Clear space on your iPhone (go to Settings > General > Usage) and complete the download there.
If you rented the movie on your iPhone, it can only be viewed on your iPhone.

I Have always used Itunes for my music and for reasons beyond me Itunes has been freezing up and lately it has bringing a mate that reseambles a normal Windows error message but it's telling me that Itunes has to close and the program can't save anything due to lack of memory ? Becasue something got corrupted on the iPod. It happens sometimes. Just restore the iPod to factory settings/new iPod and then try restoring from your backup.

just been to apple store as i am having trouble
1) updating new software
2) icloud wont back up phone due to lack of storage
3) I can't but extra icloud space due to the fact the phone is a replacement and itunes cant verify the bank details
4) when i try to backup to pc it says itunes could not back up i phone - becasue the backup was corrupt or not compatible with the iphone

Please help ... many thanksIf the free disk space on your Mac is too small to backup and your iPhone then it has too little free space to run properly.
You need to start doing some removal of data to free up space on the disk drive. The data can be either deleted or moved to another disk drive. what ever you do leave the system files alone and work with the files in your Home directory only.
The first thin you need to do is to make sure you have a backup of the Mac first. -
I can't update iOS7 due to lack of space for the upgrade. I have hardly any songs, apps and pictures yet there is this 'other' storage which is over 4GB. What is it and how can I reduce it?
Thanks, I ended up just going to Apple and returning it and upgrading to a 16GB Iphone and just paying the price diffence. They had no problem doing that. So, for $100 plus 10% restocking, I got a brand new, double the capacity, Iphone.

You can do it by manually managing music and videos. See:

If you have iTunes 11 turn on the Sidebar. Go to iTunes>View and click on Show Sidebar. You can also do a Crtl+S to show the sidebar.
To sync to your iPod go to iTunes>Help>iTunes Help>Sync your iPod....>Sync You Device>Set up Syncing>Sync your device manually and follow the instructions -
Download error when renting a movie off the iTunes store app
Hi, I tried to rent a movie off the iTunes store app today(I have rented before with no problems), but when it was in the processing stage it started saying Download error. Tap to retry. Now its taken up 1.3 gigs of space but it never finish processing so its not there. Very frustrating and i cant fix it.
Apple Tech support doesn't respond here. This is a user-to-user forum.
You can always restore your Touch to get the memory back. And as, of course, you have everything properly backed up (you do, right?), you can just reload when you're done. I don't know as there is a faster solution.

How come my Iphone 4 keeps saying not enough storagespace to take any more pictures and can't get updates yet I keep deleting apps and photos off my phone and my itunes on my computer and yet I feel like I don't have many apps or that many photos?
Check Settings > General > Usage to display what's taking all your space.

Help. I recently downloaded the latest software update for on my Apple TV (per the prompt Apple TV gave us). Ever since downloading the update, we cannot access movies, play movies, or access iTune store. We can play YouTube videos so the problem is not related to the connection. It happens only when we are trying to access Movies. Very confused. Our AppleTV was working fine until I did the new software update. Now this problem! Help!

As stated above - purchasing more space in iCloud has nothing to do with this. You do not have enough space left on the iPad for the movie to download, you need to delete content on the device itself.
You may want to transfer purchases to iTunes and then delete some content on the device to make room.

Can't move movies bought from iTunes to iPhone
I just bought one movie off of itunes and rented another. I want to put them on my iphone so that my kids can watch then on a flight. I was able to move the rental onto my iPhone no problem, but when I try to drag the movie I purchased onto my iPhone it won't drop onto the iPhone. I don't get the "+" icon showing that it can be added to the iphone. Any ideas?
ThxI have the same problem. Movies and tv shows downloaded from itunes will not work if they are longer than 25 minutes. The guy at the 14th st Genius bar said that all is well with both computer, nano and software so "we're calling it a usb problem". Do you have an older model mac or pc?

Yikes! After upgrading my iPhone 3GS to iOS 5, I lost my Contacts, calendar entries, and Notes (100+) on my iPhone (3 years old). How do I retrieve them? My last backup/sync to iTunes acct was Sept 18 but yesterday's backup bombed due to lack of space on my C: drive.
This happened to me too but it was really all there. Go to your calendar, click on calendar in the upper left hand corner, click on show all calendars, click done in the right upper corner. Everything should show up!!!

Due to lack of space on my c drive I decided to move my music folder to my d drive. After I done this I noticed all my music was gone from itunes so I decided to move the music folder back to the c drive to try fix the problem. All my music and playlists etc are still missing from itunes. Any suggestions on how to fix this problem???
A possible cause is a problem with the file places.sqlite that stores the bookmarks and the history.
