If I delete an iTunes account on my iPhone, will I delete all the songs that were purchased with that account?
I had an Apple ID that was linked to an old email address that was hacked into. Now that Apple requires a login by using an email address, I had to change the email address/Apple ID on my pc. My iPhone 4 will not allow me to change the Apple ID to the new ID which ultimately leaves me unable to connect to the cloud as well. On my iPhone, it gives me the option to delete the account with the old Apple ID, but I am afraid that it may delete all the purchased music as well. Does anyone know if it will delete my purchased music. Verizon said this is an Apple problem and not a Verizon issue.

Yes, pictures in Photo Stream will deleted. Only on photo stream not on iCloud and Camera Roll. You can login again if you want.

Yesterday I started getting these emails that my address and credit card information was changed. I then got one that an order was placed on a device I had never used before. I did not do any of this so I went in to my account and there it was, all programs by YuFanApp had been purchased! (To me this is a red flag that that company may have stolen information from itunes users!) My credit card was not on file, I can't remember if I ever had it on there. The gift card I had on my account had been drained. My shipping adress was still the same. So I changed my password and tried to call customer service. They said they were sorry and just go online to the customer support express page and do things there to report it but there is nothing there to report it. I made a new Apple ID and I want to delete my iCloud account on my iPhone, will it delete only documents or data or it will reset my whole iPhone, like deleting my apps, contacts. Please I need your help.
All you have to do is this: Sync your 3GS to create a current backup. Then either: Settings>General>Reset>Erase All Content & Settings or restore it as a "New" device in iTunes. Both accomplish the same thing, erasing all of your data & settings from the phone. You can now give it to your sister, she can plug it into her computer, name it what she wants & sync her content to it. You then restore your 4S from the backup of the 3GS you created when you started. Follow this by syncing your content to your new phone & your 4S will look just like your 3GS.

i and my brother have different apple id's but are using the single itunes library on our home PC.When i am syncing my iphone most of the times the apps that were purchased with my brothers apple id is also getting on my iphone.

iPhone 6 will not sync music. This has become a problem since using itunes 12. It also will not sync all my pics and video's with my iPad 4 either. Removed and re-installed iTunes with no improvement. It stops at last step saying waiting for items to copy and just sits there. The iPad finish the sync, but some video's are missing.

Just to clarify: I purchased some of my older music in iTunes with an account that got deleted. I cannot recover or use this old account. I transferred music from my old iTunes to a new computer and that new iTunes on the new computer is asking me to sign into the old account to authorize the music. So, is there another way to transfer this music to my new iTunes? I'm using a USB thumb drive to transfer the music. Also, music that was purchased with my current account tranfers just fine.

How do I update apps that were purchased under prior email account? I no longer have this email address but the app updates keep prompting me for it.
Apps are forever tied to the account used to download them. That means they will always require it to update. The fact the email is no longer functional has nothing to do with this.
If you still have the password for the Apple ID (not the email account) you can still use it. You can also go to appleid.apple.com and update the email address for the Apple ID there to a functioning one so the Apple ID remains useable. -
When I got my iphone this week, I simply used my daughter's icloud account to back up to. Fortunately, the only thing I backed up was the music, which we both like to have access to, but I had unselected the contacts and calendar for fear of having duplicate contact info. Now I read that if I hadn't deselected them, it would have created duplicates. That being said, I suppose I need to create another icloud id for myself so i can just back up my info without merging the two. If I understand most of the posts I have read so far, if I do the "delete account" on my new phone, my daughter's info and phone will not be affected and will remain under her original icloud id? Then I can create my own icloud id and back up to it? I just don't want to lose her information by deleting that account from my phone. Should I go through the icloud settings on my phone first and deslect all of the options from backing up to the icloud before I delete the icloud account from my phone? BTW, my daughter's phone is an iphone 4 and mine is the 4s, if that makes any difference.
Deleting the account on your phone only removes if from your phone. The account and it's data remain intact and doing so will not effect your daughter's phone.
To do this, first go to Settings>iCloud on your phone and turn any synced data (contacts, calendars, etc.) to Off, and when prompted, choose to keep the data on the phone. When finished, scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account. Then set up a new iCloud account with a different Apple ID and turn any data you want to sync with iCloud (contact, calendars, etc.) back to On. This will upload your data to your new iCloud account. -

You should be importing your pics to your computer as you would a digital camera iOS: Import personal photos and videos from iOS devices to your computer that way you won't lose any pictures in your camera roll. -

My computer has been authorised and has the newest version of iTunes. My iPhone shoes the option of choosing my computer's music but my computer doesn't even show the option of music, but shows apps, movies, tv-shows and books. When i choose the option of find music to download from my phone, it says i have downloaded all yet i haven't and the music isn't in my library.
This was my first time when i bought anything from iTunes store and it also shows in my account information that i have bought these two songs but when trying to download them from my iCloud it doesn't work. Also when i click on the songs in my iTunes store on my computer, it says i have bought them but doesn't show the option of playing them. If I delete an app on my old iPhone will it delete the same app on my new phone?
My old iPhone 4s does not have data capability now that I have the new iPhone 6 plus. However, I still use the old phone for games and other apps. I also have some important information on the old and new phone since I downloaded all the information to the new phone. I want to delete some OLD NOTES on the old iPhone 4s so a friend can use it. If I do that will it also delete the notes from my new iPhone 6 plus SINCE THEY ARE ON THE SAME WIFI AND CLOUD connection? How can I safely delete SOME of the information on the OLD PHONE without deleting everything, as in when the entire phone is deleted, and still keep the information on the new phone?
But could the user of the phone just turn on iCloud themselves and get the private notes I wanted to keep from them? Is there a way to permanently delete them from the old phone without deleting from the new phone?
