Idoc to Muliple file

Hi All,
I have a scenario idoc to file but the catch is 2 file need to send one with idoc details and the other one just a constant to be sent. for this I hope we need to BPM using fork.
My question is can we avoid BPM and would it possible in recevier determination itself my have XI 3.0 with SP19.

Thanks sorry for late reply had issue with other interface. I think we cannot give both the message mapping in single interface because in receiver agreement as we want to use two communciation channel where we will be specifying the inbound interface name separately.
Now eveything is working fine and i get two files and I configured as 1RD, 1ID, 1SA and 2 RA.
But currently the issue is with the filename because the user expect the filename with the sametimestap. Can you tell me how to achieve this.
currently I getting as below... I tried executing n times but same result.
ackmatmas20070820-040257-620.dat ->acknowledgement file
matmas20070820-040255-018.dat-> actual file.

Regarding receiver determination problem in IDOC-XI-XML file scenario

Dear All ,
In IDOC-XI-xml file scenario , I have configured SLD , IR . But in ID , after file adapter , reciever agreement configuration when I am doing receiver determination configuration I am not able to insert mapping program in configuration overview of receiver determination as I am not getting "New Specific" option in mapping .
Can anybody suggest what could be the reason behind this .

Hi PRabhat,
In RCVR determination, you need to select the party & service (as appropriate) save the obeject
then refresh the configuration overview of recr det.
then you can see the partner/service
then you can open it & add the necessary objects.

IDOC writing to file takes a while.

Hello, I would like to request if anyone can advice how can we analyze why the creation or writing of an IDOC to a file takes a long while, say it takes 15 minutes to be created. Wherein in production system, it only take 1 or 2.

Yes, actually that is the problem. In an example idoc, below is the technical info for the idoc, it took 15 minutes to create the file.
Time of creation
Date                   08.11.2011
Time                   10:35:30
Last database update
Date                   08.11.2011
Time                   10:50:26
Can you advice how can we know or check the background processing? or is there a way? thanks.

IDOC to FTP File - Error : SAP:Stack No receiver agreement found for send

Hello Friends,
I need to configure a senario Idoc to FTP File, Í did required settings in R3 and in PI... , did mapping and configuratino in PI... and when I send my idoc I got error msg in monitor
<SAP:Stack>No receiver agreement found for sender ,BMG_ASN_File_Component to receiver ,GTN_224,http://adis-bmg.de/asn,SI_BMG_ASN</SAP:Stack>
I search the fourm but did not got my answer, me just a bit confused...
In my senario I have having followings:
1. Bussiness System ( RFT : sender R3 system). ( I have define a party and make a connection under Idoc Partner )
2. Bussiness Component ( ZTEST_COMP as on Reciever side is File Server, so I define the reciver as bussiness component )
3. Communicatin Channel
 File with protocol FTP having communicatin component as my Bussiness Component ( reciver ). there I defied the required info for FTP
4. Reciever Determination
 Sender:
 - RFT
 - Idoc-Interface
 - urn:sap-com:document:sap:idoc:messages
 Reciever
 communication party = space
 communicatin component = ZTEST_COMP
 Configure Reciever:
 There I again define the communication component as ( ZTEST_COMP)
5. Interface Determination
 -RFT
 - Idoc-Interface
 - urn:sap-com:document:sap:idoc:messages
 Reviever:
 ZTEST_COMP
and define the mapping which I did in design ( although I have seen some threads where mentioned we dont need maaping in this case ) ?
6. Reciver agrement
sender:
- RFT
Reviver:
- ZTEST_COMP
- SI interface ( SI_BMG_ASN )
- http://test-etc.de/asn
and included my CC for file .....
Now when I send Idoc I got error msg that Reciver is not found : am I dong something wrong ? do I have to defien a bussiness system instead of Bussiness Component ?

Do you really need a party in your communication? Should it not be a partly-less communication.
In the receiver agreement ensure that you have included the inbound message interface.
communication party = space
No need to give any space.
In the Interface Determination i hope that you have included the receiver meessage interface and then the corresponding Interface Mapping.
If still not works then make some dummy changes and again activate....correspondingly check the cache status of the ID-objects

IDoc to Flat File in SAP PI 7.11

Hi Experts,
I am working on PI 7.11 and I have scenario from Idoc to Flat File.
Idoc is posted from source side R/3 system.My requirement is "With out Converting the Idoc structure to XML Structure i want to send the data to Target system i.e. File system.
But the structure of the target structure is different from source structure.
My questions are:
1). Is it Possible to send the data to Target system without converting Idoc structure in to xml format through our PI 7.11 ?
2). If possible please provide me the way that executes in the Interface is?
Could you please provide the Inputs.

