If i purchase itunes match will it come out of my itunes account if i have available money or will it come out my bank account?

if i purchase itunes match will it come out of my itunes account if i have available money or will it come out my bank account?

Interesting - I just installed match and my balance disappeared.  It asks for, and I entered, I credit card.  It makes no mention of clearing out your redeemed balance of itunes gift cards.  This should be made much clearer.  Now I will have to check with my credit card company to ensure only the balance of what was not covered by my itunes gift card balance was charged for match - not the full amount on my credit card as the forms make you believe will occur.

  • How do I merge two valid, purchased iTunes accounts into one so all my music is in same account?

I have two valid, purchasd iTunes accounts.  Older iPod has some great music, I just got a new iPad and set up second iTunes account, bought some more iTunes items for that account.  Just discovered iCloud.  Now I want to put all my music from both accounts onto the cloud so I can access it on all my apple devices.   Can't seem to add from one account to the other.  Can sign onto the new account wiht my old iPod, but it will not let me sync without erasing all the music on the device.  How can I merge these two accounts into one?

You cannot. iTunes pruchases remian tied to the account they were purchased with.

    Why?
Remove your info from new account, update old account as needed and use that.

  • ITunes is saying I have available downloads for stuff I already have downloaded.

A few days ago I backed up about 100 or so apps to iTunes that I had originally downloaded on my iPad (4th Generation, 32GB).
The odd thing is iTunes is saying that I have downloads waiting for those apps. Is there any way to get iTunes to recognize I already have them downloaded so I can get rid of the downloads icon in the top-right of iTunes 11?
I could download them again, but I have a DSL connection and I'd rather not waste my bandwidth on that.

Sounds like it's been awhile since you've last sync'd (sunc? lol) your device with iTunes - and sounds like you've downloaded the updates for these app's on your device already. Once you sync, that number will go away - or you can let them all download...all it will do is ensure the same version is stored in iTunes that is on your phone...same happens to me when I don't sync for awhile and get like 10 updates over 2 weeks on my phone...just plug your phone/ipad/ipod/whatever in, sync it, and that number SHOULD disappear...otherwise, just let iTunes download the newest versions of whatever it's downloading.

  • After canceling a pre-order from iTunes I don't have the money credit back

I recently pre-ordered an album from iTunes on my iPod Touch. (gift card)
After about a week I decided that I'd rather get the actual physical disk from the store once it's released, so I canceled the pre-order and  I was told by the iTunes store that I would get the credit back after a cancellation, but to my surprise I haven't gotten the credit back. It's already been a day since the cancellation and I haven't gotten anything back, not even an email from iTunes witch I always get after every transaction.
Please help me out, Thanks! :-)

  • My Ipod will not transfer all of its songs to purchased Itunes song transfer.  My last pv crashed, I dont have access to it any more.  I want my library back on Itunes.  ANy help?

My Ipod will not transfer songs.  my old PC crashed and could not recover anything from it.  When I purchased my new Dell, when I loaded Itunes back on to it my content library will only transfer over purchased Itune songs.  I have tons of songs I downloaded from the old "CD" onto my new Itunes account from my Ipod.  Any help?

so then technically I can't transfer the songs off my ipod to my itunes library?  since it is one 1 transfer from pc to ipod...correct?  So when I synch my ipod the warning screen comes up and says "there are content not in the library, erase and synch library to Itunes, only purchased songs can transfer."   Can I leave the songs on my ipod and when I purchase new songs to itunes I can still transfer those correct?  while having the others on there that wont transfer?

  • HT1918 how can i cancelle something i purchased for itunes if my debit card doesnt have enough money on it

how can i cancelle a purchase on itunes if i dont have enough money on my debit card

Why are SO many people asking this question, and no one is answering? Why does no one at Apple ever answer these "support" discussions? It's just millions of people upset for various reasons (such as broken off buttons on the iPhone 4S that my poor mother has experienced, among thousands and thousands of others with ZERO help from Apple). And the only people who do find help here, get it from others who find workarounds without Apple's help.
I also have the same question as above, (and the thousands of others do as well - do a quick Google search or just look at all the similar posts to the right).  I've tried to call Apple, and I keep getting re-directed to their website. I search their website, and no answer is provided. PLEASE RESPOND Apple. Geez louise. For such a profitable company, they sure don't help their customers very well. I have so many Apple products, I can't even count.
Your customer "support" is shameful, Apple. Unbelievably bad. #apple #fail

