IDOC: WMMBXY inbound status.

If we get and error processing an inbound goods issue ,how can we inform the sending system that the inbound message failed?

You will have to send another IDOC which will let the sender know that the INBOUND FILE received had errors.

EDI / IDoc : While posting inbound IDocs, IDocs gets into status 56

EDI / IDoc : While posting inbound IDocs, IDocs gets into status 56 with message "EDI: Sender port in control record is invalid".
But if I reprocess the same idoc without doing any changes using RBDINPUT and select radio button to processs idocs for status 56, then it gets successfully posted.
So not getting why this stucks for the first time.

EDI idoc inbound statuses

We're running SAP in a different partition from EDI (TrustedLink) on an iSeries. I'm getting inbound documents just fine, but no inbound statuses. I see that the status documents make it over to the SAP partition but they're not visible in WE05 - so all of my successful outbound 850s are at at status of 18 & that's it. I've looked at authorities etc but am still missing something. Thanks in advance if anyone can point me in the right direction. Susan

enter tcode we21,
Go to system , click on status
Then you can see the programe name , Double click on programe name, you can see ABAP editior screen.
Then you can see go to tan and click on object directry Tab.
You can see package for which object is created.
Now use tocde Smod, select F4 for enchancement , in package you can enter SED.
You can get follwing user exit
Exit name Short text
SIDOC001 Customer function for module pool EDI1
SIDOC002 CA-EDI: Exits in Function Group EDI6 (Partner Profile)
Technically all EDI-IDOC inbound and outbound programs are wirtten as FUCNTION MODUELS.In the every fucntion moudle you can find large number of user-exits.For outbound idoc after filling every segment you have a user exit like CALL CUSTOMER FUNCITON '001'.You can find by using the keyword search CALL CUSTOMER FUNCITON in that funciton module.
In inbound also you can find after every segment you can find user-exit.
For funciton module search you can search in se37 by using idoc type,For example ORDERS01 search in se37 by using *ORDERS8.

Good Receipt Reversal using Idoc WMMBXY

Hi to all,
I've the following issue in a 4.6C R/3.
I want to reverse a Goods Receipt from Purchase Order (MB01; goods movement 102) using inbound idoc WMMBXY.
When I try to reverse some quantity in the PO of a material position without batch, there's no problem, the Idoc enter and reversal goes well.
But when I try to reverse some quantity (i.e. 3 PCE) of a material position not batch managed, Idoc goes in status 51 and gives following error:
"Deficit of PU GR quantity 3 PCE : [MATERIAL] [PLANT] [ST.LOC] [BATCH]
Message no. M7 021"
Anyone can help me?

IDOC WMMBXY outbound - R3 idoc posting error

Hi! All
In a file(inbound) to IDOC scenario using the IDOC WMMBXY.WMMBID02(outbound), i have the following status notification and status grouping is also in red when the idoc is posted to R3...
IDOC: 0000000000605076 Status: Application document not posted
Qty and / or "delivery completed" ind. or final issue ind. are missing
It would be very helpful, if you can let me know ...what i did wrong in the mapping/design.

The error states:

So please check in the idoc whether you are passing the values for Qty and "delivery completed" or final issue ind. I think to post into R3 you need to have these values.

SM58 - IDoc adapter inbound: IDoc data record table contains no entries

Trying to send Idocs from SAP ECC6.0 via PI 7.0 up until 2 days ago there was no problem.
Since yesterday, only one specific type of Idoc does not make it into XI (PI). In the Idoc monitor (WE02) the idocs that were created gives status 3 which is good. But all Idocs of that specific type (ZRESCR01) does not go to XI. I can only find them bakc in SM58 where it gives the following message:
IDoc adapter inbound: IDoc data record table contains no entries
I have checked SAP notes 1157385 and also 940313, none of them gives me any more insight into this error. I have also checked all the configuration in WE20, SM59, and in XI (repository and directory) and in XI IDX1, IDX2 but could not find anything that would cause this. I can also not think of anything that changed since 2 days ago.
Please point me in the right direction.

i think in sm 58 u can find entries only when there is some failure in login credential .
if there is change in IDoc structure than you have to reimport the idoc metadata defination at IDX2.otherwise not requird.
please check the logical system name pointing to the your requird target system....
please also verify thet your port should not be blocked.

No authorization for changing Customer Centrally- Idoc in Error Status 51

Hi Experts,
We are implementing MDM for one of the client.
The client runs a modification scenario in MDM for Customer Master.
He modifies a customer record in MDM and this record is transfered from MDM to ECC via PI through Idocs.
We are using standard Idocs for Customer Master which is DEBMDM
There are 2 Idoc's generated in ECC by PI from DEBMDM as DEBMAS and ADRMAS.
ADRMAS Idoc is succesfull in ECC and the corresponding record is modified.
Now the issue is that the corresponding DEBMAS Idoc goes into Error 51.
The Error details is as below:
                                                                                No authorization for changing vendor Centrally
Message no. F2326
System Response
You cannot access the requested data.
Procedure for System Administration
If necessary, include an entry in the user's authorization profile for
    the authorization object and parameters specified below.
Authorization object:
o   F_KNA1_APP
Parameters:
o   Activity: 02
    o   Application authorization : *
We gave the respective authorization object to the RFC User ID used in PI RFC created to connect to ECC.
Also we have given the user id Tcode authorization like XD01/02/03.
But this error still persists.
Request to throw some light on this.

