If I move my wacom pen tool on the screen I get a yellow note. How do I get rid of it or turn it off?

I just installed OS X Mountain Lion. I have a wacom pad and pen. When I move the pen to highlight text, or move the cursor anywhere on the screen, a yellow lined sheet note shows up and a scribble (the pen movement) is shown in black. If I click elsewhere the yellow sheet enlarges by adding on sections. I have to click on a blank place on the web page or the border to clear the sheet away.
Where is this coming from and how do I disable this automatic note? It shows up on web pages, MS word documents, email box, windows, QuarkXpress and Photoshop documents as well. Help! It's very annoying!

I discovered that in System Preferences in the Hardware section there is an item called Ink. I opened it up and turned off the Handwriting recognition. That stopped it from becoming active everytime I dragged my pen tool. When I installed the OS X Mt. Lion, it had automatically turned on.
Problem solved.

If you change your tool to the "Direct Selection Tool" (A) then you should be able to adjust the area for you to type in...

becomed to 9.0,but the "pen tool" has not any changed. The "pen

But it HAS changed - the Pen tool is very similar to the Pen
tool In Illustrator now.

Use a small thin piece of plastic (metal tools are likely to scratch the case) and work along the seams of the tray. In all likelihood your tool is unlocking it but the tray itself is a bit gummed up, jammed. Be patient, don't force things, and you'll probably get it open in short order.

Lost the eye tool on the side of layers its a brush how do I get it back

Dont know what I did but the eye tool has dissappeared. Also when I go back to a layer to edit say text, the layers after that all vanish! What am I doing wrong?

Hm-m, that is odd.
The first thing that I would explore would be to Reset your Workspace to the default.
If that does not get the correct icons back, and with your comments on Layer behavior, I sort of doubt that it will, then trash the Preferences. PS will reset the Preferences to default. Note: you will then need to customize any Preferences, such as Scratch Disks, Cursors, etc., if you had changed those settings from the default.

The text does not fit on my screen. It goes off the side and there's no bar at the bottom to move it over. I have been using Mozilla Firefox for years but last week I downloaded the new toolbar and ever since then, I've had problems like this. I tried to fix it through "zoom" but that did not work. It only made the print smaller but it still went off the screen. Anything to the far right I could not see. To get it back to normal, I had to uninstall Firefox completely off my computer last week. Everything was fine then, by using Internet Explorer. I tried again today and downloaded Firefox but the same thing happened. Therefore, I'm going to uninstall Firefox...again and use Internet Explorer. Any suggestions for this problem? Once again, the "Zoom" solution DOES NOT WORK. Help!

To move icons around hold down on one of them until they all start to wiggle. Then drag them wherever you want them. When you're done press the home button and they'll stop wiggling.
alternatively, when you have the ipad hooked up to iTunes you can move icons around that way too just with your computer's mouse

When I click on Tools, Options, the screen freezes

No matter what website I am on, when I click on Tools, and then click on Options, Firefox freezes. I cannot refresh, I cannot close the tab, I cannot close the browser session. The session does not close when I click on the Firefox icon in the start tray and click on Close Window. The only way to get the web browser to close is to Ctrl+Alt+Del and end the task (which always shows that it is "Running"). I have waited as long as 5 minutes for the browser to Refresh or Close, and nothing happens.

You can check for problems with preferences.
Delete possible user.js and numbered prefs-##.js files and rename (or delete) the prefs.js file to reset all prefs to the default value including prefs set via user.js and prefs that are no longer supported in the current Firefox release.

Freehand Pen tool

Probably a simple problem. But in MX with the pen tool, if
the next point is close (but not on) the last dot it ends the line
and starts a new with the next click. How can I get not to do that?
The distance from the dot that ends the line is three/four mm (!!!)
Any suggestions?

The "join non-touching paths" is unchecked. I have gone
through all the settings I can think of and noting seams to change
it. However, drawing with the Opt (I think you mean control-key)
pressed makes a diffrence.

Why is Photoshop CS6 extremely slow with the brush tool using Wacom pen?

Could my wacom tablet be the issue? The psd processor spins not stop until I pick up the wacom mouse and click on an adjacent layer then back to the layer I was working on. Then the wacom pen work with the brush tool. This seems to happen when every time I pick up the pen and go back to the brush tool.

First, sorry it took so long to reply. Have been a bit swamped. What I mean by the psd processor, is the balls that rotate kind of like the SBDO when the app is executing a paint stroke. So I tried your suggestion, mad a new file 7w x 5d at 72pi, set the brush to 25px at 100% hardness and made a stroke with the wacom pen. It worked fine. The issue is working in large files say around letter size at 300dpi or large format graphics for trade shows at 150dpi. These files can range anywhere from 6ft x 8ft high to 16ft w x 10 ft h for an example. So painting in a channel mask or retouching using the brush tool in airbrush mode is painfully slow. I've found that while this little psd icon is spinning, if I take the wacom mouse, click on an adjacent layer then go back to the layer I was working on and resume with the airbrush, the problem subsides. It seems this spinning thing happens when I initially start using the brush on a layer or layer mask. Do you get what I'm trying to explain?

6.     Layers Group:- In the group (folder) we move the objects with move tool and it moves all grouped objects that’s much better, but when we open the group (Folder), after opening it moves also all grouped object !!!, that’s not perfect, I suggest you how to do it, double click on grouped any object to open the group then move any object, and double click on any grouped object to close the group (folder). ( like Illustrator )

OK Here goes my wannahaves...
1) create new table or sheet from a file instead of having to open the file and copy/paste into current document. ie "Insert Sheet from file", "Insert Table from File"
2) show linked data from a data source other than the address book - eg an ODBC data source or Filemaker database
3) Ability to paste a filtered table into a new table with just the found rows.
4) Ability to freeze rows and columns to allow for very wide or deep tables
5) When typing data into a cell, automatically adjust its width as you type. Depending on your enter key config, hitting enter puts a new line in the cell and adjusts the row height to fit.
6) Printer page formats default to regional standard: eg in Australia, UK - A4
7) Popup list or menu contents based on a data range: eg a list of categories
8) Media to be selected from anywhere on the system, not just in iTunes/iPhoto (eg most of my video is on an external hard drive)
9) "Autofilter" based on contents of the column.
10) Vlookup and other reference functions: need to be able to select a table (by name) as your range, a column/row (by name) to look up from and a column/row (by name) to retrieve. All functions should work this way, not just the basic ones.
11) When inserting a table you should be asked how many rows and columns.
