If I make a change to a document in acrobat, I cannot save it. An error message always comes up.

I have Adobe Acrobat XI. I can make PDF files very easily, however if I edit a file and try to save, I get the following error message.
"The document could not be saved. The files may be read-only or another user may have it open. Please save the document with a different name or in a different folder."
I have looked, it is not read-only, and I am for sure the only one with this file open.
Any suggestions - this driving me crazy!

Thank you, you just solved the problem I have been having since upgrading to Adobe Standard XI also. I was going nuts because everytime I tried to make a change to a PDF and save it, I got the same error message. I turned the preview pane off in windows explorer and now everything works. Thanks again!!!

Pages makes duplicate copy of my document every time I hit save

I searched but didn't see this exact problem mentioned anywhere so here goes...
I'm using Pages 2.0.2 and everytime I hit save on a document I get a duplicate copy with "Backup of" affixed to the front of the file name also saved in the documents folder. The contents of both files are identical and include all the work/changes I've made up until I click save. Both versions of the file are being saved with the standard ".pages" extension.
This is happening on all of my files and it's driving me crazy.
I keep reading that Pages does not have an autosave/backup feature and I certainly can't find one in the preferences but mine seems to be backing up anyway.
Any ideas?

Don't know if this has anything to do with it, sorry if it doesn't, but when you first did File>Save As did you tick the box "Save A Copy in iWork 5 format"?

To back up the previous version of a document when you save it:

When a PDF is saved as a Word document in Acrobat Pro XI, is a different OCR module being used than the one used in Acrobat Pro XI for text recognition?

OCR is only for recoginition of the image / picture of text provided by an scanner.
Content typed into a Word file which is converted to a PDF is (in Word and in PDF) *not* an image or picture of text - it is the digital text. So, no OCR involved.
When the "digital" (renderable) text of a PDF's page content is exported to Word no OCR is involved.
When a PDF's content is from the image output of a scanner and this is a picture of text then OCR comes into play.
If this content is exported to Word before doing OCR then it is the image that is exported to the Word file.
Once OCR is performed it is the OCR output that is exported.
OCR output is (always will be) impacted by "the quality of the OCR and the scans of the documents".
Regardless "Compare" is based on a Word file output to PDF1 then edits to the Word file followed by an output to PDF2. You use Acrobat Pro to do a compare of PDF1 & PDF2.
Paper 1 scanned to image 1 to image 1 in PDF1 that gets OCR 1 and
Paper 2 scanned to image 2 to image 2 in PDF2 that gets OCR 2
being processed with Acrobat Pro's Compare can certainly be done.
But - well you've described what can be observed.

As you have found in the View Menu of iChat is the option to Display the Recipients Bar
This bar when clicked will display the Screen Names that you know for your Buddy and your own Screen Names.
The Buddy's names are in the "To:-" section whilst your own are in the "From:-"

The Chat window has to Be Open.
The Buddy's current name becomes a Drop Down that show the To and From names.
It appears to allow you to Connect Google or Jabber IDs to AIM Buddies but the tick will move to any valid Account if you change either the To choice or the From choice.
AS you say about the add Buddy drop down that appears - when your Buddy list are displayed as one an extra drop down appears fro you to Select the account/list it is joining as a Buddy

It sounds like if you open Preferences in Word there will be a place where you can specify where to store autorecover files. Right now it sounds like it's pointing to somewhere that doesn't exist.

Where are you physically located?
What country's Store are you using?
The two have to be the same and the payment method for your account also has to be associated (billing address, where iTunes gift card was purchased) with that country.
Has the ID(s) worked before for purchases for this country's store?

First I would just try deleting the SCInfo folder, restart your computer, open itunes and see if you are still getting the error, at that point if you are it is a permissions error with the computer specificaly and not in itunes.

winmail.dat files usually mean the email has been sent in rich text format - you could either the person who sent it to send it in a different format e.g. plain text or HTML, or there are a few apps in the store that support it (search for winmail.date in the store).

I,m carrying out STO between two plants with in same company code.I have ctreated STO-PO(doc type UB)
When proceed for delivery using VL10B the following error is creeping in:"Document is incomplete: You cannot save the delivery"
The technical data provides the following info

When I try to create an outbound delivery for an STO using t-code VL10B, i get an error saying the following:
Error Log for coll. run 0000740903.
            4500157269 000000 Document is incomplete: You cannot save the delivery.

Hello Kaveri,
It seems to me that the "incompletion procedures" for replenishment delivery have not been fulfilled to create the delivery.
Can you please check what is the incompletion procedure assigned to your replenishment delivery and what fields in that procedure are mandatory to be filled before the delivery document gets generated.
If these fields are not filled, then the delivery creation fails. Please check the details in the config (LE>Shipping>Basic Shipping functions>incomplete control for deliveries>Assing incompleteness procedure and then define incompletion procedure for the field information at the header and item level).
If this seems to be lengthy, please check with your SD guy who can quickly check it for you about the incompletion procedure requirements.
