If I do not touch the curser for a time, bubbles appear on the screen. How Can I stop this?
If i watch a movie using firefox, after a few minutes bubbles start appearing on the screen. I have to move the curser to eliminate them. Is there a way to stopping this from happening?

A computer can be associated to only one Apple ID at a time. Multiple Users on the same computer cannot use iTunes Match, automatic downloads, or re-download content from the iTunes Store at the same time: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4627.

All devices are using updated software and here's the issue:
Mom & Dad each have an ipod 3gs. Two teen kids each have an ipod touch 4. All 4 devices use the same Apple ID, share free and purchased apps. The kids are receiving Mom and Dad's text messages & messages between our texting contacts.
Question: 1. How can we avoid the kids receiving messages displayed on our phones to their touches (we are aware of iMessage on/off but we know the kids are able to turn this feature on and off on their touches without the need for a password.
Question: 2. If we set up separate Apple ID's for each Ipod device, can we all still share current purchased Apps & continue to share purchased Apps? Apple allows up to 5 devices share Apps.
Help is appreciated before we choose to not upgrade the older 3gs phones to the latest iphone and get Samsungs.
Thank you.Any devices connected to the same icloud account can sync all the data on that account. For this reason an icloud account is really for a single user.
On a mac, if each user has their own account, then the itunes for that mac account should be set up to connect to that user's icloud account (System preferences>icloud). -
I installed 4Sync when I was trying to find a download for a song and it has hijacked my browser completely. It always tries to set my default home page back to the 4Sync Homepage, but I do not want this. I even change it back and save the settings, but it just comes back and does it again in a few clicks. I feel like it has completely taken over Firefox and that it will always be my start page now, instead of the Firefox Google search page I normally use. I need to stop this because it is frustrating me. There is no new plugins or extensions installed on my browser, I just don't get it. Any answers would be greatly appreciated!!

Apparently we have forgotten how to scroll up to find the search field, donate button, etc. and website "designers" now include a locked banner at the top of your screen that you cannot close but remains in place as you scroll through what remains of the visible field to view half pictures, partial paragraphs, etc. Some of these are enormous, most of a middle size and some are thinner. None are necessary but fit neatly under the heading, "Just because you can does not mean you should." which programmers seem to disregard at will. Is there some way for me to maintain (re-establish) my possession of my desktop when visiting sites? I recently bought a new Mac Pro and for many wesites I want to log in like Itunes store, and koodo, It says "this service is currently unavailable. Pease try again later" I first I thought it was just the wesite but its been doing that for the past few days. I dont think all those websites can be unavaiable at the same time for so many days. The only thing I changed in my Safari was the homepage (if that has anything to do with it) I hope someone can help me with this, if not I guess I'll take it to future shop and see if they can fix it.

Safari > Preference > Advanced
Checkmark the box for "Show Develop menu in menu bar".
Develop menu will appear in the Safari menu bar.
Click Develop and select "Empty Caches" from the dropdown.
Do not use the back button. Use the previous/next button available.

Is the iPod still singed into the account isn Settings>iTunes and App Stores and SettingsZ>iCloudl? If it is then I would not be concerned.

For the other "problem", go to iTunes>Preferences>Devices and check the box that says Prevent iPod....automatically syncing. -
Regarding text messaging, if I send a message from my iPhone, the reply goes to my ipad, or mini ipad. How can I stop this from happening?
Go to Settings/ Messaging/ Send & Receive on each device to set the contact points to be reached at, and to set the "from" address when you start a new message. It sounds like your iPhone might be sending messages out as one thing (e.g. an iCloud address) but set to not receive replies only to your phone number. Make sure you review settings on each device since you may, or may not, want to have them common.

I have created another iTunes library (so I have 1 for an ipod touch and a separate 1 for an iPad), but the apps from the iPad appear in both libraries. How can I stop this so the 2 libraries are completely separate? Thanks
You don't need two separate libraries to manage two devices.
I suspect the reason that the apps are appearing in both libraries is that you have enabled automatic downloads in iTunes and automatic syncing of apps so that all your purchases end up in both libraries, defeating your original aim.
Why not use a single library and make playlists for the media content you want on each device? Disable Settings > Store > Automatic Downloads > Apps on each device, then connect each device in turn and turn off Automatically Sync Apps on the Apps page.
You can now manage your devices independently, while only having to manage the content of one iTunes library, instead of two.

My granddaughter put the Start Up Disk in the drive inadvertently and now the drive will not eject it or start up using the HD. I have tried all of the suggestions for opening it that appear in the manual. Help? It is her computer, a iMac G3 or G4 with superdrive, the one with the ball shaped base. Thank you.
It's a tray loading drive, there should be a little hole next to it, just large enough for a paper clip. Stick the end of the paper clip in it and the tray should open.

Help! My Mouse pad is not working properly. The arrow cannot be controlled, it just keeps jumping all over the page. How can I stop this?
There are several possible causes for this issue. Please take each of the following steps that you haven't already tried until it's resolved. Some may not apply in your case.
1. Follow the instructions in this support article, and also this one, if applicable. A damaged or defective AC adapter could be the cause, even if it's the right kind.
2. Press down all four corners of the trackpad at once and release. If there's any effect, it's likely to be temporary, and in that case the unit must be serviced or replaced.
3. Open the Bluetooth preference pane in System Preferences and delete all pointing devices other than the trackpad, if applicable. Disconnect any USB pointing devices. By a "pointing device," I mean a peripheral that moves the cursor, such as a trackpad, mouse, trackball, or graphics tablet. A plain keyboard is not a pointing device.
4. Start up in safe mode and test, preferably without launching any third-party applications. If you don't have the problem in safe mode, but it comes back when you restart as usual, stop here and post your results. Do the same if you can't start in safe mode. If there was no difference in safe mode, go on to the next step.
5. Reset the System Management Controller.
6. If you're using a Bluetooth trackpad, investigate potential sources of interference, including USB 3 devices.
7. A swollen battery in a portable computer can impinge on the trackpad from below and cause erratic behavior. If you have trouble clicking the trackpad, this is likely the reason. The battery must be replaced without delay.
8. There's a report that a (possibly defective) Thunderbolt Ethernet adapter can cause the built-in trackpad of a MacBook to behave erratically. If you're using such an adapter, disconnect it and test.
9. There's also a report of erratic cursor movements caused by an external display that was connected but not turned on.
10. If none of the above applies, or if you have another reason to think that your computer is being remotely controlled, remove it from the network by turning off Wi-Fi (or your Wi-Fi access point), disconnecting from a Bluetooth network link, and unplugging the Ethernet cable or USB modem, whichever is applicable. If the cursor movements stop at once, you should suspect an intrusion.
11. Make a "Genius" appointment at an Apple Store to have the machine and/or external trackpad tested. -

ThanksAfter a system crash your Aperture Library may be corrupted, because Aperture may not have been able to finish the ongoing database transactions.
