.....I was told no.
However, 4 days before my appointment with the engineer, another engineer arrived at my house to extend the physical line that came in to my house over to a new neighbours house (a derelict barn still under construction with no inhabitants). I called BT to ask what was going on and was assured there was no problem, and my line would still be activated on June 15 (today). My new neighbour told me he called BT and got a late appointment slot at short notice.
On Wednesday June 13 I was called by BT and told there was a problem because there were no available lines for my house as the only two available ones in the area had now been used by my two neighbours. I would now have to wait indefinitely for the engineers to dig up the roads to install a new line.
On Thursday June 14 I was told by 3 different people at BT that actually all was ok and the engineers had confirmed all was well and they would indeed install and activate my line today, June 15. I questioned this strongly after what I had been told the day before, and one advisor even apparently called the OpenReach engineers while I was on hold to double check, and it was all confirmed.
So I took the day off to await the engineer......who unsurprisingly did not turn up!
This is the watered down version of the 4 weeK debacle I've had with BT. In total I have spent 9 hours on the phone (very expensive mobile) being passed from one person to the next being told completely different things from each. Apparently my account is in my wifes name even though she has never once spoken with BT and did not make this order (we used to be joint customers in the past). No one can rectify this problem. Apparently my order is a business line although it is really a residential line, and no one can recitfy this error. Apparently there is an existing active phone line and number at my address, but in reality there isn't. No one can recitify this error. Apparently part of the delay is because the engineers can't identify if I live on the first or second floor........I live on the gorund and first floor of a normal house just like 99% of the rest of the population! BT sent me a internet dongle so I could at least access the internet....the one they sent is not activated or registered at their end so they've asked me to send it back and they'll send another next week.
What's more, my 7 year old daughter has severe anaphylaxis, and if she eats any food with a trace of nuts, or is stung by something like a wasp, she will go in to shock and die if she doesn't get immediate emergency medical help. We carry epipens of adrenaline for this, but an injection of that will only buy her several minutes until an ambulance arrives. As we live in a very rural area with only one neighbour, I do not have the luxury of being able to use a neighbours phone to call the ambulance, and if my mobile signal drops out, I have no way of dialling 999. Even under these conditions, BT thought it more appropriate to divert my land line in to a neighbouring derelict barn instead of connecting me. I have now been without a phone for 4 weeks.
Every time I phone for assistance I am passed to someone presumably from India who can only function with the aid of the script on his desk, and the script does not account for unusual situations like this, therefore I get no where. I've asked repeatedly to speak with a senior manager but it seems they do not exist and my only choice is to speak to the supervisor who uses a slightly different script but still cannot deviate from it.
Who can I speak to?
I now want to complain to Ofcom and anyone else I can, and also demand compensation for the extreme mobile phone bill I've incurred being on hold for 9 hours plus the day I took off work to wait for an engineer who didn't turn up.
I do feel BT had a monopoly on this market for so long that customer service was never and is not a priority for them.
Very, very frustrated and annoyed. It's sort of comforting but sad to see that I am not alone in my frustration with what purports to be a telephone SERVICE provider. A customer of BT for 45 years, I went for a short break in London last week Monday to Thursday. I came home to find our village flooded, and photos on national newspapers and film on TV of kayaks going down the village street. Our house was safe and dry but many neighbours were in trouble. As I came in the front door, I went straight to the phone to access 1571 - realising that concerned friends and relatives might have left messages. “You do not have access to this service” said a prissy voiced lady. At first I thought the local telephone exchange might be out of order - but realised the prissy voiced lady was Mrs BT herself. Phoning my home from my mobile I discovered that my number was not recognized. BT had cut me off.
I phoned the so called helpline and was told I had cancelled my BT account. I hadn't. The stupid woman on the other end told me I could start a new non-cancellable for a year contract and they would re-connect me. I told her I didn't want a new contract, just my old one back with my existing (now non-existing) phone number rental for which I had paid in advance to July.
She told that BT (even women who work for BT) can't multitask and all she could do was reconnect me with a new contract. But once I was reconnected I could go though a long procedure of punching numbers in on the 150 system and then ask somebody else to change the new number they were going to give me and that I didn't want, back to my old number that I did want. My wife, who tells me it is only men who can't multi-task, thought this was a strange response from a woman.
