Idoc issue - canbe fixed with enhancement?

Hi idoc Gurus,
I have issue related to idoc.
We have extended the DEBMAS with one custom segment(Z1KNA13).
Custom segment(Z1KNA13) has three fields. one of the field is to store customer's second address line(cust_address2).
When someone changes the customer's second address line in Mainframe. It updates the same in SAP.
And in WE05 under segment Z1KNA13
Field                                         Value
cust_address2                       B. P. road
But if someone deletes the customer's second address line in Mainframe, it does not deletes the same in SAP.
And in WE05 under segment Z1KNA13
Field                                         Value
Even field "Field" is empty.
Could anyone help me to figure out, where the problem could be.

Could you please clarify if my understanding is correct..
You are receiving the IDoc from the Mainframe...When you change the Customer Master in Mainframe then the MAinframe sends an IDoc to SAP with the change vales....the issue when deleting the record might be from mainframe side wherein they do trigger the IDoc exchange interface only for change and not for delete...if that is the case then you may have to extend your Idoc with another update indicator which states whether to change or delete the address record...
and based on the update indicator you can update or delete the record in the IDoc processing in SAP end...
Why I guess this is because you have sadi that the value in the IDoc field is empty..so if mainframe doesnot send the value in IDoc you will not get the value in SAP also...

IDOC issue: updates MM02 with WF-BATCH instead the current job user

We have a nightly scheduled batch job that changes the material master through IDOC. The IDOC processing for material master update is successful, except the changes are done with the WF-BATCH user id instead of the user who submits the job step. We are using SAP ECC 5.0. Can anyone help me on this where to change the settings/changes. Appreciate your help in advance.

WF-BATCH - is an ID in SAP which processes batch workflow tasks.
So if your IDOC posting triggers workflow task - it's going to be processed by WF-BATCH.

Screen junk issue not fixed with 10.5.2

I'm still getting intermittent screen junk on my 30" monitor on my Mac Pro and also on my MacBook Pro. I was kind of hoping 10.5.2 would have fixed that. Nope.
And Apple's web team needs to get on the ball and add a 10.5.2 option for the OS drop down menu option in the entry screen where I'm entering this.

After reading about the problem in the April issue of MacWorld, page 96 I think, I brought the computer over to the Apple store, showed them the article, and they ordered me a new graphics card (well, it was a little more difficult and time-consuming than that, but you get my drift) - a more recent version of the card.
Et voila!!! No more screen junk. Isn't that kewl?

RSS Problems not fixed with 10.5.2

I've upgraded to Mac OS 10.5.2 and I'm still having the same problems with RSS feeds as I did before in both Mail and Safari. I am unable to receive new RSS articles to Mail or Safari. Apple said that this issue was fixed with 10.5.2 but it wasn't for me. Please help.

Iphone 6 won't work with my Bluetooth in car- Apple needs to admit this is issue and fix it!

Ever since I got my IPhone 6 two weeks ago it has failed to make any type of connection with my GM car Blue Tooth device. I have read the forums on here and attempted all the fixes- none of them worked. Reset just about everything on the phone, reset about everything on the car BT device- no dice. Phone just keeps spinning and saying 'Devices' but never connects to one.
Now here is the kicker, I reached out to Apple Support who told me to 'reset' again. Went ahead and did so even though I told Support I tried this several times, still no dice. Apple Support tells me to go to Apple Store and they will get it to work. Went to the store, shocking that I talked to like 3-4 other people in the store that were also having BT issues with IOS8, on all types of Iphones. The Apple employee had me (guess what) 'reset' everything for like the 100th time since I got the phone, no dice. Here is the kicker, the Apple employee pulled her phone out and went to the BT and she couldn't get a connection to the BT device in the store. Instead of admitting that she too was having issues, she instead quickly closed her BT APP hoping I wouldn't see that she was having issues. Instead she gives me a brand new IPhone and tells me to go home and do all the downloads and it should work. Talk about the all time push off, went ahead and did it and same problem as before. She then tells me if the problem continues to go to GM and tell them to do a firmware update. I was like 'come again', you want me to just drive up to Detroit to GM headquarters and go tell their CEO to do a firmware update. This is super frustrating, my job is on the road, I need BT to work since I live in a state that you have to drive hands free.
I am out of ideas and don't know what to do, I really wish Apple would just come out and put a IOS FIX on this and admit to fact that the BT is an issue. Stuck with this dang phone now, so tired of it and Apple now.

TS4088 Was this issue fixed with Mountain Lion? in Snow Leopard 10.6.8 is fixed, Lion not fixed... and Mountain Lion ?

I rolled back to Snow Leopard to fix this issue, I wondered if Apple fix this in Mountain Lion?...anyone there with a Mid 2010 MBP 15" with the display issue upgraded to Mountain Lion and the issue was fixed?.... Please let me know.

