If an email alias was deleted, is there any way to get that alias back?
I was a .Mac and a MobileMe user and long ago I had created an email alias and subsequently deleted it. Is there any way to retrieve it for use now?
As an anecdotal observation, I have wondered why so many providers do not recycle (or allow to be reclaimed) deleted user names, email addresses and email aliases. It seems a waste to permanently "retire" such valuable and limited resources. I admire Twitter for allowing such flexibility.
There have been complaints of this sort from people trying to create completely new aliases: I don't know whether this is the same thing or is related to yours being a previously existing on.
You could try MobileMe Support (I know you're on iCloud but there is no free support for that unless you happen to have AppleCare, and MobileMe Support have helped some people). Go to http://www.apple.com/support/mobileme/ww/ and select your country. In the next window click on a category to expand it, then on a subject to get a link to 'live chat'.

I imported info from my phone to my wife's phone by mistake. She lost her photos, texts, and contacts. Basically my phone is her phone now. Is there any way I can get her stuff back on her phone? We also have a Mac computer. Could that info be saved on it?
If there's no backup, then there is nothing to restore.
In iTunes, under Edit > Preferences > Backups it should list the name that was assigned to the device. -
I backed my iPhone up on 08-23-2013. I lost my phone and I had to get another one. When I went retrieve my info it is was no longer there. Is there a way to retrieve?
Check the iOS version on your new phone (Settings>General>About>Version). It must be the same or higher as the one you backed up or you won't be able to access the backup without first updating your phone.

I just updated my iPhone 4 to iOS6 and now my calendar, contacts, notes, etc. are gone. Is there any way to get that information back? I thought those things were automatically backed up in the first step of the update process.
The only restore I can find is from 2010.

Today I deleted an email services I no longer need. Now when I go to the notes app I no longer have any notes. Is there any way to get my notes back. I have the first iPad running iOS 5.1.1
Ah, well, then the notes are probably gone. Did you save any of the email from that account on your computer? The notes might be there if you did.

I linked my outlook express with icloud, not realizing it would change my outlook express contacts. I deleted email addresses from my iphone, not wanting them there which in turn deleted them from my PC. Is there any way to get these addresses back? Seems I no longer have an outlook contacts list.
It's Outlook, not Outlook Express (different program) and if you have now deleted them from iCloud and do not have a backup they are gone.

My computer broke and I got it fixed. It doesn't say that the hard-drive was replaced, but I can tell my data is gone, including Pages that I bought. Is there any way of getting that without paying for it again?
Or if you purchased Pages as part of iWork on a disk, reinstall from the same disk.
Best of luck. -

Is there any way to get a photo back once it has been deleted?
Welcome to the Apple Community.
That depends on whether you have it backed up somewhere. -
my iphone 5 has restored to an old backup after updating to ios 7 is there any way of getting my stuff back as this has now become the most recent back up?
also since the update it keeps resetting itself? i had a lot of stuff on there that i really wanted and alot of important info lost? please help!!You might be able to remove the recent backup from the backups folder and the old one should be usable at that point
USE EXTREAME CAUTION WHEN ACCESS THE FILES AND DO NOT DELETE ANYTHING
Mac: ~/Library/Application Support/MobileSync/Backup/
Note: The "~" represents your Home folder. If you don't see Library in your home folder, Option-click the Go menu.
Windows XP: \Documents and Settings\(username)\Application Data\Apple Computer\MobileSync\Backup\
Note: To quickly access the Application Data folder, click Start, and choose Run. Type %appdata% and click OK.
Windows Vista, Windows 7, and Windows 8: \Users\(username)\AppData\Roaming\Apple Computer\MobileSync\Backup\ -

is there any way to get the programs back??!!??
if not, are there any good free programs to replace these ones?I called Apple Customer Support (1- (800) 767-2775) to check on how much they charge for the gray restore disks that originally came with the MacBook and was quoted $16 dollars per disk plus S & H. Which would be $32 for the two disks. Just give them the serial number of your MacBook and they'll know which ones you need. With the original disks you also get the iLife that was current when your MacBook was bought included on the #2 disk.
If you only want iPhoto or other single apps from iLife '11 you can get them from the App Store if you're upgraded to 10.6.8. iPhoto, iMovie or Garage Band for $15 each
Or you can get an iLife DVD on eBay. http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_trkparms=72%253A1234%257C66%253A2%257C65%253A12% 257C39%253A1&_sacat=0&_sc=1&_nkw=apple%20ilife%2011&_sop=12 -
My daughter restored her ipod in error, is there any way to get her library back?
My daughter restored her ipod in error, is there any way to get her library back?
It should all still be there in iTunes. Just reload the iPod from your iTunes library. Only the music on the iPod is gone, not the music in the library.
If she was synced with someone else's computer, then she will have to re-load from that computer.
If she bought music directly onto her iPod and never backed it up into iTunes (baaad idea), then she will have to contact Apple customer service for a one-time replacement on the purchases that she had on file. -
i synced my phone that had an itunes account but no music on it to a computer and it erased all the music on that computer. is there any way to get the music back?
See this older post from another forum member Zevoneer covering the different methods and software available to assist you with the task of copying content from your iPod back to your PC and into iTunes.

my computer crashed and lost my itunes, now i have a new computer...is there any way to get my music back from my account
It has always been very basic to always maintain a backup copy of your computer for just such an occasion.
Use your backup copy to put everything back.
If for some reason you have failed to backup, not good, then you can redownload some purchases in some countries.
Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store
