If you subordinate a keyword by accident, how do you return it to being a non subordinate keyword?

From time to time I have accidently subordinated a keywork by what appears to a be a slip of the finger. After the key word has been subornated under another keyword I have found it impossible to unsubordinate it.

You can always go to the keywords HUD and rearrange keywords.
Exactly, as William Lloyd said.
Just a hint - it can be tricky to move a keyword to a higher level in the hierarchie, if your list of keywords is long.
I found, that it helps to shorten the list by typing the keyword that you want to move, into the searchfield of the HUD. Then only this keyword and its higher categories will show. Then you can easily drag the keyword down to the empty space on the HUD and out of the group.

You profile says you have a Mac Pro and it is running 10.6.8. You either have the install DVD when you bought the Machine, look in the box, or you bought a 10.6 DVD retail install disk, you would remember if you did.
If for some reason you dont have your 10.6 DVD, you need to buy one. Call an Apple Store and see if they can sell you one. I think that depends on where you live. You are in luck if you live in the USA.

It has always been very basic to always maintain a backup copy. Use your backup copy to put everything back.

Do you have a backup? If you restored as new, your messages were deleted. Unless you have a backup to restore from, they are gone permanently. Do you regularly backup in iTunes or to iCloud?

Until Evernote updates their add-on to mark it compatible with Firefox 6, you can use the [https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/add-on-compatibility-reporter/ Add-on Compatibility Reporter] to try re-enabling it yourself.

How do you return the number of Rows in a ResultSet? It's easy enough to do in the SQL query using COUNT(*) but surely JDBC provides a method to return the number of rows.
The ResultSetMetaData interface provides a method for counting the number of columns but nothing for the rows.

No good way before JDBC2.0. u can use JDBC2.0 CachedRowSet.size() to retrieve the number of rows got by a ResultSet.

If you bought Reader, you were swindled, because it's a free program. And it has never been able of converting PDF files to any other format.