Leopard ATI Radeon X1900 XT Freezing Issue, fixed with 10.5.2?

Mac Pro (8-core) original 3.0Ghz 8 core. Purchased October 2007. Ran Tiger 10.4.10 from the box. updated to 10.4.11. ATI Firmware update was not required as it was pre-installed. Never had a crash. Installed Leopard 2 days after release. Installed 10.5.1 the day of release. No problems so far...
A week later watching the "Jelly" iTunes Visualizer, the Screen froze, but iTunes kept playing... The machine was reachable over SSH but very much useless as a reboot command hung. Hard reset, went about my business. A day later unit froze during iTunes Jelly Visualizer again. this time music also crashed. As I approached to reboot the unit noticed very loud video card fan noise. Extracted the burning hot card, later compress air removed some clogging dust bunnies. Reinstalled card and no more freezes for 2 weeks. Freezes again, this time watching youtube in Safari. Made sure data backup is up to date. Performed an Archive and Install of leopard, ran all updates to 10.5.1. This time Mac Pro was fine for a week .... *Freeze*.
Called apple care, after having to explain to a rep what itunes visualizer was, referred to iPod specialist, who transfered me to Mac Pro specialist, 1 hour later, thoroughly explain issues to rep, who after 45 minutes was convinced issue with HW and not SW . Apple sends Do It Yourself repair video card. I replaced it. 4 days later unit Froze again. This time watching movie on VLC...
A week later 10.5.2 was released, and shortly thereafter Leopard Graphics Update 1. So far **nervously knock on wood** no more freezes. I am hoping that whatever black magic was included in these recent updates fixes the Leopard crashes with ATI Radeon X1900 XT. Needless to say this is the last ATI Radeon I "buy".

Spoke too soon. Today as I was leaving the house I set the Mac Pro to sleep. When I attempted to wake the machine upon return, display 1 became all garbled. Display 2 was still visible and the mouse moved, but I was not able to click any windows. I ssh'd in with my macbookpro and was able to do a "sudo reboot". In the process it got stuck and in a loop I received:

Additional things to try.
Try this first. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.

Another thing to try - Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.

Note - When troubleshooting wifi connection problems, don't hold your iPad by hand. There have been a few reports that holding the iPad by hand, seems to attenuate the wifi signal.

Transporting issue with Enhancement spot

Now i have an issue when transport the enhancement spot, we have two clients, one is for developpment, and one is for testing, i found that there is an enhancement spot exists on the testing client but not exists on the developping client. And i found that the enhancement spot is deleted by myself. Is there anyone who can help me to transport the deletion from the developping client to testing client?

In SAP BI, queries are compound of wide range of objects of "Query element" type (R3TR - ELEM).
Please, check if all associated Query elements are actually being transported. One way of making sure of this is preparing the transport through the "Transport connection" in RSA1 transaction. You can choose "Only necessary objets" in the Grouping type, drag and drop the query to the right pane and then make sure all necessary objects are checked.

Query reg Variable Substitution with enhanced interface mapping

The scenario is IDoc to file using enhanced interface determination (message split based on some conditions) and the output file name should be based on a field value in the IDoc. So, I've tried using Variable Substitution Option in the receiver file adapter. But it's failing with the error 'com.sap.aii.adapter.file.varsubst.VariableDataSourceException'.
My question is does Variable Substitution works with Enhanced Interface Determination? Bcoz the outcome of interface determination is a main and sub payload.

Purchase Order Outbound Idoc issue. Message Type ORDER

Hi Experts,
I am having issue with outbound IDoc generated from Purchase Order.(Message Type ORDER and Basic Type ORDERS05)
Issue is when i create PO idoc Segment E1EDP01 and field ACTION populates as 001 this works fine.
Now when made any changes to the purchase order.* PO trigers one more EDI - Idoc. but the ACTION field is stil as 002.*
Could any tell me how to fix this.

Below three setting was missing same has been done in Partner Profile now ok.
Message type u2013 ORDCHG, Processing Code u2013 ME11 and Change flag On.

When will Office 2013 Offline File Cache for IE add in work with Enhanced mode?

The Office 2013 Document Cache Uploader IE Plugin is incompatible with IE 11 running in enhanced mode.
I read that enhanced security mode was enabled by default in Win8 so Microsoft can collect information and advise third party plug-in developers they need to update their stuff to work with it. Then in November, Microsoft started shipping Win8 with enhanced
security disabled. But Win8.1 now ships with enhanced mode enabled... But... Microsoft's own plug-in with the latest versions don't work with it. The solution / workaround is to disable enhanced protection mode. (I don't see this
as a solution for me, my last virus infection because of insecure IE cost me over $400 to fix.) When are you going to fix your own stuff? Or will you retire it like a bunch of other goodies ripped out of Win8. And Server 2012. And Exchange
2013........Lastpass.com has their plug-in working with enhanced mode... Why can't you fix it? Should not be that tough to fix and to include it in a Office update....