Anyway next morning (Friday) I went through the process of ordering the right number - it would be magicked back in 24 hours I was told. It wasn't.
30 hours after ordering I rang 150. What I hadn't realized was that 30 hours from 9am on Thursday in the strange timezone occupied by British (Indian) Telecom works out at 9am on the following Monday as BT engineers knock off on Friday evening. I was also told that the person who ordered the number change on Friday hadn't done it right and it hadn't gone through. So it would be re-ordered on Saturday at 4.10 pm (that's BST). It would be absolutely guaranteed that I would get my number back - it takes 24 hours. That worked out in case you have the same difficulties as me at being done by and here i quote “9am on Monday - or to be on the safe side say 10am”. I was also promised that I wouldn't be billed for the days when my service wasn't set up correctly.
By Monday nothing had changed - well it had - they had changed my phone number to yet a different one - not the one that they first gave me - not the one I wanted - just another number. A man rang up asking if I had his cardigan and briefcase in the Lost Property office. I told him I hadn't had it handed in and didn't even know who I was supposed to be. I rang 150 again. Another Asian sounding gentleman told me that the person who ordered the number change on Saturday hadn't done it right and it hadn't gone through. So it would be re-ordered on Monday at 10.30 (that's BST). It would be absolutely guaranteed that I would get my number back - it takes 24 hours. That worked out in case you have the same difficulties as me at being done by “Tuesday”. I said that I found it difficult to believe he was telling me the truth as I had been led such a merry dance by BT. He got his supervisor Nina to ring me back which she did instantly.
However Nina didn't have any of my details so said would I hold the line. I did for a while till my bladder got the better of me, so she had to ring me again when she had the details. She said she understood how frustrated I was - people from BT are good at that line - they also all kept telling they knew where I was coming from - - which is more than I knew about them (probably India?). Nina said they would ABSOLUTELY give me my requested number. “Good” I said. Then she dropped the bombshell. “But can I just check? Would you mind awfully if we gave you a different number from the one you are asking for?” - thus confirming that nobody in the BT system actually really understands English or what being a telephone SERVICE provider is all about. I said I really REALLY wanted the number I had had for 13 years until BT made a mistake and switched me off. She promised etc. etc. etc
BT promise that any money they owe me from “your cancelled contract” will be refunded in 40 days (I don't know if those are working days or actual days). On the other hand they don't allow 40 days for a customer to pay a bill.
I had a cancellable contract before BT cut me off. They just cut me off and broke the contract and I get rubbish treatment. On the other hand, if I can't get this all sorted out satisfactorily, they will bill me a cancellation fee for cancelling the rubbish so-called service they are giving.
You can't speak to an intelligent person who understands English like a native. The 150 system takes you round in circles. And woe betide anyone who tries to untangle the mess by using the BT website: when you try to log in to see what's going on with the new account, it tells you that you can't use your e-mail address as that belongs to a previous customer who cancelled (actually didn't cancel) his account while he was on a 4 day London break.
I think I've just gone round in another circle!
I think I'll try writing to my new friend Warren Buckley - he sounds a lovely chap - he keeps sending me e-mails reassuring me they've got my orders and are cracking on with them - and keep completing them - and putting me in the telephone directory and if I want I can get TV down my telephone line (Sky if you are reading this, and Freeview likewise please note that I don't want to cancel getting TV from competent providers).
Or I might try Ofcom.
Or I could try taking BT to the County Court - I suspect there's some way of doing that.
Or I could just slag them off very loudly on trains - or by writing to the newspapers - or BBC Watchdog. Any other suggestions please post on this blog. Thanks for reading!!! -

This one might be your solution.

Some apps consistently crash on system restore
I recently used a super duper clone to restore my system to a new hard drive (the hard drive in the previous one was going after 6 (?) years reasonably heavy use - it's not dead yet, so I could potentially use it to rescue the whole thing if I've done something wrong.