Doubts in SAP(Idoc)-XI-Flat file scenario

Dear All,
I am sending Delivery Idoc from R/3 and I am able to view the Idoc in XI in transaction IDX5. Also i m able to see the XML structure with the data of the idoc in SXMB_MONI.
Now as per my scenario I have to download this to a flat file from XI.
My question is, should I have to do the creation of Data types, message types, mapping interface & interface mapping in IR or should I directly do the designing in the ID.

DT, MT, MI : you will create these things for receiver flat file only.
First create
In Integration Repository :
1.     Import structure of IDOC in your scenario, In imported objects  IDOCs
              a.     In Interface Objects
1.     Create Data type for your flat file
2.     Create Message Type
3.     Create Message Interface (inbound Asy.)
              b.     In Mapping Objects
1.     Message Mapping : IDOC to Message Type of Flat File.
2.     Create Interface Mapping : IDOC to Flat file by using Message Mapping which you have created.
Make activate all these things.
In Integration Directory :
1.     Create Communication channel for File Receiver.
2.     Sender Communication channel is not required.
3.     Create Receiver Agreement.
4.     Sender Agreement is not required.
5.     Interface Determination
6.     Receiver Determination
At sender side you will take your IDoc and at receiver side you will take your flat file.

Hi Manish
We are using a standard IDOC called PROACT.PROACT01
(We are using transaction sa38(Report RSMIPROACT) in R/3 to send our IDOC.)
First we create the technical and business systems in SLD
Second we transfer these to the repository.(I think the only thing you need to do is to update the SLD cache to get them there - Design : Integration builder --> Environment --> clear SLD cache)
Then we just use the configuration wizard(Configuration : Integration builder --> Tools --> configuration wizard) to map everything together - defining sender and receiver etc(You get the configuration wizard tool by patching XI to patch level 4 or 5).
I assume that you have made all the configurations accordingly to the XI configuration guide which you can download from the service marketplace.
This is just a hint but maybe it can give you a start.

Idoc to Multiple file scenario

Hi Experts,
My scenario is IDOC to Multiple files..
IDOC will be triggered from the ECC system and i have three differient structures and need to drop those 3 files in the ftp server at the target system.
Here we can use multimapping for such scenario but the problem here is ..
In my scenario for all the 3 mappings i am using combination of message mapping and xslt mapping as below
1st case:
Idoc -
Message mapping -
Target First File.
XSLT Mapping1
XSLT Mapping2
XSLT Mapping3
XSLT Mapping4 -
The output of the xslt 4th mapping will go to the target ftp server
In similar for the other 2 mappings also uses the combination of messag mapping and xslt mapping.
Here as the receiver system is one in the interface determination (PI 7.1-- NO Enhanced determination)when i add these operation mapping in the interface determination when i execute the scenario all the operation mappings are not getting executed.
For example;; If the first target file has no records then it is not executing the 2nd operaion mapping, does the occurence of the operation mapping needs to changed.
could anyone suggest on this..

Hi,
Why cannot you use three mappings when you want to generate the three files for the same input instead of multimapping as the multimapping generates either of the three messages only...
you can later provide the condition at the interface determination to execute the mappings if not all mappings to be executed..
if there are no conditions provided by you at the interface determination level then mappings will get executed automatically..
provided your mapping is working fine..so in your case check /test the message mapping..

IDOC to XML file scenario with party

Hi All,
I am developing a IDOC to XML file scenario with party in which I have extended the MATMAS idoc and configured the receiver FILE communication channel.
But its giving me the error *"No receiver could be determined"* with party. If I run the same scenario without the sender party its working fine.
And sender is my R/3 system under party P_Party and receiver is my third party system under P_Party.