Hope there will be a fix soon....This should not be marked as 'answer'. You simply state the fact that it is broken as I did and to disable IE Enhanced (warning/warning) and that is not an answer or a workaround..
Somebody please at least look at it and come up a quick and cheap, down and dirty way to add this to the trusted zones so it will work? then you can mark as answer. Everyone there at Microsoft sitting around waiting for someone else

In this respect, the product is a Lemmon. I already moved to the cloud for Exchange like they wanted me to, by crippling connection with this to my church's Exchange 2003 server.
It seems the master plan behind this release is to disable function with Server2003 to drive more Exchange server or Cloud hosting sales. Please make sure the product does what it did before, before you take my money and turn off the lights on important
feature oversites.
Any way to hack into Office 2010 and load its cache uploader to run in enhanced zone, or put a link or dll in the trusted zone to make this feature work again? Can someone at Microsoft at least get it on the project board or bump it up a hundred spaces
on priority list? Maybe offer a bonus to the programmer that fixes it. A weekend on the hiking trail or kayak excursion, or rock-climbing pass.. Microsoft guys like that outdoors kinds of stuff and will work like crazy to get it.

Regarding Idoc issue

I have triggered the Idoc from R/3 to XI.
For the statue 30: I can see the text as:
Receiver exists , No filters , No conversion , No version change
Please let me know the meaning of this.
can we use any code page conversion parameter in ALE to convert the data.
Issue is like:
In the Idoc I am getting the data correctly. But when the Idoc sent to XI with the help of batch run it went with some invalid character set. (I have checked inbound message payload in XI)
I have re-triggered the same Idoc manually using the logon language as chenese and now it went to XI with the correct Chinese character set.
Please guide me why it is transferred to Xi with Invalid data for the first time ?

I will explain you oit clearly.We are sending idoc to XI.
we have 2 cases here:
1st case:
Idoc triggered for the first time and in data segements we can see the data as:
name : ³£ÖÝÊÐ°²½°Ù»õÓÐÏÞ¹«Ë¾ --this is in data segment.
In XI (Inbound payload) we see the same data: (Inbounb payload )
My doubt is when the same idoc triggered for the first time the data conversion is not done and when the same Idoc is triggered manually the data conversion happend and we se the correct data in chinese format.

Tearing/Sync issues on G5 with X800XT

I recently bought a refurbished G5 2x2.0Ghz with 512mg Ram with an ATI X800 XT card in it. I'm running 10.4.3 and the firmware on the graphics card has been updated to the current spec.
When I watch anything with fast motion such as an .avi or .mov there is tearing horizontally across the screen but I don't know why. My machine is plugged via a DVI cable into a Samsung26" LCD.
Has anyone experienced this and figured out a fix? I saw that there was a long thread about the ATI cards but I checked and the problematic driver isn't installed and this thread mainly dealt with Panther. My machine has a very clean system with hardly anything other than the standard installed. I use VLC for viewing .avis.
If anyone can help I'd greatly appreciate it as I'm using the G5 as a media centre so obviously it's not ideal if I have this constant tearing or sync issues.

check out this thread and tell me if it is the same thing you are seeing in your video interface..if so then it might be a Tiger issue with OpenGL (maybe)?. I am on the same OS but with a different card and system(Quad) ..I get it in garage band which for the most part has a moving interface. I did get it to go away but not using my wacom tablet but others have removed theirs and it still exists..but on another note I am still having OpenGL issues in other areas. OpenGL is supposed to be an area of fixes with the 10.4.4 update coming soon.

IDOC in transformation step with multi mapping

I have found this posting
Splitting a message into multiple Idocs
and now I am a little bit afraid that our planned process using BPM is not working:
a) XI receives an IDOC
b) XI continues with calling an external system sync.
c) Sync message response and IDOC are used to be merged into one new message M using transformation step (2 messages into 1 new)
d) send message M to receiver
Now I have read (see link) that IDOCs cannot be used in such multimapping steps. Is this true?
Can anybody give some information?

So I think there is a misunderstanding in using the "multimapping" term?
Multimapping in a simple Interfacemapping for 1 sender to n receiver is different from the "multimapping" issue in a transformation step in BPM?
The central assumption in the mentioned blog was:
IDOC cannot be used in multimapping because IDOC adapter runs on ABAP engine.
In BPM transform step we are on Java side and using XML payload! So this will set us apart from the IDOC adapter ABAP engine issue?
That would be nice!