None the less, I restored, seemed to work fine, boots into OSX, but spotlight was flashing, nothing in the top right hand bit of the menu bar was there, lots of apps were crashing or not running. I tried a fresh account, no dice, I reinstalled the 10.6.8 combo update, solved some of the issues, but some of the apps (Ableton Live, Logic, Numbers) will no load and crash when I try.
I have numerous crashlogs for them, which are below. Any help greatfully received.

0x00The battery hasn't charged in about 6 months either but it's a 5 year old laptop which has had heavy usage (daily teaching, travel to and from work, gigs, kids, other work on it). I'm not really limping on the computer - it works fine, it just has limitations - it runs hefty final cut and logic sessions pretty well prior to this, so I'm happy with it generally, just want to try and sort this out. I'm aware that I could sort it by buying a new mac, but that's not an option.
Is anyone aware of anything useful which can be gleaned from the crash logs above, or any information which I can get at easily.
I've fixed most of the issues which occured from reinstating the OS from the drive today (ran the 10.6.8 combo update over the top which has sorted the OS issues (spotlight flashing, nothing running reliably - to only 4 bits of software not working), updated some of the software which was not functioning and it's now working (Ableton live) and so on, I'm just wondering what the problem actually is, so I can try and identify how to avoid it in the future. -

How to identify records deleted in APO live cache while loading into ODS
I am doing FULL load of data everday for APO DP from APO live cache into a ODS. Users at time delete some data from DP planning area. This subsequently needs to get deleted from the ODS.
How can I identify records that were deleted by the user and mark them as deleted in the ODS?
Note that the extractor only returns records that exist currently in the Live Cache.
Thanks for your help.Hi Jr,
I need your help again to fix the below problem please.
I have a query on Infoset with two ODS and linked with BillingDoc which exists in both ODS.
Sales Doc & Billing Doc Fields are in ODS1 and Billing Doc & Amount are in ODS2.
If matching BillingDoc is found in ODS2 then report should have Combined data (Sales Doc, Billing Doc & Amount), otherwise just Sales Doc & Billing Doc from ODS1 only.
Tried Inner Join and it gets only matching records.
Left Outer join with ODS1 on left side or Right side doesn't get the requested report.
I found in SDN that with Left Inner join we could get all data from ODS1 and Matching data from ODS2.
How could I get my requested data, PLEASE ?
Thanks,
Venkat. -
Here in India, and here when someone decides to buy a new Apple product ( Mac Series ) our dreams are partially killed by the folks at Apple India, Why you ask? Well we don't get to build our own computer! Yes, they have ( Apple India ) preconfigured a set of iMac's and we have to choose from those and those only, there is no " official " way to upgrade your iMac's Internals. (https://www.apple.com/in/imac/specs/ )
Now to my Question : Part ONE
Since my iMac HDD at purchase which was officially upgradable ( 1TB 5400RPM ) is too slow for Video Editing, and I want to upgrade to a Samsung 850 Pro series SSD, so I had contacted OWC to help me out, but they said that they couldn't find my iMac's model number anywhere so it got me to wonder what is happening...!
I conacted OWC to help me upgrade my Late 2013 21.5 Inch iMac 's RAM from 8GB to its maximum capacity that is 16GB, and to upgrade the 1TB HDD to a 1TB SSD, but they said that my iMac was no where to be found so I opened this page up and I was not able to find it also...( How to identify iMac models ) which got me worrying to the authenticity of the product.
Part TWO :
Is it safe to get an SSD upgrade and RAM upgrade as I saw the video for a 21.5 Inch iMac upgrade as it has to be opened up 100% till its last screw so was just wondering .
My iMac details :
Name : iMac14, 3 ( Late 2013, 21.5 Inch )
Processor :
2.9GHz
quad-core Intel Core i5 processor (Turbo Boost up to 3.6GHz) with 6MB L3 cache
NO Option for Core i7 was available.
RAM : 8GB (two 4GB) of 1600MHz DDR3 memory ( No 16GB Option was available through Apple! Not even for the 27 Inch Version! )
GPU : NVIDIA GeForce GT 750M graphics processor with 1GB of GDDR5 memory
HDD : 1TB HDD at 5400 RPM ( ABSOLUTELY No Option was given for Flash Storage or SSD or Fusion Drive )
OSX Version : OSX Mavericks 10.9.5
A BIG THANK YOU IN ADVANCE, and apologies for the enormous description of my issue!Your post was updated after mine was in transit...
Prior to first edit, that did not mention Thunderbolt.
By that time, I'd already posted once and then
had more info from a second browser window
that I had double-checked, & added a few words.
Nothing was missed, and my reply was not in
any way related to your comment. I said SSD
and Thunderbolt. Interchangeable w/ iMac HDD
at a later time, thus use clone or separate full
installation for that purpose. Bootable copy, etc.
Be that as it may, I am aware of the specs for the iMac 21.5"
models and you can also see them at everymac.com as well
as in the download database from http://mactracker.ca are
both adequate to compare specs. Also, the macsales.com
OWC site tells quite a bit.
The idea to use SSD and not HDD in the external could
suffice to avoid opening the iMac altogether if the result
was faster than unavailable? internal 7200 RPM upgrade.
The data rate via enclosure and Thunderbolt would likely
be a little slow using an SSD, but a running OS X can be
used from an external, as suggested. Note the data rate
that is published to be sure to get the best match SSD
for later installation inside the iMac 21.5.
I was not advocating a 7200-RPM spin rate HDD, instead
the idea was to compare the SSD in an external via
Thunderbolt, since it would barely be acceptable compared
to the internal data bus speed rate the internal HDD has
available to it...
To buy an external enclosure suitable for the SSD and set it
up as an alternative to the 5400-RPM internal 1TB, then at
a later time (pending location of pro service tech) swap it
into the computer; then internal 1TB could be installed in an
enclosure. That is, if both are compatible/interchangable &
can be used inside the iMac as well as an enclosure.
OWC has some fine examples of SSDs, as well as enclosures.
Some of their instruction videos are plausible, if you have the
model in question, and the model identification is correct to spec.
Besides, the 27-inch iMac Late-2013 sports a 7200-RPM HDD.
And up to 3TB capacity, and 1TB Flash. 32GB RAM, etc.
Anyway, I am not quibbling about semantics here.
Good luck & happy computing! -

ITunes for Windows 7 64 bit, Windows Live Mail Contacts not (all?) syncing
I have researched this as much as I can but cannot find a solution.
I had my iPhone 4 synced to my Window Vista Home Premium PC using iTunes just fine until January when the PC motherboard crashed. No data was lost and all contacts have been restored to my new PC with is Windows 7 Home Premium (64 bit). My contacts are in Windows Live Mail (Windows Contacts) and I'm syncing via iTunes with "Sync Contacts with: Windows Contacts" selected.
However, not all contacts are syncing with my iPhone. In fact, I'm not sure they are syncing at all, although the sync function goes through. It may be that the only ones that sync are those that existed before the new PC (i.e., the Windows Vista contacts which were in Windows Mail). I have created new contacts on both the PC using the new version Windows Live Mail and on the iPhone since the crash, and would like to get them synced up.
Symptoms:
1) Some specific contacts on PC are not on the iPhone after multiple sync attempts.
I have so far positively identified one contact that did not sync. It shows in Windows Live Mail under Contacts, however it does NOT show up in my Windows username/Contacts folder!
2) One Contacts group on PC is not on the iPhone, although two others are (they probably were from before the crash).
I have so far positively identified one group that did not sync. It shows in Windows Live Mail under Contacts groups, however it does NOT show up in my Contacts folder as a .group file!
3) The same group as #2 also does NOT show up in the iTunes group list under "Selected Groups" on iTunes, but the other two groups do. (I do not use "selected groups" because that disables "all contacts" syncing, but the groups are visible grayed out on the list.)
4) As a test, I created a new contact on my iPhone, synced, and it shows up now in Windows Live Mail Contacts; it also shows up in my Windows username/Contacts folder.
5) As a test, I created a new contact in Windows Live Mail and it does NOT show up in my username/Contacts folder. I synced the iPhone again and it does NOT show up on my iPhone contacts.