  • HT201304 How to check what is owed on your iTunes account

Does anyone know how to check your iTunes account to see how much you owe

    DevSquare wrote:
    Well that is entirely incorrect.
I'm not sure where else in the world you can but in Australia you can have Debit Cards which are linked to your main Bank Account. These work as Credit Cards but use the balance in you Main Account. So there is no fees incurred and its very simple to use.
I have purchased apps from the store before and didnt realise that I didn't have the money in my account but it still let me buy it. Thus put my account into a negative and I had to fix the amount before my next purchase.
It's a good idea to research what you're telling the community because people really rely on a comprehensive response.
As for the OP: The feature to see how much you owe used to display upon re-entering your Security Code on your card when you had sufficient funds. Now when you have brought the balance from a negative it will send you a reciept.
    Good Day
    I'm sorry,but entirely incorrect?
According to Apple's own Article on the subject, they attempt to bill in a specified order.
    Order of iTunes billing methods
When making purchases, content credits are used first, followed by Gift Certificate, iTunes Card, or Allowance Account credits; your credit card or PayPal account is then charged for any remaining balance.
iTunes Store: How iTunes Store purchases are billed
    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5582
Nowhere does it say "we let you download if you don't have enough balance and then you can settle with us".
Also its possible your debit card has a provision in Australia to allow the charge if there's not enough balance and the charge is below a certain threshold. In which case you would have to settle the pending balance with your bank, not iTunes directly.
In any case, if you try to purchase something without enough credit on your accepted form of payment (which incidentally does not include Debit cards) then the charge will not happen and no download should ocurr.
This I've seen many times. If my iTunes card balance is not enough, and my credit card limit has been reached (yes its happened a few times) I cannot download anything. I've seen it happen with friends too several times.
There is just no conceivable way iTunes would allow you to owe the system money, because it would be a logistics nightmare. Apple is not in the business of collecting past dues. There's no way they would allow that to happen.
Best case, you settled with your Bank not directly with iTunes.
With that said, I think its a little rude to claim the entire statement is incorrect. Clearly there were parts that were accurate and correct.
There may have been a discrepancy with your experience, but the answer is based on research, of Apple's own statements, and articles which is at this point the Authority on how their billing works. If there's a difference in Billing in Australia, I cannot say, it very well may be, as far As I know based on reading Apple's articles, and my own experience, is there is no way to owe iTunes directly.
So to you I say, unless you have concrete evidence, of more than one case, and a somewhat fuzzy one at that, refrain from stating other people's answers are entirely incorrect.
Notice I never said your statement was entirely incorrect, which it very well may be.

    Hello gogreenj14,
If you had iTunes Match updated with all of your non iTunes purchased content already, then yes, when you enable iTunes Match with the following article it will have all the content that has been uploaded to iTunes Match will be available for download.
iTunes: How to add a computer or iOS device to iTunes Match
    http://support.apple.com/kb/ht4913
Open the latest version of iTunes on the computer you intend to add. You can download the latest version of iTunes here.
Sign in with the Apple ID you use with iTunes Match.
Choose Store > Turn On iTunes Match.
Click the Add This Computer button.
When prompted, enter your Apple ID password.
iTunes will automatically begin scanning your computer's library for matches.
A status indicator will allow you to track progress. You may also manually pause and resume the process at any time by clicking the Stop or Start button.
Once iTunes has completed matching and uploading your iTunes library, your music in iCloud will be integrated into your local music library. A download button will appear to the right of any content that you have in iCloud that doesn't already exist on your computer.
Thank you for using Apple Support Communities.
    Cheers,
    Sterling

No, your Yahoo account is not in iCloud (which only handles iCloud mail), it is in Yahoo, and the Yahoo mail account is on your iPad.
But the MacBook Pro will have none of it! I write this question now as I fear that I will be totally demented very soon and unable to formulate my thoughts clearly!
Get the correct settings for your account from Yahoo and set it up manually.
By the way, I also find the "password" issue problematical. It seems Apple want my Apple password rather than my eMail password. All very confusing.
That would depend on what you are trying to do.

  • I have purchased itunes match but the cloud will not load on my ipad 4.the only music that will show up is stuff that i bought from the itunes store.any ideas on how to get this to work?

i have purchased itunes match but the cloud will not load on my ipad 4.it works on my iphone 5 & it originally worked on my ipad.the only music that will show up is stuff that i bought from the itunes store.any ideas on how to get this to work?

On the MBP, in iTunes, switch to Song view and enable the iCloud Status column by pulling down View > View options and selecting the option for "iCloud Status." Close the small window. Look for any tracks that have a status of "waiting." If you see several of them disable iTunes Match while holding down the Option key. Quit iTunes, wait a few seconds, then open it again and turn iTM back on. Let it compelete the scan. Wait until all tracks that are "waiting" have a status of either "matched" or "uploaded."
On the iPad, turn off iTunes Match then launch the Music app and let the contents clear out. Power cycle the iPad for good measure, then re-enable the service once all the tracks in iTunes have been processed.
