if i buy an app can i use it on multiple devices?

Apps purchased from the Mac App Store will only run on the Mac OS X.
Help here >  Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store
Apps installed on iOS devices will not run on the Mac OS X and vice versa.

It depends on what your other Macs are and if the same Apple ID is used across them.
If some of your Macs are PowerPC or pre-leopard: No. The Mac App store is Snow Leopard and up.
I will share a pleasant experience:
My wife and I each have a 2010 MacBook Air (his: 13.3, hers: 11.6). Each shops all Applle stores (Mac Apps, iTunes, and Apple.com) via the same Apple Account.
Every Mac App purchase made on my MBA (including OSX Lion) is available for download on hers. And We have downloaded them at no additional cost: Aperture 3, Gratuitous Space Battles, iRingTones, FaceTime, and my most expensive purchase: OmniGraffle Pro for Mac. Updates are made available for both MBAs. Everything displays under Mac Apps "purchased."
If you use different Apple IDs across Macs, purchases will be specific to each ID.
Hope this helps. We have been very pleased.

  • If I have 2 license of an iPad App, Can I use it over 10 Devices?

    Hi All,
If I have 2 license of an iPad App, Can I use it over 10 Devices?

Only if all of these devices are ones you own or control. If they're used by different people, you need one license for each device. Here are the offiicial terms:
    (i) If you are an individual acting in your personal capacity, you may download and sync an App Store Product for personal, noncommercial use on any iOS Device you own or control.
(ii) If you are a commercial enterprise or educational institution, you may download and sync an App Store Product for use by either (a) a single individual on one or more iOS Devices used by that individual that you own or control or (b) multiple individuals, on a single shared iOS Device you own or control. For example, a single employee may use an App Store Product on both the employee's iPhone and iPad, or multiple students may serially use an App Store Product on a single iPad located at a resource center or library. For the sake of clarity, each iOS Device used serially by multiple users requires a separate license.
    Regards.

  • When I buy full CC can I use that both in my laptop and table iMac and iPad?

When I buy full CC can I use that both in my laptop and table iMac and iPad? I hope that I do not need to pay for the CC in every equipment.

You have two activations and can use it on two systems. iPad apps are separate and don't count.

The serial number for the version purchased on cd can be used for two installations: Mac and PC or Mac and Mac or PC and PC.
The serial number for the downloaded version can be used only on two PCs or 2 Macs (generally), depending upon the version purchased.

  • What apps can be used on the iPhone 3G?

My son has my old 3G & I'd like to know what communication apps can be used with that iOS...

Many apps now require iOS 5 and above.  Unfortunetaly iOS 4.2 is the highest for iPhone 3G.  I know there are a few apps like Pinger or Text Free or Text Plus that might be compatible.

  • Like apps, can you use an in app purchase on multiple devices?

    Hi,
I was wondering if someone can help me with regards to in app purchases. I currently know that should I purchase an app, I can install and use it on multiple devices (iPads, iPods etc)
I would simply log into my account on the multiple devices, and download the app onto the device, simple! I would also only be charged once, a copy would just be downloaded onto the devices.
What I want to know is, is it the same for in app purchases? Can I make a purchase once, and have the additions reflected on every device I have, or do I have to make the same in app purchase several times on the different devices, and as a result be charged again for each device I want it on?
    Thanks
    Ben

You can check here  >  iTunes Store: About In-App Purchases
But I don't think this is possible.

It's good to read Antoniad's post.  It reassures me that I can use my new iPad as an international communication device which is the reason I purchased the thing.  However, I called Verizon today (my provider of cellular data) who told me that I can't just pop in a SIM card as you suggested.  He also said that he was from the "Pre-Pay" division of Verizon and he was certain that I couldn't do what I planned to do.  I was extremely disappointed as I had called Apple prior to buying the iPad and I read the algorhythm on the website for choosing an iPad before purchasing.  Those sources were quite specific and the information seemed clear.  I would be able to use my iPad to communicate through cellular connections while traveling on the road, literally, abroad.  I was told that I could pop in a data card wherever I was, just as you indicated in your message above, and voila I was good to go.  The Verizon rep definitively rained on that parade, but said that I might be able to do this if I have a "Post-Pay" account, a different area of Verizon.  I haven't had the chance to talk to this division yet, so I looked to Apple's Support for answers.  Maybe I will find out that I can use my iPad as an international communication device while traveling on the road afterall, however, it appears I may need a different type of account (Post-Pay), something I was never warned about. Can I switch to this kind of account?  I don't know.  I have to find out.  If you have any information about this issue, it would be good to share since I strongly suspect there are others who bought the iPad for the same purpose that I have.
