If anyone knows how to connect e7 with linux let m...

sorry guys, it seems that the problems will never end,i just have a problem with my computer because i'm using linux and can't connect it with my phone .which is really not good for nokia,i hope they read what we write because from now on i'll not recomend nokia to any of my friends who wants to get nokia phons,if the company we are using and love won't give us what we are looking for or need then there are no need to have her products, does not deserve us as clients.one can destroy 10. that's what i believe.

Nokia's Ovi Suite (etc.) is as incompatible with Linux as diesel fuel in a petrol car, so let that idea go.  But there are Linux solutions.  For me, I have two 8 GB memory cards, both nearly full with mp3's, and all those songs were installed to the cards using drag-and-drop.  You don't necessarily need a software program, just Mass Storage mode.  I made a folder called "Music" in the root area of the card and moved all the band/singer folders (with individual album folders inside) there.  The Music Player should find them, or manually refresh the database.  The same thing should work for pictures, although there may be some differences between your E7 and my E73.
As for the other functionality, I did a few web searches and found several "Suite" programs like Wammu, Xgnokki, and Nokuntu.  Search these forums for "Ubuntu" and you will find many other similar discussions.  /t5/PC-and-Mac-Software/Nokia-PC-Suite-Ubuntu/td-p/247373 is the one that got me started.  Wammu and Xgnokki should both be available through the Ubuntu Software Center (Applications ->  Ubuntu Software Center, unless they changed the menu layout).  Nokuntu looks really interesting, but you have to get it separately from http://sourceforge.net/projects/nokuntu/ .
Embarrassingly, I have never used any of these programs, so you will have to experiment to see what works.  You won't have full Ovi Suite support, like firmware installs and maps downloads, but it's something.  If you realize that most Linux programmers are university students, or people like you and me, writing software for fun, I think this is quite acceptable.  Not to mention that large companies like Nokia aren't always forthcoming about how their own software works.  Linux can be a chaotic OS, so take it slowly don't expect everything to work as smoothly as commercial software.  If you have specific questions about programs like Wammu, most have their own web site and support system (i.e. http://wammu.eu/support/ ), or you could visit the Ubuntu forums http://ubuntuforums.org/ .  Or you could follow-up here.   I hope that helps!

Does anyone know how to connect wireless speakers with itunes through airplay? I am not getting the airplay icon in itunes.

JBL doesn't have any speakers called "Spiral" that I can find, but anyway, perhaps something in this Apple support article on AirPlay troubleshooting will help:

  • Does anyone know how to use ATV with a keynote presentation?

Does anyone know how to use ATV with a keynote presentation? Is it possible?
    Thanks.

Yes use Quicktime. Try to create a presentation that uses a widescreen aspect 1280 x 720 would be good, then export it at full quality which should give you a movie of 720p at 24 fps and should be just fine for the tv, if you have any problems with exporting it this way, you could try manual settings or simply run the export you made at full quality through itunes using advanced/create an Apple tv version.

  • Where are the actual Aperture files located? Only in the application? I am transitioning to Lightroom and would like to only move some of the files. Advice appreciated. Also anyone know how to transfer in with edits?

Where are the actual Aperture files located? Only in the application? I am transitioning to Lightroom and would like to only move some of the files. Advice appreciated. Also anyone know how to transfer in with edits? Using iMac, OS X, most recent Aperture and Lightroom 5.7 with plugin for Aperture.

    Define "the Aperture files".
    Read this concise guide.
The files you imported into an Aperture Library can be exported (at any time, and repeatedly) using the command "File ▹ Export ▹ Originals".  Your Originals are never altered.  What went in is what comes out.
Adjustments and changes to the metadata that you made since creating an Image in Aperture by importing a file are saved to a text file.  This file is combined, on-the-fly, with the Original to create the Image that you see in Aperture.  There is no file saved to disk that is the full-size Image.  Thumbnails are saved, and Previews are saved.  These are JPG files, almost always smaller than the Original.  They are not substitutes for the Image for the use you have.
When you need a file of an Image to use in another program, you export the Image from Aperture.  "Export" means "Make me a file of this Image according to these file specs I'm providing".  The way to get files of your adjusted Images is simple:  create them by exporting.  Specify "Original size", and use a loss-less image-file format (e.g. TIFF 16-bit) if you want to retain as much visual information as possible.
Search the Web for information about transitioning from Aperture to Lightroom.  Note that I say "transitioning".  You cannot move a database from one format to another without significant changes, and likely some loss of information.  Adobe provides a tool and some instructions.  I strongly recommend working out the process step-by-step, and then proceeding with first a few Images, then a bushel-ful, and stopping to use the first few, the the bushel-ful, before committing your entire collection to the process.
As always, never use any computer file without having a back-up.
We have seen mixed reports here of the success of the LR tool that creates a LR database from your Aperture database.
If you want to carefully define the process, and test and refine it, use the excellent process-development, analysis, and execution program inShort.
Sadly, there is not and can never be a good, thorough re-positioning of the digital assets in your Aperture Library to become digital assets in a LR database.  Just as a metaphor for any user contemplating transitioning to another digital asset manager:  that would be like digging up a house in one country, planting it in a hole in another country, and expecting to be able to use the toilet and the sinks, turn on the lights, cook dinner, and sleep soundly.
    HTH,
    Kirby.

  • Hey Guys, from Germany. I want to connect my iMac 21" with my Tv just for fun. Does anyone know, how it works. With a Hdmi adapter?

Hey guys! I want to connect my Imac 21 " with my Tv just for fun. Does anyone know , how it works?

Selecting the correct adapter and cable depends on which year model iMac you have and what inputs the TV has?
Check the User's Guide that came with your iMac or your Spec's at > Apple - Support - Technical Specifications
to see if your iMac has a Mini-DVI or Mini DisplayPort and then select that adapter with the correct connection for the TV.
Example: if you have a 2010 or 2011 iMac and an HDMI ready TV, then you would want the > Moshi Mini DP to HDMI Adapter with Audio Support - Apple Store (U.S.)

  • Does anyone know how to connect to Bell South DSL under PPPoE?

I am having problems connecting to the internet.I have Bell South DSL. I was using a Dell laptop which used a USB cable to connect to the internet. Now that I have my first Apple (Macbook) I have been told to use the Ethernet cable that Bell South gave me instead of the USB. (They gave me both and they are labled) But the Ethernet cable B.S. gave me doesnt seem to fit into any ports on my Macbook. Once I get that situated, I was told to set my settings to PPPoE. Does anyone know how to do this or have any suggestions to my cable problem? And how do I get to Tiger from my Macbook? I cannot seeem to find it. Any input is appreciated.

Assuming "BellSouth" uses the same procedure as "SBCGlobal", which are now both ATT/Yahoo, as far as I know:
Take router from box. Connect to power outlet and phone outlet.
Take Ethernet cable, plug one end into the router's jack marked LAN, plug other end into your computer's Ethernet jack.
Point your Web browser to 192.168.1.1 (enter this into your browser's address bar, actual address might vary, check your router's documentation.)
A Web form will appear. Set router to PPPoE, if necessary. Enter the user name your ISP gave you. Enter the password.
Watch all the lights on your router go green.
Or, if the router is already set up, since you used it with your Dell laptop previously:
Take Ethernet cable, plug one end into the router's jack marked LAN, plug other end into your computer's Ethernet jack. Done.
The second from the left is your Ethernet jack:
