If I buy a tv show from my ipod and sync it to the itunes library will it stay in the library, even if I delete it from my ipod. I just want to make sure I am not totally deleteing it and lose my money.
Deleting it from the Pod after copying it to the coputer will not dlelte it from your ligrary.

I'm so confused what will it do? and what will it mean???Follow these instructions to not lose any data. When you restore from backup as the article says the iPod will also be updated.

Please help. I have no idea why this is happening and I'm kinda new to using iTunes. I'm trying to sync music from a playlist on my iTunes account onto my iPod Shuffle (older Shuffle). I use Windows XP on my laptop. When I try moving the songs to the iPod it says the iPod is synced to another library. I didn't know I had another library (but I guess it is possible because I used iTunes a few years ago too).
The only option I get is to delete the music already on the iPod and sync the iPod to "this" library. I really don't want to lose the music already on the iPod. PLEASE HELP. I'm tech challenged to say the least.See this post.

Updated to an iphone 4s from iphone 4. Did backup and sync but some apps have not been copied to the 4s although they do show up on the iphone4. How can I get my missing apps?

Try swiping them left or right,(try both) a Delete or Remove button should appear. Tap it.

i bought a ipod touch from a coworker and it wont sync up with my pc. i have reloaded itunes 5 times, checked my security which is allowing it through and had the ipod and sync cable checked at a local store. i think it has somthing to do with vista operating system, the ipod does not show up in devices and it continues to beep when it is plugged into the usb. this is my first ipod and so far am very frustrated .

I have an ipod previously linked someone else's account. We used to share the library and they used to update my iPod for me. Now I have my own ID and laptop with iTunes. How to I extract my music from the iPod and add it to the library ? ThanksUnless you want to learn more than most of us want to know about being a good geek, you'll need a third-party software utility to do that. CopyTrans worked well for me when I moved songs from an old iPod to a new computer for a friend.
So 1.) set up your (PC?) computer with iTunes, 2.) get something like CopyTrans which imports the stuff from your iPod to iTunes on your computer, 3.) make sure all the files from your iPod got copied, and then 4.) set iTunes to be the Mother Ship, which will then write all your old and future stuff to your iPod.
Make sure you've 5.) tested a backup strategy for your iTunes library going forward, because Apple would prefer you'd buy everything again from them. iTunes no longer has a good, native backup utility.
