IE 11 zoom default 125% based on display settings in control panel.

Using Windows 7 Enterprise with 2 displays I have my display settings set to increase windows objects and text by 125%. IE 11 appears to compound this by defaulting to 125% zoom on startup default. If I set the display
control back to 100 the default on IE goes back to 100% as well. How do I get IE to default to 100 when the display is set for 125% Based on another post I checked IE ZoomFactor in the current user key and found it to be the recommended 100000.
and ResetTextSizeOnStartup and ZoomOnStartup are set to 1. Changes to these does not seem to have an effect.

I test the issue and have the same result as yours, the value of ZoomFactor remains 100000. As a workaround, I change the value to Decimal:80000 (or Hexadecimal: 13880) then F5 to refresh the registry, reopen IE, it goes back to 100%, my registry setting

According to my knowledge, the steps you provided are from Windows 8 clients. Based on my test, you can use the following methods to realize:
Add Traditional Chinese HK SAR. Locate the registry key HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Keyboard Layout\Preload, and then add a String Value "next number"(which has not been used)=00000404.

Display Settings Ethernet Controler T540p

So I have a nice new T540p that was a replacement for the Twist that had some faulty bios issues. Now I'm having issues with this display as well as the Ethernet controller.

Here are the drivers if you need any more information please let me know. I booted into the bios to see if maybe there is a display option and use the gfx card for the internal display. For some reason everything is using the Intel HD chipset instead of the 730m. Is there something that needs to be done? There was a screen replacement done about a week ago. Is there a different display port to use the 730m?
Ethernet controller has never worked. I installed the drivers but I get this error message whenever I do it says there are no Intel devices connected.
Please let me know if anymore information is needed.

If i understood you right:
go to your system-settings. There you will find the settings for the Nvidia Controll-Panel.
und 3D-Settings you will find the option for your prefered graphic card
- choosen by system
- always internal (=Intel HD)
- always high performance (=Nvidia)
seems like the auto setting isn't the best.
I just finished my second benchmark with the SAME SYSTEM. (results are 635 Points vs. 918 Points regarding to the 3D graphic.

I have a 4101 mfp with no display on the control panel?

I have a HP 4101 mfp printer C9149A with no display or LED lights on the control panel, I have replaced the control panel, formatter and the PCB connector. Any suggestions.

This seems to be a commercial product. For the best chance at finding a solution I would suggest posting in the forum for HP Business Support!

BUG: Keyframe Curve Display in Effects Controls Panel Broken

I noticed a bug a while back. Hope it would have been fixed by now, but it's not so I'm here reporting it. I can't remember if I was having the same problem before the 2014.2 update, but I know it wasn't a problem in earlier versions of Premiere Pro CC.
Add a keyframe to an audio layer
Add a second keyframe to the audio layer, and adjust the levels
Convert one of the keyframes to an Ease or Bezier keyframe
Watch as the graphic that should show you the curve flatlines
Here's an example image. I have Windows 8.1 scaling on, so everything is %150 bigger in this graphic, but I was having this bug before on my 1080p monitor (at 100% scaling), so I can promise is has nothing to do with that.
Legend:
Red is what I currently see
Green is what I'd expect to see
Functionally, the bezier curve does appear to affect what I'm applying it to. So the only problem that I can see here is that the grey graphical representation of the curve is wrong.
Is anyone else able to reproduce this? On Mac? Windows? Etc...

How do I call a LabView VI via dll to display its control panel in a tab of my uir in LabWindows

Hi User Community,
I am trying to build a LabWindows Top Level Control Panel to call individual LabView VI's, which have been compiled into a dll.
I have no problem using the CmtScheduleThreadPoolFunction to start a new thread that calls these VI's however, I'm having trouble trying to get the display that comes up in it's own window to display in a tab of my existing UIR.
I've compiled the DLLs to always display the VI Control Panel window when running - and usually it covers the whole screen you can't see the LabWindows window until the VI completes.
Is there a definitive guide to LabWindows Windows/Panels/Tabs? Or does anyone have experience with this? Any help would be appreciated.

I would suggest reviewing the Programming with Panels and Programming with Tabs CVI Help documents. I think that this can be done with the LoadPanelEx function. Let me know how it goes!

My 20" 2.16 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo had become almost useless due to freezes and crashes- with NO crash reports in the logs.
They were often preceeded by video glitches, so I assumed it was a bad video card- unfortunately soldered to mother board.
Apparently, from forum postings, this is not an uncommon problem. The computer would run longer if the day was cooler, but rarely more than 10 minutes, so I suspected it was aggravated by heat.
Then I found this post from Bodomann on an Apple Support forum:
"Following up on my previous posting regarding my son's late model 2006 iMac that required a $900 logic board replacement:
Turns out the problem is apparently related to a bad CPU temp sensor. I installed 'iMac Fan Control' (Google it) which reported the CPU temp always at 32 degrees Fahrenheit (obviously incorrect). The same software allowed me to adjust the CPU fan manually. After multiple trials I set the CPU speed to 2800RPM after which the system would run forever - never freezing with the dreaded grey box 'reboot me' screen. I tried several times reverting the software to default speeds and the system would always crash within 10 minutes. "
I downloaded free Fan Control 1.2 for Imac from Derman Enterprises (they have an Intel iMac and a Mac Book/Pro version). It installs as a system preferences control panel. I cranked up all three fan speeds. The fans sped up noticeably. Horizontal lines have gone from screen (so far), no color artifacts and no crashes yet. I may have a real computer back! Hope Apple checks this out-
The control panel also gives the temps sensors are reporting at the CPU, hard drive and DVD drive. The CPU sensor reports the CPU temp as 32 degrees F- which is clearly wrong, unless Apple has been installing little refrigerators inside.

Set default value based on current day value and setItems in Design studio

I have 2 filters on my dashboard - year and month. The default display of the dashboard should populate current year data. Is it possible to create formula to populate dynamic default value based on the current date using setSelectedValue() ?
Also, for the calendar month, the items are set as below
DD_MONTH.setItems(DS_1.getMemberList("0CALMONTH",
MemberPresentation.INTERNAL_KEY, MemberDisplay.TEXT, 12, "ALL");
This displays month values as 01/2014, 02/2014 ... How can I change these value to display as January if mm = 01 and February if mm = 02 etc..

Zoom default in Word for Mac

I just got Word for Mac recently. Whenever I open a document, the text is tiny. The zoom is set at 100%, but that's too low for comfortable reading/typing. (Now I know why my Mac-using friends always sent me Word documents set at 125% zoom!) I am wondering, is there any way to set the zoom defaults so that all documents will always open at a higher zoom level? Or do I have to increase the zoom manually every time I open a document?

I have Office X and I assume the later version works the same. I open a new Word document, manually set the zoom to 200 percent (for my wide-screen 22" flat-panel monitor) type some gibberish, and then save. After that, new documents opened with the keyboard shortcut command-n pop up at the same magnification. Using the "New..." command from the file menu does not also preserve the magnification.

I'm developing a small AppleScript that opens URLs of format "myapp:http://domain.com/data/filename.ext"
where 'myapp' is actually the applescript registered to be launched using "CFBundleURLName"
I wonder how to launch/open the default application registered for ".ext" file extension.
I found how to determine the default application based on a Real file:
default application of (info for POSIX file "/path/filename.ext")
Is it possible to determine the app based only on extension (i.e. the file itself doesn't exists yet).
I found that there is a function "LSGetApplicationForInfo" (https://developer.apple.com/library/mac/documentation/Carbon/reference/LaunchSer vicesReference/Reference/reference.html)
but have no idea how it can be used in applescript.

Is there a way to default the monthly calendar display
so that the current day always shows on top? ie, I want to always be able to see what's in the future 3-4 weeks, not what's in the past 3-4 weeks. The default monthly display is archaic--only allows you to see through the last day of the month. Suddenly today
is Oct. 30th, and I have a ton of projects lined up in November, but because I haven't been scrolling down every day, I haven't been aware of them every day. I realize there are other tools in Microsoft to help me stay on task, such as reminders and such,
but it would be helpful if I could always have the current day display on top of the monthly view so I can quickly scan what's coming up in the next few weeks.

Right, I already have it in Month view. My question is a little more specific--I'd like for the current day to always display at the top. For example, today is Oct. 31st, so the current day is at the bottom of the calendar since it is the last day of the month.
I can view everything in October that I've already completed. What I can't see are the future weeks because we haven't hit November yet. I'd like for the current day to always display at the top of my calendar so I can always see what's coming in the following
three - four weeks (whether they're a part of that month or not). I've been to other forums trying to find the answer, and have come across the same exact question from frustrated users--but there seemed to be no solution. So I'm posing the question myself

flip the page to that month or I come to the first day of the next month, thereby tearing the the old month off and now only able to see the current month. That format is just so...paper...and archaic! Essentially I want the calendars to loop so it doesn't
even really matter what month it is--I just always want to see what lies ahead without having to scroll down. With our being in the Technology Age, I'd assume this is a logical expectation, but we may be stuck with the replica version of the paper-desk-calendar
format until Outlook programmers add this Technology Age feature in newer versions.
See, this month kind of messed me up because I have so many projects for November that start tomorrow and next week, but I haven't seen them until this week. I would have been better quipped--at least expecting them--had I been able to see all of those projects
since last week or the week prior.
If there is no solution to this answer, would you know how I can contact Outlook to provide feedback? I'm guessing a newer version is on its way...

Windows 8.1 default video driver only displays 1024x768 on Satellite A665D-S6051

My laptop came with Windows 7 Home Premium. I upgraded to Windows 8.0 and had driver poblems. The Windows 8 installation was getting a bit buggy after 18-mos so I finally decided to upgrade to 8.1. I did a format and clean install of 8.0, then updated software before installing 8.1 upgrade. After upgrade Windows 8.1 used a default driver that only displays 1024x768 instead of 1366x768. I tried to install video drivers from AMD website and crashed the new Windows 8.1 installation. I'm back running 8.0 with no problems. Anyone know where I get the correct driver for my A665D-S6051? This is an AMD Pheonom II Quad Core processor with ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4200 series video display.

Computers with Windows 7 pre-installed that are supported by Toshiba for update to Windows 8.1
Windows 8.0 will not be supported by Microsoft after January 12, 2016.
I would restore the hard disk to its original out-of-the-box contents using Toshiba recovery media.
(Some would kill to downgrade to Windows 7!)

Have you tried resetting the SMC ? > Resetting the System Management Controller (SMC)

IE 11 zoom default 125% based on display settings in control panel.
