If I use my bluetooth mouse with my MacBook Pro will it drain more battery?

Bluetooth mouse (Razer Orochi) paired with MacBook Pro with Retina Display. Will it drain my battery drastically?

Not drastically but wil use at the minimum around 30 mins of battery life.....Depending how much you're using your mouse....

Why doesn't my Apple wireless remote remain connected?  It is frequently giving me a "lost connection" signal and since the touch pad works intermittently it has become frustrating.

Can I use Bluetooth earphones with my Macbook Pro?
If so, are there any problems and/or limitations in doing so? (i.e. no stereo sound, or anything else?).

And, just out of curiosity, why can't you use the Bluetooth earphones on an airplane?

  • How do i use an external display with my macbook pro?

How do I use an external display with a macbook pro?

Just buy the proper adapter cord, such as MiniDisplay port to HDMI for example.  Plug it in and it will be automatically recognized.  Use System Preferences > Displays to set options.
The display can Mirror your primary desktop or Extend the Desktop.

  • Can I use an USB disc with my macbook pro bought in 2005.  What capacity will it take 2.00 or 3.00?

can I use an USB disc with my macbook pro bought in 2005.  What capacity will it take 2.00 or 3.00?

The first MacBook Pro's were not released until the beginning of 2006, and they had USB 2 ports.
Anything available new in 2005 would have been a PowerBook G4 and they also had USB 2 ports.
A USB 3 disk will just transfer data slower then it could do, if you plug it into a USB 2 port though, so you can buy either.

I have a 2010 vintage 13-inch MacBook Pro that has a 60 watt power adapter.  I also have an older power adapter that is 65 watts.  Is it okat to use the 65 watt with this MacBook Pro?

    yes.
"For instance If you have a MacBook (13-inch Late 2009) that normally uses a 60W adapter, you can also use an 85W adapter with that computer. You would not use a 45W adapter with that computer; it would not provide enough power for that MacBook. Using an adapter of higher wattage than the adapter that came with the computer will not cause the computer to charge more quickly or otherwise operate any differently than using the adapter that came with the computer. I am using duel thunderbolt displays with a MacBook Pro. I only have the option to have sound come from one or the other. Has anyone thought of making the left channel come from both speakers on the left Monitor and the same of the right? If yes, how is that done? The MacBook Pro could even be a center channel if configured in that order.

Yep, I updated. I've had no problems and I like the new OS. However, since my MacBook Pro is pre-2011, I had to downlod Air Parrot to be able to use the MacBook in conjunction with Apple TV. Everything now works well.

I have Olympus Voice-Trek V-11 and want to use it. The problem is that it's no longer supported by Mac. I use MacBook Pro with OS X 10.8.5. I appreciate it very much if anyone knows what should I do to make my voice recorder usable with my MacBook Pro?
In other words, I'm looking for something like Apache's Open Office to  MS office suit.
I appreciate anyone's help very much!

    Welcome to Apple Support Communities
To do what you want, do not use Migration Assistant. You will damage OS X. Instead, you need to erase the hard drive, remove everything from your MacBook Pro and restore the Time Machine backup, so you will be upgrading to OS X Mountain Lion.
It is as simple as holding down Command and R keys while your computer is starting up. Then, connect the external drive with the Time Machine backup, choose the option to transfer a Time Machine backup and follow the steps in the display.
As you will lose everything you have in the MacBook Pro, you may want to make a backup of its files first.