U can give a try as follows.
In the Partner Profile of Sender R/3 system,
Give the Receiver Party P_Party in the PartnerNo. Give the 'Business Partner' as logical System type.
In XI, Party Definition of P_Party
Give the following Alternative Identifier
Agency -   Sender R/3 Business System
Scheme -   ALE#GP
Value    -    P_Party

IDOC to flat File----Problem in File Content Conversion at receiver

hi experts,
I am doing a IDOC to flat file secnario.
My requirment is IDOCXI-Flat file
Format of flat file is like:--
Every segment in the IDOC will be converted into a single line of file(without any delimiter). So number of lines in flat file will be equal to number of segments in IDOC.
I am facing problem in File Content conversion.
Please help me out..

Is graphical mapping best for a large IDoc mapping to file?

Hello,
I have to map an IDoc to a file and 450+ lines are mandatory or needed to go a file output. A lot of the lines need some value mapping. Is XSLT or Java mapping better for this task?

Hi,
If you require to do a lot of lookups and for large payloads, it would make sense to go for a Java mapping as in this case it would improve performance to some extent.

Idoc to flat file using Integration process does not show up at all

Hello All,
I created a scenario IDOC to Flat File using Integration Process and one without IntegrationProcess. I am able to execute the one without Integration Process easily.
However when I send the IDOC from SAP then the Integration Process scenario just does not work.
I Checked SXMB_MONI There is no entry for the Integration Process.I can see entry for other without Integration Process.
SXI_CACHE : I can see my Integration Process active
SWEQADM : I have activated the Event Queue and Background job
SWF_XI_ADM_BPE : ALL BPE is showing green status.
All syntax check on IP are fine.
There is no Basis Help for me so there could be some additional basis steps which need to be configured. Has anyone faced such an issue with Integration Process?

Hope this might help you. when u configure an IDoc as Sender with BPM this is how you proceed.
1. let us split the scenario into two.
a. Sender to BPM ( Integration Process).
b. BPM to Receiver.
2. First let us configure the first Sender to BPM.
a. Sender Agreement( Not required ).
b. Receiver Agreement( NOT Required).
c. Receiver Determination( Sender Service, Outbound Interface, Receiver Service(Integration Process).
d. Interface Determination( Inbound Interface(Sender Abstract Interface), Message Mapping(NOT Required if your using transformation stepin Integration Process)).
3. Now let us configure the Second BPM to Receiver.
a. Sender Agreement( NOT Required)
b. Receiver Agreement( Sender Service(Integration process), Receiver Abstarct Interface,Receiver service, Inbound Interface).
c. Receiver Determination( Sender Service(Integration Process), Receiver Abstarct Interface,Receiver Service).
d. Interface Determination( Inbound Interface, Message Mapping(NOT Required)).
So Finally we have One Receiver Agreement, Two Receiver Determinations, Two Interface Determinations.

IDOC to flat file and vice versa

Dear community,
we should send IDOCs to flat files and read plain files and map them to IDOCs.
Is there any comfortable way to do this without doing a huge content conversion for
IDOCs? Exist a SAP standard for such process?
We receive the IDOC as normal IDOC. Would it be more easy to save the IDOCs
directly as flat file on ERP file system??

Hey folks!
We have a PI 7.31 SPS5 Java-only installation here and are using the module IDOCFlatToXmlConvertor. For single IDocs with one line for the EDC_DC40 header and the others for the IDoc payload the conversion works. But when we want to process multiple IDocs from the same type within one file, we see this error in the log:
Module Exception 'com.sap.aii.af.idoc.exception.IDOCModuleException: No data segments for DOCNUM = ' found, cause: <null>
Are there any requirements how the multiple IDocs have to be structured within the file?

Update:
I found out that the module wants each record to contain the corresponding DOCNUM to find the matching records. The non-SAP sender system normally does not set this value. Is there a way to "convince" the module to convert the IDocs nevertheless?

IDoc to Flat file scenario - abap mapping

Hi All,
I have to do some IDOC to Flat file scenarios. In Order to generate the file in required format I will have to add all segments(Nodes) of Idoc in FCC receiver. We also have other option of doing it through ABAP Mapping which I found in one blog.
Now my question is : Is it better way of doing it through FCC or ABAP Mapping?
Ofcourse from development point of view ABAP Mapping looks easier as FCC is very time consuming task.
Is there and performance issues in either of the approach?