OK folks, where are these missing contacts going and how can I get them synced?? Thanks!
PS: I have the latest iTunes 10.5.3.3, no updates are available. However, Apple Support/iTunes seems to suggest Windows 7 64 bit either "does not use Windows Contacts" (which seemed quite wrong until I ran the tests above), and also that Windows 7 64 requires iTunes 10.4.1, which I cannot install because I have a later version installed. I would have assumed the correct version installed for my OS when I installed iTunes on the new PC. iTunes runs fine by itself and in coordination with my iPhone other than the above issue.
PPS: This site seems potentially relevant, however is highly technical: http://liveunplugged.wordpress.com/2011/02/04/windows-live-mail-contacts-databas e/
but doesn't help with this problem.I didn't get any help on this from the forum, but from studying around and experimenting with different approaches, I have come up with the following conclusions:
Under Windows Vista, Windows Mail synced its contacts with Windows Contacts [which are in c:\users\username\contacts]. iPhone via iTunes synced with Windows Contacts. Changes to either Windows Mail Contacts or iPhone contacts would always update each other. Life was good.
Under Windows 7, Windows LIVE Mail (WLM) does NOT sync its contacts with Windows Contacts. It puts them into a hidden database. If you have prior Windows Contacts and brought them along for the ride, they are still there in the folder but they are not connected to the WLM contacts database
When you first set up Windows Live Mail, you can import your Windows Contacts and they appear to be synced. (In fact, they are, but only at that single point in time.)
If you change any Windows Live Mail contact or add a new one, it does NOT change in Windows Contacts. It only changes in the WLM contacts database. It therefore does NOT sync to your iPhone.
Similarly, if you change a contact on iPhone or add a new one, it will sync with Windows Contacts. However, this does NOT update your Windows Live Contacts.
So, from what I can tell, here is what this means: to maintain a steady state, you have two choices:
Whenever you update or add a contact, add it in either iPhone or Windows Contacts [the Windows Contacts folder has a "New Contact" button], and they will stay in sync with each other. Then manually update or add it in Windows Live Contacts to keep those up to date so you can use them for e-mail. OR
Whenever you update or add a contact, add it in either iPhone or Windows Contacts, and they will stay in sync with each other. DO NOT manually update Windows Live Contacts, but realize they are not always up to date. If an address needed for an e-mail is not in there, manually retrieve it from your Windows Contacts or your iPhone and insert it into the e-mail. [Having done that, you can right click on the address in the e-mail and add it to your WLM contacts if you want.] Periodically, manually delete all of your Windows Live Mail Contacts and then re-import your Windows Contacts into Windows Live Mail and, voila, your contacts are in sync again! (Isn't that great, I mean really awful??)
NOTE: If you follow course #2, DO NOT import your Windows Contacts into Windows Live Mail contacts without deleting your existing Windows Live Mail contacts, or you will end up with a double set plus the new ones.
FURTHER NOTE: I obviously can't make any guarantee you won't lose data if you follow course #2. Be sure you have a complete backup before deleting your WLM contacts. However, I will say that after experiencing a double set of WLM contacts (by failing to understand the first NOTE above), it was impossible to pick out the new items [WLM will now show you the date of entry or modification of the contact, so you can't sort by date], so I deleted all of them and re-imported my Windows Contacts and had a complete set again.
AND ONE FINAL NOTE: I have not tested how any of this affects Windows Live Contacts used online outside of Windows Live Mail, because I do not use Windows Live online.
Please post further comments if you have any more information on this topic. -
How do I create multiple live USBs of Operating systems to boot from on one flashdrive?
How do I create multiple live USBs of Operating systems to boot from on one flashdrive?
I am attempting to create multiple live USBs within one flashdrive so that i can boot various operating systems without having to buy multiple USb sticks. I am using a Mac OS X Snow Leopard 10.6.8 Operating System currently. I am using the Terminal provided by the OS.