IDoc adapter inbound channel: Error Fehler beim Le

Hello,
I have a BIG problem. I want to use IDOC - XI - IDOC. I have configured the connections. But when I send the Idoc to the XI. it returns a code in the SM58 "IDoc adapter inbound channel: Error Fehler beim Le" The Message comes cut, it doesn't return all the message. In the XI doesn't give me any error, nothing. The IDOC says thta it has been sent correctly (Code 3). How can I trace the IDOC from de sender to the XI?
I wanted to use the IDOC HRMD_A06 but now i'm trying with SYIDOC to see if it passes.
Can Someone help me?

Inbound and outbound connections should be secured by Secure Network Communication (SNC).
Is that correct? maybe that's why it says the that error

Idoc in 64 status not getting released

HI experts,
I have inbound idocs in 64 status they ar getting processed in a slower speed but i saw that there are few idocs of some previous date whihch are still in 64 status.
Any idea why they are not getting processed??
is there any logic which say give priority to current date idocs first????
all the configuration are in place to make it processe it immediatly.
i am not able to understand ahy they are not getting processed.
please guide me.

Hello,
I have seen these situations in some occasions. These inbound IDOCs are set to process immediately to the application; but at that very moment there are no free processors to handle them. So they stay in status 64. The work-around is to schedule BD64 to take care of these rare situations.

Email on Idoc Failure with Status 56 64 68 69 70

We have standard inbound idoc processing for Basic Type : DELVRY01 and Message Type : DESADV using the function module IDOC_INPUT_DESADV1.
We currently have a requirement to send an email, when any of these type of Idocs fail with status 56, 64, 68, 69 and 70.
Where would be best place to provide this solution to send an email to a particular user when the Idoc fails with the above status?

One approach would be to consider workflow based on object type IDOCAPPL. The start condition for the workflow could be the triggering of the event errorProcessCompleted. You could filter further by status and your message type (DESADV ) to only start the workflow for the errors that you mentioned. The workflow could then send an email.
You will need to verify the details for your own scenario.

PAYEXT IDOC has recurring statuses

We are using the standard message type PAYEXT to send IDOCs to banks for payments to vendors. The IDOCs are set to be created via F110 payment run. Then a periodically scheduled job for RSEOUT00 sends the IDOCs out. When the IDOCs are created via the payment run, they are set to status 30 (Receiver exists , No filters , No conversion , No version change), which has the user's username. When BD87 runs the IDOC status changes to 03 (IDoc written to file), which has the SAP_BATCH username (the username with which the BD87 was scheduled with).
This system has been working fawlessly for over 6 yrs.
Just one day this month, all the IDOCs that were created for PAYEXT message type, began with had the correct status of 30 & then 03 with the correct user-ids and statuses as above & for some strange reason again a status 30 (with SAP_BATCH username and error status: Could not write IDoc to file) and 03 (SAP_BATCH username and success status: *IDoc written to file*) and then continued as usual. The difference in the first & second status 30 is 3 secs. This has caused duplicate payments to the Vendor.
This whole situation was reset when 1 IDOC failed and everything was back to ususal.
We do not have any custom code to set any statuses. We have posted this to SAP & have been waiting for 2 days to respond.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

In my case Inbound - IDOC was generated & process in one thread. there was bug in code which was creating another thread to proces same IDOC.
One thread was processing IDOC with correct status of 53, another was trying to process IDOC it was putting status of 51 on same idoc
Both statuses were on same IDOC.
The possibility of creating new idoc hapens when system try to create IDOC.
In your case, It's just processing of IDOC which happens two times. so new IDOC will not be created.

IDoc adapter inbound channel: Error Connection err

Hi,
We are trying to push an IDoc from R3, it's status is green in WE02. However, the IDoc is not reaching PI.
In tcode SM58 in R3 we are getting an error "IDoc adapter inbound channel: Error Connection err". I have gone through the SAP note 940313 but was not able to figure out the exact cause of error.
Any help would be appreciated.

Please check the steps for Idoc posting to SAP PI system from R/3. Probably you are missing some configuration.
Few Checks -
1. did you created Logical System using BD54?
2. Create RFC destination Type 3 for PI
3. create partner profile using we20
In Pi
Check following
1. Create RFC destination of type 3 pointing to R/3 system.
2 . create Port using the IDX1
3. Using IDX2 import the IDOC meta data

My requirement is like this...
Scenario:- my client says...They Get some idocs from a external system and then a program runs in the background to read these idocs and post Inbound delivery and IR documents.
And Now As These IDOCs are not coming ...We have to read this data from a excel sheet and Create exactly the same type of IDOCs so that They can RUN the same Program to post Documents.....
Now my doubt is ...How do i create IDOCs with status 64 and that too in the same same..as here there wont be any target system..
Please help me with ur solution....How should i Approach...I know how to fetch data from excel and all..I need Help specially in
Creating IDOCs with 64 status and what should be in the Control Records..
