If an internal ID is changed for the Work Repository how does it affect objects that are already in it? Will they continue to run or do you need to cycle the ODI agent?

I was having trouble migrating the Master and Work repositories from my QA to my Prod environment. I was getting an error message that the internal id's were alike so I changed the internal id in my Prod Master repository. Then I tried to migrate the Work repository and was getting a similar error. I did a search on the internet for the error message and it recommended that I renumber the Work repository so I did. My concern now is how these changes affect the objects that are already in the repositories? Will those objects continue to run? Also do these changes take affect immediately or do you need to cycle the ODI agent?

Well I cannot completely assure you but so far I have not faced any issues after a renumber. It will affect the exist object only when you have imported the object in synonym_update mode. I believe you have the daily backup of your production repository.

It sounds like you have a crossfade turned on. Check the Playback tab in iTunes Preferences to see if anything is selected that would give that kind of behavior.

Hello Wontolla, I meant the Aperture main menu, there is a sub menu "View", see the Screenshot:
Set all flags in the Metadata Display submenu as I did, to show Metadata in Viewer and Browser, and then select "Customize"
Pick the Metadata fields you want to display for all views.
Make sure, that "Contents -> Keywords" is checked.

I'm sorry to hear that your laptop was stolen. Changing your password was a good step.
Entering your new password on your iPhone will not affect the laptop, as mentioned in this article:

Getting Error Out Of Memory while importing the work repository in ODI 10g

I exported the work repository from topology of ODI 10g of one DB and tried importing it in the another ODI 10g topology of another DB.While importing i got the error 'Out of Memory' .
Can somebody suggest me ,how to solve the heap size out of memory issue while importing in ODI 10g.

Disabling (turning off) a font will make it unavailable for use in any font menu. You can alwasy enable the font(s) again - they're not gone permanantly. DON'T disable System fonts, though -> that's just asking for trouble.

Eww, thanks for your reply, as it makes good sense, and common sense is practical when you walk into an Apple store.
I guess all the reviews and great specs of the new MB pro's made me want one...
I should probably use my current setup till it is totally outdated or simply is beyond repair.
I could ask Santa Claus for one, but by than, the 2012's will be coming out..:)

No. You only pay for Lion once and can then install it on all of your household Macs.
Purchase Lion in the App Store using one of your Macs and the install button will appear for Lion under the Purchases tab when you open the App Store with your other Mac. If you are ordering subscriptions for various people in your office, it would be best to sign up under their Adobe IDs, so they can log in and use the subscription with their own credentials. As for moving the current subscription, the easiest route is to cancel the current subscription (see Cancel your membership or subscription | Acrobat, Acrobat.com online services--or I can help), and then reorder as necessary.

Close all apps in multi-task window
1. Double tap the home button to bring up the multi-tasking view
2. Swipe the app's windows upwards to close

Photoshop CS5.1 error - you need to install the legacy Java SE 6 runtime.

I have PS 5.1 on my Mac. After I installed Yosemite, it will not work. I get an error saying "To open “Adobe Photoshop CS5.1.app” you need to install the legacy Java SE 6 runtime." According to Java, I have the latest Java. I contacted Apple and they said to uninstall PS 5.1. I reinstalled with no change. Any ideas? FYI - PS 5.1 work on my Macbook with no errors.
This is frustrating as I cannot use the software. Any help is appreciated.