I would like to try Debian, Kali, Precise Puppy, and Sabayon- with one space left empty for whatever Linux OS I would like to try next. I have partitioned an 8GB flashdrive into the following sections:
name of intended OS, space allocated for it:
1)Debian ........................1.32 GB
2)Kali..............................2.61GB
3)Precise Puppy..............163.7MB
4)Sabayon.......................1.77GB
5)TBD..............................2.14GB
I have figured out how to change the .iso files of the operating systems into .img files with the following commands:
hdiutil convert -format UDRW /path/to/input.iso -o /path/to/output.img
a .img.dmg file is created, this is corrected in the next line of code *please note: I am a a very beginner at programming, and would greatly appreciate any help. Thank you!
mv /path/to/output/file.img{.dmg,}
This is where I started to get confused:
I entered diskutil list to find the location of the partitions on my flashdrive, and this is the relevant section:
/dev/disk1
#: TYPE NAME SIZE IDENTIFIER
0: FDisk_partition_scheme *8.0 GB disk1
1: DOS_FAT_32 DEBIAN 1.3 GB disk1s1
2: DOS_FAT_32 KALI 2.6 GB disk1s2
3: DOS_FAT_32 PRECISE 163.7 MB disk1s3
4: DOS_FAT_32 SABAYON 1.8 GB disk1s5
5: DOS_FAT_32 TBD 2.1 GB disk1s6
This is the code I attempted to use and the subsequent result:
charles-burtons-mac-mini:~ charlesburton$ sudo dd if=/Users/charlesburton/Desktop/debian-live-7.2-i386-gnome-desktop.img of=/dev/disk1s1 bs=1m
dd: /dev/disk1s1: Resource busy
*at this point I went to the Disk Utility GUi and unmounted only the DEBIAN partition, now back to the terminal*
charles-burtons-mac-mini:~ charlesburton$ sudo dd if=/Users/charlesburton/Desktop/debian-live-7.2-i386-gnome-desktop.img of=/dev/disk1s1 bs=1m
dd: /dev/disk1s1: end of device
1259+0 records in
1258+1 records out
1320005632 bytes transferred in 1011.966891 secs (1304396 bytes/sec)
Please may someone help explain why I had a return value of +1 in my records in and how I can make it work properly.I would like to know the answer to this as well. I tried renaming the 3D version by adding 3D after it, but it still not a separate movie in iTunes.
It's putting them in the same folder. -

What is a "live bookmark," and how can I make sure none of my bookmarks are live?
I'm trying to reduce Firefox's voluminous automatic Internet communication (see previous thread at https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/968773#question-reply for background). As far as I know, I have not subscribed to any news-feeds nor clicked on "subscribe to this page."
One thing I don't understand is how to tell whether any of my bookmarks are "live," or whether any of the sites I normally visit automatically refresh their open pages on my browser. I can find no entries on Mozilla Support that even explain what a "live bookmark" is.
Can somebody please:
1) define a "live bookmark,"
2) tell me how to identify one in my bookmarks sidebar (or elsewhere),
3) tell me how to change any "live bookmark" into and ordinary (dead) bookmark, and
4) tell me how to prevent any open Web pages from automatically updating on my browser? (Internet Explorer used to have options for when a page should be updated, including "never.")
I'm currently running Firefox 24.0 under Windows XP SP3. Thanks in advance! -- JCW2See the [[How to stop Firefox from automatically making connections without my permission]] article.
Live bookmarks, are not enabled by defualt, unless you enable them (the item will always show).

How to identify an order generated by heuristics run or entered manually
Hello Gurus,
Is there any way to identify an order in the distribution receipt keyfigure in SNP planning book is generated by heuristics run or entered manually.
Thanks,
Siva.Hi Siva,
Please get me answer for the following:
Go to transaction /sapapo/rrp3 and create a order manually by entering future date and a positive qty.
Press enter and execute the popup.
There should be an order created. if it is inhouse production, ti would be a planned order and if it is external, it would be a purchase requisition.
Now,
in the command prompt window (this is where you enter the transaction codes in SAP window- Top left blank window) enter "GT_IO". This should get you to live cache view.
Question:
1. What is the order category for the order created? ( AJ or EE or EA or...)
2. Are you following the above procedure or using SNP planning book to create your orders.
if not both please explain your procedure step by step as I did.
